SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Life is waiting for you each day, and you have to

(00:02):
prepare for each challenge alongthe way toward success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my common sensemotivation episodes.
I'm Chris FantasticPow.
Emotions are like the weather.
Let me tell you something.
Emotions are like the weather.
They can change at any moment.

(00:23):
One day you wake up to sunshine, full of energy and full of hope,
and the next, a storm rolls outof nowhere.
But that's life.
And just like you can't stop therain, you can't stop emotions
from showing up.
But here's the truth.
You don't have to live in thestorm.
Too many people let emotionsdecide the direction of their

(00:44):
day.
They let anger rewrite theirdecisions.
They let sadness rewrite theirstory.
They let fear become their GPS.
And when that happens, commonsense, that quiet, steady voice
inside gets drowned out by allthe emotional noise.
You see, emotions are temporaryvisitors.
They come to tell you somethingto make you aware of what's

(01:06):
going on inside, but they're notsupposed to unpack their bags
and move in.
Common sense, right thinking, that's your anchor.
It's what keeps you groundedwhen the emotional winds start
to blow.
It's the difference betweenreacting and responding.
Let me make it clear for you.
Think about a pilot flyingthrough a storm.

(01:28):
The clouds are thick, visibilityis gone, and turbulence is
shaking the plane.
And if the pilot flies byemotions, panic will take over.
But if the pilot flies byinstruments, by training, by
logic, by what's true and notwhat's felt, they get through
the storm safely.
Your life works the same way.

(01:49):
The storm may shake you, but ifyou trust your internal
instruments, your discipline, your wisdom, your common sense,
you'll always find clear skiesagain.
When you let emotions run yourlife, they will take you in a
ride you didn't sign up for.
You'll say things you don'tmean, you'll quit things you
shouldn't have.
You'll walk away from people oropportunities meant for you to

(02:12):
grow.
But when you pause, when youbreathe, when you think before
you move, that's when growthhappens.
That's when you start masteringyour emotions instead of being
mastered by them.
Understand this.
It's okay to feel deeply, you'rehuman.
Feelings are proof that you'realive, but feelings were never

(02:32):
designed to lead you.
Let your emotions be yourpassengers, not your drivers.
Common sense, that's thedriver's seat.
That's where strength lives.
The people who rise to greatnessaren't those who never feel
pain, frustration, or doubt.
They're the ones who feel it andstill do what's right.

(02:52):
They lead with clarity, notchaos.
They respond with wisdom, notimpulse.
They keep moving even when theemotional storm isn't perfect.
So the next time you wake up inan emotional storm, remember
this.
Storms don't last forever.
The sun will shine again, theclouds will break, and peace

(03:14):
will return.
But don't let a temporaryemotion cause a permanent
decision.
Stay grounded.
Think straight and leadyourself.
Because life will test youremotions, but it's your
discipline and common sense thatwill prove your strength.
Make it happen.
I'm Chris Fantastic Powell.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
