Emma Thomson is the Founder of Pitch it Up Cricket.
Emma is an experienced medical scientist and Sales Project Manager and previously worked in the healthcare industry for 25 years.
She founded Pitch It Up Cricket in 2021 after becoming a cricket mum and bowling to her son in the backyard.
She realised that there was a big gap in the bowling machine market for young kids and she took it upon herself to solve the problem, creating a cricket training aid for children as young as Grade 3.
The business is now flying, with major cricket and sporting goods retailers around Australia hopping on board, as well as schools and clubs.
She has also recently developed a product for visually impaired cricketers and is working with key stakeholders in the modified sports industry.
