In this episode, I invite my partner Joshua on the podcast to talk about overcoming fear of the unknown & letting go of control.

When we were doing long-distance in different states, it was tough. We were in a season of limbo for a very long time, not knowing if we’d ever be able to have our forever. But we still chose each other, regardless of the risk of it never working out.

We’ll be sharing what we did to let go of the outcome and enjoy each other without being overcome by fear and sadness.

In this episode:

  • Why we decided to do long-distance even though there was a high likelihood that it wouldn’t work out
  • Why trusting the process is so hard
  • How to let go of control and lean into moments of fear
  • How to identify if emotion is from a wounded/broken part of ourselves or our true authentic self
  • How to recognize and separate yourself from fear
  • How to take personal accountability so that you don’t push your partner away
  • How to focus on inner work and use difficult seasons as tools for healing and growth
