It's just interesting. But enough about the rebrand. I'm going
(01:26):
to introduce her. I guess you might recognize the space,
but hello Brad and welcome back.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Hey Brendon, I'm glad to be back.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Thanks for the invites, especially kicking off the rebrand. Dude,
I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yeah, and I know that was a lot of information
at once about the rebrand. Guys, I'm sorry. I'm just
so excited about it, but I don't have the time
to talk about all the exciting things I'm working on.
Just say, heads up, this is our first episode in
a while. I'll still be posting some of my older
episodes before after this one has recorded and everything in
Refordery band, I just have to catch up posting after episodes.
(01:58):
But we're back in the full swing of things. Is
the first episode I'm recording. We're around April thirtieth. This
is the first episode I'm recording. That's February, so no wow.
But Breandon, it's really great to see your face back.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Definitely always blessed to be a part of the Christmas
Breast podcast. Off back on talk about music and just
cheering you on. Seeing all that you've done, all the
artist interviews, all people connect to it. It's always a
joy to see. So I love it man.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
And this is your first time back. Okay, i'd say
second time back this year as we're talking about, but
the first time with the new rebrand.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Indeed that it is. Yes, it's been a little bit
so yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
And today Brennan and I will be talking about our
favorite releases in Christian music so far this year, what's
to come and what owns we think is to come later.
There's some things I've been announced and there's some things
that haven't been announced that we're going to just take
a random guest that's gonna be a and for those
who are watching, if you like what Yournlight, follow, subscribe.
Also comment what are some of your favorite releases this
year or what you're looking forward to or if there's
(02:56):
something we didn't bring up that we missed common those too,
just about the listeners and know mm hmm. So we're
gonna starting off nice and easy. Where now, like I said,
at the time of recording this episode, April thirty, if
we're probably gonna be about halfway through May when this
comes out. Episode comes out, So I'm just finding you know,
if this is from perspective, So if you're wondering, like, hey,
this is already out or this is not out yet,
this is April thirty if I'm recording this, but let's
(03:18):
just start nice and easy. Let's talk about someone For
the new releases this year, we just had Stephen Stanley's
new album, trust Fall, which I think it was way
better than his first album. Not far his debut album
is gonna be tough to be but I think this
album just beat it out of the water by like
eight hundred thousand times literally.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah, like his first ALBN blew both of us away
in this album. I don't know if I would say
it's better than the first one, but they're both mind blowing.
This album it is such a powerful just step in
the right direction, Like he literally did it again and
I'm still blown away, Like this is one of my
favorite albums that have come out in a while.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Stephen Stanley, This one, it's just incredible.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
What is your favorite song off the album?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Secure ooh, so I bounce back and forth right now,
it's the title track, trust Fall, because it is just
so deeply emotional. It's power, It's got such a great message.
It feels kind of like where I've been from his
last album. It's just such a great one that really
ties up the album well. I love the rock vibes
on all of it, signs from this far down. Just
(04:12):
so many songs on this album. It's just literally a
masterpiece of an album.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Personally for me, I like the song I Still Have You.
It was like a song to his daughter in a way,
but it was also like how Jesus is watching over us,
like he was watching over his daughter. So it's like
cause Jesus, He's reflected Jesus to his daughter and everything.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Definitely, that album is just full of so much emotion
just all around, like it's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
And my other favorite is Your Heart. It's just like
different Steve Stalley, Like it was a completely different style.
I when I'm used to you're used to like the
like rock screaming now like medical or screaming, but just
like him like screaming his vocals and it's just really
unique to see this album. And I talked a little
bit about this album with Stephen Stanley, So if you
haven't watched the episode, I would recommend checking it out.
(04:55):
It was before the album released, so you're gonna hear
some things that he might not Some of the things
on an album that we just talked about you might not
hear in our interview because the album was or interview
was wadyfore an album came out. But he's not on
tour too, so I would recommend checking out that tour. Oh, Jason,
are you going to that tour?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
I'm gonna try to. Yes.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I saw him I think a few years ago in
Nashville and it was such a good show, so I'm
gonna try to see him again this year.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
I wanted to go to the tour, but at the
time of recording this episode, it's the Saturday, and I've
worked this weekend and I don't think I can get there.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
So that sucks.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
But also on top of Steven Stanley, we're going to
the transition to another Capitol Records. We had Toby Max's
new album Heaven on my mind. What did you think
about that?
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Evan?
