Building a life without preparation is like constructing a house without a roof, leaving you exposed to whatever life throws at you. Would you spend time and money building a beautiful house but leave the roof off? Of course not!

Why would you build a house withno roof?
Let me ask you something Wouldyou ever spend time, money and

energy building a beautifulhouse but leave the roof off?
Of course not, Because withouta roof, you're exposed.
Anything can blow in Rain, wind, dirt, even things that don't
belong there.
Yet so many people are livingtheir lives exactly like that
Building without protection,without preparation, without the

tools they need to keep theirlife secure.
I hear it all the time myparents, or no one, showed me
enough love.
I was never taught confidence,no one ever showed me discipline
, work ethic, patience orcourage.
I was never taught self-esteem,I never felt important.
And on and on.

These excuses continue, and youknow what.
That might be all true, you maynot have been given those tools
, but here's the reality.
Once you're grown, once yourealize what you're missing,
it's on you to build what'smissing, Because if you don't,
you're walking through life withno roof, letting in the

attitudes, the excuses, missedopportunities and the wrong
people you see, once you knowwhat's missing in your life, you
no longer have an excuse.
You have a responsibility.
You have the power to learndiscipline, to practice courage,
to build self-esteem, todevelop a worth ethic that

nothing can shake.
Nobody can stop you fromputting that roof on, except you
.
The problem is too many.
Turn to the wrong solutions, tosubstances, distractions or
broken people to fill the gap.
But that's just like patchingyour roof with paper towels it
won't hold up when the stormcomes.

So hear me today Stop using yourpast as a permanent excuse.
Build it now.
Fix what you know you'remissing.
Prepare yourself before youtake the next step so when the
storms of life come and theywill come you'll still be
standing strong, safe and readyfor the next chapter, Because

you can't control the house youwere born into, but you have
full control over the one you'rebuilding now.
