Every day he showed up to theland where he laid his
foundation.
Brick by brick, he worked, butevery time he got momentum, the
breeze came, the breeze ofdistraction.
Sometimes it was people pullinghim away, Sometimes it was his

(02:57):
own thoughts, telling him torest.
Sometimes it was just bored andwhispering you can finish later
.
And some days he listened.
He walked away for just aminute, only to lose an hour.
He said tomorrow.
And he lost a week.
Then one day an older man walkedby and asked is this your
foundation?
Been seeing it sit here formonths, Thought you gave up.

(03:20):
Eddie stood still.
That hit him deep.
He went home, looked in themirror and said to himself I
didn't come this far to leave ithalf built.
The next morning the breezecame again, but this time he
didn't flinch.
He kept laying bricks, he keptswinging the hammer, he kept
showing up and before long thehouse stood tall.

(03:41):
People call it impressive.
But Eddie smiled and said thiswas built one decision at a time
