Episode 10 - Taylor Steele, Solento Tequila

For today’s show I virtually met up with acclaimed surf filmmaker, artist and entrepreneur Taylor Steele about his newest endeavor, Solento Tequila (https://solentotequila.com/) based right out of Encinitas which you can actually already get in North County at Seaside Market, Lazy Acres Encinitas and Harvest Ranch Market.

Anyone who knows me outside this podcast knows I’m not a tequila person. In fact, I had not had even a drop of tequila since August of 1999, but because I’m at least semi-professional, and to show respect to my Cheers! guest, I decided it was time to give the agave based spirit a second chance. So in a moment, you’ll be an audio witness to my reintroduction to tequila with Taylor’s help, and then I’ll learn more about Solento’s efforts to create a high-quality, sustainable, organic tequila, Taylor’s connection to North County and his start filming some of his not yet famous surfing friends.