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Yeah? What do you think on that album?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Not Evan, It was a solid album actually, Like I
was wondering, especially with a lot of the previous singles,
and it's not my cup of tea in some areas,
but in some ways I love this album. It's got
so many good songs, especially Keep the Devil Away featuring
Terry and Can't Stop Me. Those two songs really blew
my mind. This album's like still very solid. Toby Max
still does what he does, and he released like a
(06:01):
song afterwards head Online feature Enforced Frank, which I think
really held the vibe together even better. Like this is
still a solid release. Tobby Mack is a legend. He
just continues to put out in music that just blows
everyone away. So it was a solid album.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
I liked that song, God did it that even though
I made a meme and page. I don't know if
you already mean the Spider Man point meme, like we
had like Sun and Sunday to put it out. A
song called God did it. Micha Tyler did Anthony Mack
and they all came out within like two weeks of
each other. So it was like the Spider Man name.
I would show it on the screen, but I have
to go deep die for it. But I also like,
sorry the names up my mind, but remind I can't
(06:36):
remember the name of the song top my head. Oh
my gosh, I had it written down and I forgot
Please stand by. I f had Elevator music. I'll play
Elevator music right now. But we're going to go into
Toby Mac. I like, you know what what's called. It's
one of the singles, which is the sad thing. This
is what happened. I get so many songs in my
head and my brain just explodes.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Oh wow, Yeah, I fully get that life of music
fans but can't stop me hyeh.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Kind of reminded me of like a part two of
Love Broke throughout my.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Opinion, mm hm oh yeah. Definitely.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
It's got a cinematic vibe also a little bit of
the elements vibe, like it's just such a good one.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I really love that one. That was when my highlights.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Listen to that, and I think we're gonna get a
DUCS part of this album here at the Identity. I
think there's gonna be a DALCS album, like he said
he just released Having on My Mind before st Frying.
I think they're gonna do like maybe I had like
three or four tracks, kind of like what Jeremy Camps
just did with Deeper Waters back here in twenty twenty three.
He had two or three songs that he had in
One was a feature of Brandy ray on These Days.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Oh yes, indeed, I wouldn't be surprised that al too
mac Love's collaboration. He loves just keeping everyone updated with music,
so it would be really cool to see that.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Okay, I coached two albums. Now, do you have any
other favorite albums you ever listened to yet? This year
there's been so many so and there's been a lot
of like newer albums that we can kind of transition
into two. This is a good time. Maybe if just
because she's been making a big face, I know we
kind of talk, she's not almost accopletely out, but the
new singles are out Katie and Coles. The album sounds
(08:05):
really good so far from what I've been hearing.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Yes, from what I've heard of it. There's a couple
of singles that have been released. I've also got to
hear a little bit of it that's not been released yet.
And the albums incredible. Her first one, I think was
one of the highlights of that year, and this album
blows that out of the water. It's like, kind of
like Stephen Stanley, both of them are just masterpiece of albums.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
K Nicole's the same way. This new album.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
It's so raw, it's so emotional, it's so beautiful, and
it's an honest prayer, honest anthems for believers and those
who are struggling with their faith. Like I'm just blown away, honestly,
how well of an album this is. Like it's gonna
be mind blown when it comes out.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
And I just announced are I just talked about it.
But Honest Conversation is a great song off the album too,
Like that was like all the questions she asks or
says in the song too, And it's just like shows
a real emotional sign of music and everything. And that's
kind of where my I guess this is a good time.
The transition for quick second is where to rebrands coming
(09:01):
Like those conversations like she just had in that song
is kind of where I want to get with this podcast,
Like emotional conversations like that.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Oh definitely, yeah, And I love that, like music is
just going in that direction and looking for raw, vulnerable
stories that are just honest with people and their fate
and their struggles. Like so much music is going towards
that direction.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
I love that that.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
It's great that we have platforms like Christmas Girl's podcasts
where we can highlight that we can come together and
just get that encouragement that we all need these moments.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
And one is Kiddie n the close album expected to release.
I don't know to release at my head? Do you
have any idea is that this year?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Like I think it's like September. I heard August, I know, September, August,
September like one of the later summer months and all that.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Indeed, Yes, so that's gonna be an amazing album.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Yes, And don't be surprised if she really says another
single or tude coming with the album.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
So she has a few coming up soon actually, including
Thorns and a few other songs, so they're gonna be amazing.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
To he and another upcoming album. Katie Nicole did a
clob with them, but Big Daddy, we've had their new
album Why It began coming out in about two or
three weeks from the time of recording this episode, and
I know God is in the stories of that album
as well, And it was also Katie Nicole selling thigh
It's it'd be a great time to transition into that
album as well. Have you always in any of the
singles off the album. I think that's one of their
(10:21):
more brawl and realist albums, especially after they're passing up
to tragic passing of Jay Weaver. This is the first
album without Jay Weaver as a member of the band.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Indeed, Yeah, which is I love that they're still doing
music and all the singles they put out I've highly enjoyed,
and this album looks like it's just a beautiful collection
of trusting God in the middle of what happens and
just really going on to the next season. Like their
tour they've been doing. I heard so many amazing stories
from that with Ben Fuller, Megan Woods as part of
that and just hearing all the testimonies in this album,
(10:51):
I'm excited to listen to it, to dive into these
songs and really just hear the truth of it. Big
Dad We has just always been such a ministry. It's
a band, and even after the tragic passing, I think
this album is gonna be a really powerful collection to
their all the collection, so it's gonna be exciting.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
In the title track, what it begin is a really
has been made waves all over the radio haven't changed.
