Boob Armour was born after Suzie underwent a series of tests for breast cancer, which fortunately came back negative. During the process Suzie’s surgeon asked her whether she had experienced breast trauma before. Curiosity got the better of her and she took it upon herself to do some research, particularly in sport and she discovered many women and girls playing contact sport sustained breast injuries when only wearing a sports bra, and often the resultant lumps would present as cancer.
