She’s running for the senate seat opening in District 36 which stretches along the Coast from just north of Solana Beach up to Laguna Nigel.  I wanted to talk to Dr. Bhat-Patel, about why she was launching her campaign so early, how she got started in politics and how her current role in City Council is preparing her for the senate, and finally why it is important to have voices in politics from a wide range of backgrounds.