Everything's been made in waves on radio. So like all
these songs, I've been making waves on radio, which is
amazing to see. And they just released a new single
I've seen just I've just seen too much or I've
seen too much. I can't remember exact wording of it
on my head. Like I said, this is what you
get when I have eight hundred thousand songs in my head.
(11:26):
Don't even ask to see my CD question and you
if you get point out of CD, I can maybe
like one or two songs off that album. Just have
so many, Brandon, that's how crazy by Christian music.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
CD question is literally yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
But the new their new singles really well too, and
the collaboration with Megan Woods and Ben Fuller with What
a Beginner has been really good too, So it's just
really cool to see they have a The're on tour
with them and they also have a spot on this album.
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Definitely yeah, And it's their first album a long time,
so it's gonna be really cool.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
To see thinking coming to think about it, I think
their last album was about like so Beautiful Operations came
out in twenty eighteen, I want to say twenty seventeen,
twenty eighteen. Then they released Uh, Where the Light Comes
in twenty nineteen or twenty twenty, so I spent about
five years since we got their list album.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Been about five six years since last album. Yeah. Wow.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
And speaking of new albums, we brought up this name
already for Spranks just really announce the Realaes state of
his new album that's coming album May ninth as Child
of God too, So we have now just Child of
God and Child of God too, So we're gonna get
like say two albums and then one more or less.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
So m hmm, definitely, and this got this album is
gonna be packed twenty songs in total, which four s
Frank just continues to blow everyone away every time. He
knows how to go viral, he knows how to do
the songs that really impact this generation. So I'm excited for.
It's a fall of four Child of God. I'm excited
for after this series of Child of God, about what
comes next, how it style will continue to grow, continue
(12:54):
to hit with people. But this album alone is going
to be amazing and I'm excited for. It's going to
be the prob album.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
And I just got an email about the track list
and that's also in a collaboration. So we have that
song with Thomas already that's done out and there's also Lammably,
So he's getting collaborations again, and he always goes crazy
with these collaborations. I think some of his best songs
are the once he has collaborations with.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
I have to agree, yes, the collaborations are amazed, especially
last year doing it with Caine Tori Kelly.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
So it's exciting especially seeing that.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
And I would talk more about this album, but there's
not much about it right now, and I don't know
how much we can talk about it with but just
stay tuned. Forest Frank always blows people away. He's like
the biggest face in christ music. Right now outside of
Brandon Lake, which will lead to our next album. We
have Brandon Lake coming out with crap. I's like King
of Kings or something like that. King of Hearts. Sorry,
(13:46):
like I said, too many knowledges my name, but I
know I know who's releasing music. I just forget the
name of all these albums in my head. But we
had some really good songs off that album so far.
We had hart Ali, Louia and That's who I praise
are going to be off that album. Did you just
listen to his news night you released yesterday Daddy's Dna.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yes, I've heard the song for a few months now,
so listened to it finally released.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
It's just it's a beautiful song. It's so well done.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
It's got a little country vibe which brands lead into
a little bit. But this whole album, from all the
snidbits I've heard and clips I've heard, what I've heard from.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
People in the industry, it is amazing, is incredible.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Brandon Lake is just one of the top names that
with every album he does, it is just such an
anointed collection of songs that really impact not just our generation,
but all generations. So I'm so excited for this album.
It's going to be a landmark album. Hartba Hall Lou
is blown up way beyond what anyone of the clips
all coming. So I'm excited for it.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
And he's going on tour in the fall, so make
sure to check that out. Is Brandon Lake. It's the
kind of be the King of Hearts album art album tour.
It's kind of like a tour. So I saw him
in Grand Rappids last year. It was a great show.
But he's with Franny and Ray formerly or Franny Cash.
My bad have brand and Ray. I'm sorry it's Franny Cash.
But she goes by Fraaning Rae. I think she goes
by fraending Ray.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Now listen back and forth, I think.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Back she's formerly Weak the Kingdom, she'll be I wanted
to ask. And Paparett's gonna be another act at the
show too. Now they just announced Paparette. So I recommend
checking out Brandon Lake's album. There's rumors I don't know
if this is that is true, so don't shoot the
messenger by her. Rumors that Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll
might be doing a big concert tour. They got to
wreck at her arena. Like now an arena tour, but
like a stadium tour, so stay tuned for that. That
(15:19):
would be really cool to see just some mainstream artist
from Braine Lee and Brandaly's just making an impact everywhere.
