SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Life is waiting for you each day, and you have to

(00:02):
prepare for each challenge alongthe way toward success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my Common SenseMotivation Episodes.
I'm Chris FantasticPow.
The Conversations You Have inYour Mind.
Overcoming You Dedicated to myDad, a man who's walked through

(00:23):
more storms than most couldimagine and still finds a
strength to smile, fight, andkeep going.
Every one of us hasconversations in our mind, that
constant back and forth betweenwho we are and what we want to
be.
It's that voice that says youshould get up and move, and the
other one that answers, but I'mtired.

(00:45):
It's that tug of war betweenwhat we know we need to do and
the story we tell ourselves tojustify not doing it.
Sometimes that conversationsounds logical.
It sounds gentle.
It sounds like it's protectingyou.
But let's be honest, that innervoice isn't always your friend.

(01:07):
It's the smooth talking versionof mister Excuses or Mr.
Lazy teaming up to convince youthat later is a good plan.
Later is never a good planbecause later becomes never.
The real fight isn't out therein the world.
It's not with other people, deadlines or circumstances.

(01:28):
The real fight happens rightbetween your ears, in your own
mind.
That's where every dream is bornor buried.
You see, discipline doesn'tstart in the body, it starts in
the belief.
You can't get your body movinguntil your mind decides to move
first.
That's why so many peoplestruggle, because they're

(01:49):
waiting for motivation insteadof mastering the mental
conversation that creates it.
My dad is over eighty five yearsold, still teaches me this
without saying a word.
He's lived long enough tounderstand that life doesn't
always go the way you want it,but you can always go the way
you need.

(02:10):
He's overcome challenges, illness, and the kind of battles
that break weaker spirits.
Yet he still gets up.
He still tries, he still talkshimself into doing what's
necessary to stay healthy, bothphysically, mentally, and
emotionally.
That's not luck, that'sdiscipline.

(02:31):
That's decisions, that's dailyvictory.
He doesn't chase comfort, hechases commitment.
And that's a reminder for all ofus.
Age doesn't define your drive, your choices do.
Ask yourself this.
What are you telling yourselfevery day?
Are you talking yourself intogrowth or out of it?

(02:52):
Those internal conversationsmatter.
Every I'll do it later stills apiece of your strength.
Every I can't builds a wallbetween you and your potential.
But every let's go, every onemore time, every one more rep,
every keep moving, that's youbuilding momentum, brick by

(03:13):
brick, moment by moment.
The truth is we're all fightingthe same fight, the one between
comfort and commitment, betweendreaming and doing, between
knowing what's right and doingwhat's right.
If you want to live a betterlife, you've got to win those
conversations.
You've got to tell your mindwhat to think, not let it tell

(03:36):
you what to feel.
You want to read more, startwith one page.
You want to move more, take thefirst step.
You want to grow stronger?
Say yes to effort and no toexcuses.
And every time you choosediscipline over doubt, you build
a stronger you.
Every time you silence the lazyvoice, you let the real you, the

(03:58):
powerful, driven, capable you,rise up.
The hardest person you'll everhave to overcome is the one
staring back at you in themirror.
But when you win that battle, everything else in life becomes
possible.
So today and every day, talkyourself into your greatness,
because a conversation in yourmind will always lead you in the

(04:23):
direction of your life.
Win the conversation, overcomeyou, make it happen.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
