SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Life is waiting for
you each day, and you have to
(00:02):
prepare for each challenge alongthe way toward success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my Common SenseMotivation Episodes.
I'm Chris FantasticPow.
Demand a result, not a reason.
There comes a point in everyperson's life when they must
make a decision that defines whothey are and who they're
(00:25):
becoming.
And that decision is this.
Will I settle for reasons orwill I demand results?
You see, reasons are easy.
Reasons slide right into yourdaily life without knocking.
I'm tired, I'm busy, I'll do ittomorrow.
These things take time.
My situation is different.
(00:47):
We dress them up, we justifythem, we polish them so that we
can live with them.
But results, results require aversion of you that excuses
cannot survive.
When you demand a result, yousend a message, a signal, not
just to your mind, not just toyour habits, but to your entire
life that you're no longeraccepting the minimum.
(01:10):
You're no longer flirting withpotential.
You're stepping into purpose.
When you demand a result, youstop operating like a volunteer
in your own life.
You become the CEO of youreffort, the captain of your
consistency, and the architectof your future.
Reasons keep you explaining, butresults keep you evolving.
(01:33):
And here's the truth many peoplenever face.
Every result you don't have issitting behind a reason you
decided to use, and it's not theuniverse working against you.
It's just a reason you believedinstead of the result you were
capable of.
But when you flip the switch, when you tell yourself no more
reasons, give me results,everything changes.
(01:56):
Your discipline sharpens, yourplanning becomes intentional,
your energy gets real focused, your heart beats with purpose,
your actions grow teeth, yourcommitment becomes louder than
your doubt.
Because demanding a resultdoesn't mean life will suddenly
get easy, it means that you getstronger than the obstacles that
(02:17):
used to stop you.
It means you do it tired, you doit unsure, you do it scared, you
do it when no one's cheering, you do it when the old you
whispers, just give up.
You don't.
Why?
Because you mature into someonewho understands this principle.
Results don't come from wishing, they come from working.
(02:38):
Results don't come from wanting, they come from deciding.
Results don't come from trying, they come from demanding.
And when you demand somethingfrom your life, your life starts
delivering things you oncethought were out of reach.
This is the mindset ofchampions, this is the attitude
of leaders, this is the engineof success.
(03:00):
So today, not tomorrow and notnext week, raise your standard.
Set the expectation, draw theline, tell your excuses they're
fired.
Then show up like a person whorefuses to negotiate their
goals.
Because when you demand aresult, you become the kind of
person who gets one.
(03:21):
Make it happen.
