SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Life is waiting for you each day, and you have to

(00:02):
prepare for each challenge alongthe way toward success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my common sensemotivation episodes.
I'm Chris FantasticPow.
To improve means to change.
Let's be real for a second.
Improvement isn't magic, luck,or talent.

(00:24):
Improvement is change.
And most people want theimprovement without the change.
They want the results but won'tadjust the routine.
They want the destination butrefuse to change direction.
Today, you make a decision mostpeople never make.
You choose change on purpose.
Every breakthrough, every levelup, every how did it do that

(00:48):
moment in someone's life, it'sall started with one simple
decision.
I refuse to stay the same.
Here's a short story.
The boy and the old bridge.
There's a story about a youngboy who wanted to learn how to
run faster.
Every day he sprinted across anold wooden bridge near his

(01:08):
house.
One day an old man sitting bythe river asked, Why do you keep
running the same way across thesame bridge?
The boy said Because I want toget better.
The old man smiled.
To get better, stop running theold way.
Confused the boy walked to theside of the bridge and noticed
something he never saw before,an uneven plank right where he

(01:31):
always slowed down.
It had tripped him up for weeks, but he kept pushing harder
instead of changing hisapproach.
The next day he shifted hisstride, adjusted his angle,
changed his focus, and for thefirst time he outran his own
best time.
The bridge didn't change, hislife didn't change, he changed,

(01:55):
and that made all the differencein his world.
If you want something better, you must become someone better,
not a new person, a betterversion of the person you
already are.
Change your habits, change yourfocus, change your direction,
and watch how fast your lifestarts to respond.

(02:15):
Because improvement doesn't justhappen, it's chosen.
And the moment you choose tochange, your life has no choice
but to follow.
Make it happen.
I'm Chris Fantastic Powell.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
