The edge of opportunity can feel comfortable—close enough to dream, far enough to avoid risk.  The mental traps that keep us seated on the sidelines, the search for a safe leap, the myth of the perfect moment, and the false promise that more time will erase doubt.

SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Life is waiting for you each day, and you have to

(00:02):
prepare for each challenge alongthe way toward success.
It's not simple, but it can bedone.
Welcome to my common sensemotivation episodes.
I'm Chris FantasticPow.
Your leap that could changeeverything.
If you've never leaped, you'llnever know what you can do.
Too many of us sit on the edgeof opportunity, staring at the

(00:25):
gap between where we are andwhere we could be, frozen by
fear.
We tell others, maybe tomorrow, maybe when I'm ready, maybe when
it's safe.
But let me tell you, there's nosuch thing as a safe leap.
A leap is always uncertain, andthat's the point.

(00:45):
History proves in a few examplesof people who leaped.
William H.
Dungy, imagine electrictransportation when people
laughed at such an idea.
Granville Woods built thefoundation for the electric
railway system.
When the world said it couldn'tbe done.
Gladys West, her brilliance gaveus the mathematical model for

(01:05):
GPS technology.
Think about that.
Without their leap, we wouldstill be lost, literally.
What if they had listened tofear?
What if they had stood stillinstead of stepping forward?
Imagine how much darker, slower, and less connected the world
would be today.
Their courage became oureveryday convenience, their leap

(01:28):
became our progress.
And here's the truth.
Your leap might not change thewhole world, but it will change
your world.
The job you've been afraid toapply for, the book you've been
hesitant to write, the businessyou've been sitting on, the
relationship you've been holdingback from, none of these things

(01:51):
will ever unfold if you staygrounded in fear.
Leaping doesn't guarantee you'llland exactly where you want.
But leaping does guarantee thisyou will not stay stuck.
The leap teaches you, itstretches you, it shows you what
standing still never could.
Even if you fall, you fallforward, and forward is

(02:13):
progress.
Life is not waiting for you tobe ready.
Opportunity does not knock twicewith the same sound.
And courage is not the absenceof fear, it's moving in spite of
it.
So here's the challenge.
Leap.
Leap toward the unknown, leaptoward the dream, leap toward

(02:34):
the version of you that's beenwhispering inside your heart.
I can do more, I was made formore.
Because if you never leap, you'll never know the strength
you have, the vision you carry, and the heights where you're
meant to reach.
It's your leap that changeseverything.
Make it happen.
I'm Chris Fantastic Powell.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
