In this episode, Jenn Hook, author and founder/executive director of Replanted, joins us to discuss how churches can support and care well for foster and adoptive families in their community. We talk about where churches need to begin on the road to becoming trauma-informed and what it takes for church leadership to be "all in."

Jenn and her husband Josh wrote Thriving Families, a guidebook to help families as they care for vulnerable children. Drawing on the latest science and research on trauma, attachment, sensory processing difficulties, cultural competence, and grief and loss, the book provides a trauma-informed approach to help adoptive and foster families.
