Ever wonder why we chase answers while ignoring those who already have them? Wisdom stands quietly waiting for those humble enough to listen, carrying answers for those bold enough to ask questions. True wisdom comes from lived experience - the blood, sweat, failure, and perseverance that can guide us if we're willing to learn.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Life is waiting for you each day and you have to
prepare for each challenge alongthe way towards success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my Common SenseMotivation episodes.
I'm Chris Fantastic Powell.
Why does no one listen towisdom anymore?
It's a question that continuesto echo in my mind.

(00:22):
We chase success, we pray fordirection, we beg for answers,
and yet we ignore the one voicethat already walked the road.
We're trying to figure outWisdom, not the kind you get
from a quote on a coffee mug ora social media reel.
I'm talking about real wisdom, the kind that has lived through

(00:44):
storms.
I'm talking about real wisdom, the kind that has lived through
storms, crawled through darknessand still found the strength to
stand.
The kind that earned itsstripes through blood, sweat,
failure and perseverance.
That's wisdom.
See, wisdom is not justknowledge.
It's not just good advice.
Wisdom is experience that hasbeen tested.
It's the result of countlessmistakes, late nights, broken

(01:15):
dreams, tough lessons, and stillchose to rise.
Wisdom has been where you'retrying to go.
It's already taken the stepswe're afraid to take.
It's already faced the fears wethink we're too big to beat.
It's already fallen in the veryplaces we're trying to stand
tall and because of that, wisdomcarries something powerful that
most of us are too distractive, too prideful or too impatient
to access.

(01:35):
It carries answers.
But here's the thing Wisdomdoesn't force itself on anyone.
It doesn't demand attention orshout over the noise.
It stands quietly in the cornerof life, arms folded, backpack
on, waiting, waiting for someonewith humility and hunger to ask

(01:55):
the right question, waiting forsomeone bold enough to listen.
Inside that backpack isexperience.
Inside that experience are thekeys to the doors.
You're trying to kick down thepiece.
You can't seem to find theshortcuts.
You've been wasting timechasing the understanding you've
been praying for, but mostpeople they'll scroll past it.

(02:19):
They'll talk to someone withzero experience before they sit
down with someone who hasalready lived it.
They'd rather fumble through itthemselves than learn from
someone else's pain.
Why?
Because listening to wisdomrequires humility, and humility
is rare.
It means admitting you don'tknow everything.

(02:39):
It means being coachable.
It means slowing down when theworld says speed up and that's
not popular.
But for those who do listen towisdom, life changes, doors open
, mistakes shrink and growthbecomes accelerated.
So I ask you, are you seekinganswers while ignoring the

(03:02):
person who already has them?
Are you running towards successbut leaving behind the guide
who could walk you there fasterand wiser.
Wisdom is waiting.
It's not hiding, it's not outof reach.
It's just waiting for someoneready to respect the journey
it's already been through.
And when you finally choose tosit down with wisdom, you'll

(03:24):
realize it was never the paththat was confusing.
It was your refusal to listento the one who had already
traveled it.
Make it happen.
I'm Chris Fantastic Powell.
