Speaker 1 (00:00):
Life is waiting for
you each day and you have to
prepare for each challenge alongthe way towards success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my Common SenseMotivation episodes.
I'm Chris Fantastic Powell.
Weakness doesn't need permission, just space.
Weakness is the quiet enemy.
(00:20):
It doesn't need a formal invite, it doesn't ask is this a good
time?
It shows up unannounced.
Weakness doesn't knock, itdoesn't wait.
It just needs room.
A little gap in your focus, acrack in your commitment and
boom, it moves in like it ownsthe place.
All it needs is space Space inyour mind, in your routine, in
(00:44):
your discipline, and it knowsexactly where to hide.
Weakness hangs around peoplewithout goals.
It thrives in those driftingthrough life with no target.
It creeps in when you're tired, when you're distracted, when
you're unmotivated, when youstart telling yourself I deserve
a break, instead of saying I'vegot work to do, but don't get
(01:05):
it twisted.
Weakness isn't just after thosewho haven't started their
journey, it's also after thosewho have already made it.
It's taken down.
Champions who thought the racewas over, who got comfortable,
satisfied and stopped standingguard.
Great relationships, businessopportunities which started off
great have fallen.
(01:26):
Success doesn't make you immuneto weakness.
In fact, it makes you a biggertarget, because success often
brings comfort, and comfortcreates the space where weakness
lives and breathes.
Many people have reached theirgoals and lost everything.
Why?
Because they got satisfied, they stopped aiming, they let
(01:48):
their guard down, they put thesword down when the battle
wasn't over.
Success is not the finish line,it's just another checkpoint.
The mission isn't just to win,it's to sustain the win, to
protect it, to grow it, to honorit, to appreciate it.
So how do you keep weaknessfrom taking over?
You keep aiming, you staycommitted.
(02:10):
You build a life of integrity, not just when people are
watching, but especially whenthey're not.
Without integrity, purposestarts to fade.
You fill yourself withself-belief, the kind that
doesn't beg for validation, thekind that wakes up ready to
fight again.
You wear confidence, notarrogance, because confidence
(02:32):
says I can and arrogance says Ialready did.
And that's when weaknessstrikes the hardest.
You must hold on to humilityand remember what it costs you.
You must hold on to humilityand remember what it costs you.
Without humility, successbecomes eagle, because the
moment you forget, you becomevulnerable.
You stay rooted in purposebecause, without it, goals
(02:55):
become trophies, not tools.
And, most of all, you makeintegrity your foundation, not
your strategy your foundation, because without integrity, your
success is a house built in sand.
You can build an empire, but ifyou lose focus, if you lose
humility, if you let go ofpurpose, if you bend your
(03:16):
integrity, even once, that sameempire can crumble in silence.
And without discipline, thelife you built can fall faster
than it rose.
So let this be a daily reminderWeakness doesn't need your
permission.
It just needs your permissionto stop paying attention.
Don't give it that chance.
(03:37):
Guard your space, protect yourpurpose, stay committed, stay
humble and keep moving withdiscipline.
And don't let your greatest winbecome your biggest loss.
Don't let the dream you'veworked for become the very thing
weakness uses to destroy you.
You didn't come this far tofall short.
(03:57):
Make it happen.
