SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Life is waiting for
you each day, and you have to
(00:02):
prepare for each challenge alongthe way toward success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my common sensemotivation episodes.
I'm Chris FantasticPow.
I saw this post by Options King, and it hit me like bricks
because it's the root of whatsuccessful thinking is not.
(00:24):
It read If money and materialthings make you feel superior,
then you're already the poorestperson alive.
Let me ask you something.
What really makes you rich?
Is it the size of your bankaccount or the size of your
heart?
Is it the car in your drivewayor the character in your soul?
(00:46):
Is it the label in your clothesor the label people give you
when your name comes up?
See, here's the truth.
If money and material things arethe only reasons you feel
important, then you're alreadythe poorest person alive.
And when those things become thesource of your identity, when
they make you feel superior tosomeone else, that's when you've
(01:09):
missed the real meaning of life.
Don't get me wrong, there'snothing wrong with money.
There's nothing wrong with nicethings.
I believe in hard work and insuccess, in building wealth that
can bless your family, yourfriends, and others around you.
Because money can buy comfort, but it can't buy character.
(01:30):
It can buy attention, but itcan't buy respect.
It can buy a crowd, but it can'tbuy true love, loyalty, or
trust.
I've met people who've hadnothing in their pockets, but
everything in their spirits.
They were rich in gratitude, rich in kindness, rich in
wisdom.
(01:51):
And I've met others who hadmillions in the bank, but they
were broke in joy, broke inpeace, and broke in purpose.
Which one would you rather be?
When you feel like your worth istied to material things, you're
chasing a shadow that disappearsthe moment the lights go out.
(02:12):
What happens when the car breaksdown?
When the house loses its shine?
When the money dries up?
If your confidence leaves withit, then it wasn't confidence at
all.
It was an illusion.
But real wealth, real wealth iswhen you can smile without a
reason, when you can love peoplewithout judgment, when you can
(02:35):
stand tall even when life stripsaway what's temporary because
you know your value was never inthe things it was always in you.
There were seasons in my lifewhen I thought success meant
stacking things, proving toothers that I was somebody.
But the truth hit me hard.
If I needed stuff to feel like Imattered, then I truly didn't
(02:58):
know my worth yet.
My breakthrough came when Irealized I didn't need to own
more to be more.
I just needed to walk inpurpose.
And purpose never goes broke.
So don't let things define you.
Don't let money tell you who youare.
Let your actions, yourintegrity, your love for others,
(03:21):
your discipline, yourconsistency, and your kindness
that makes you rich.
Because the day will come whenthe money fades, when the
material things don't shine, when people can't see your car,
your house, your jewelry.
But what they see is yourimpact.
Did you lift others?
Did you inspire?
(03:42):
Did you leave fingerprints ofkindness on the world?
That's the kind of wealth nobank can hold and no thief can
steal.
So remember this.
If money and material thingsmake you feel superior, you're
already poor.
But if love, purpose, discipline, and contribution
fuels you, then you're alreadythe richest person alive.
(04:06):
That's not just success, that'slegacy.
Make it happen.
