With this episode, we'll be going over the game Alquerque which is seen as the predecessor of checkers which has its roots with the Arabs and Al-Andalus. And since this game has a connection with the territory that would later become Spain, it allowed the Spaniards to help spread the game as they engaged in the Age of Exploration.