Like you said, this new album is more country and
Brandon Lake is slowly going into that country mold but
it's just going really great.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Definitely.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yeah, And like his song Ryan Still is annoying, she
is ever and it's just a powerful collection with album songs.
I'm so excited to listen to this, Like literally, it's
gonna be jaw dropping everyone yours.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
And on top of that, Franny Ray Franny Ray Cash,
Brandy Cash. I think she's working on an album too,
so it's excited to see her. Like I guess, I
think this is her debut album. She would Redewa after
she stepped away from Leed to Kingdom, so that would
be exciting to see as well.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
De she just released her debut with Capitol Records, so
I'm really excited. Whether it's ape, whether it's an album,
it's gonna be amazing. She is such a talented artist
and her heart is just amazing, so it's gonna be
so cool. Gatting at wild Flowers is a stellar song,
so it's gonna be really awesome.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
And we have so many independent releases we could talk about.
But we love all your independent artists. But just for
the sake of this episode, we're just gonna be talking
about these big record label ones. Maybe we'll do another
episode with indie releases, but there's been so many big
indie releases lately too. Like Ray Graper is a friend
of ours. She's been releasing a new single I know
coming a few months. Yeah, so like it just I
(16:37):
don't want to go into two details, but the indie
because we could talk we would be talking about another
twenty minutes here. But looking into the future, well there
there's a lot of artists have really singles this year,
so such as Mercy Media release a song Oh Death.
Do you think they have an album coming out this year?
Speaker 3 (16:55):
I would assume so they just wrapping up their tour soon.
Oh Death is I think is really good. I wouldn't
be surprised if they released an album either towards the
end of the year or start of next year. So
you never know, we can might be able to seeing
that soon.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
And so I think they're one of the artists you'll
see a new album. I feel like you're gonna start
seeing new music from Michael Tyler against You, and I
think Michael Tower is one of those artists out He
hasn't officially announced like a new tour or a new
album or anything, but he just got off Winter Jam
and he had the song God did It that came
out just in time for Winter Jam and with Winter
Jam rapping or just wrap up like a couple of
(17:29):
months ago, that we can see a new album from
Michael Tyler this year.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Hmm, I think so too, which would be so cool
to see.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
He's this phenomenal artist in person all around, so it'll
be really cool.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
And I can see I was gonna say Caine could
be another artist to watch out for because they're releasing
new songs. But I can see Caleb and John if
you know, Caleb and John do tour with Kane all
the time and their brought or their friend duo. They're two.
They're a pop band duo. They're kind of reminded me
of Apollo Ltd.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
But yeah, the more of a like contemporary country kind
of vibe version of that.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yes, yes, but they're just two brother or not two
brother but two friends and they just make music together
and they just released a couple of singles this past year,
and they're going on tour with Cane right now into
Jesus Music Tour. Then they're going on tour with again
in the Live and Color Tour. So I feel like
Cavilem and John is one of those artists that are newer,
but you can see a new album coming out from
them this year as well.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Yeah, we also have John Reddick who's released on an
album soon No Fear, which I'm excited for. Singles he's
released for it's already been really cool. So this album
is definitely one to watch.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
And you already know how we're going into two detail.
We're going to get a new album from Elevation. Like
every year, we'll get a new Elevation album. Here the
Belonging to If you want some new worship, Belongao were
released a new album this year, so desk maybe definitely
don't work check it out. There's features from Hope Dars
and Danny Goki on that album.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Definitely.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Yes, I love their worship collections every year, so that's
super cool to see. Like Evlation always releases one you
get one from Plant Shakers every year. Have to throw
them out there because they're one of the fair bands.
But it worship for LEAs is there always coming out.
Hope Darts released to her album recently a few months
ago too, which was such a beautiful collection of worship songs.
So worship all around is always amazing.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
And yeah, okay, just we brought up a lot of
artists here, but just so one. It has been quiet
lately as any Mineo. I was gonna bring this one
up too. He's been dropping single like the single quietly,
but it's not like as popular as at once was.
I don't know what the word is. Like, he's still
relevant and popular, but like he's been dropping all quietly
and like people forget about him, like because he's just
(19:31):
been so quietly. But I think like we have a
new album from any Mineo coming out in a near
future too.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
I wouldn't be surprised. Yeah, I know, he definitely just
you know, welcome the birth of his daughter. But I
think he's got a new music coming out soon. He
just recently left Reach Records going independent, but I think
he's got a lot cooking up that's going to be
getting people's attentions.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Soon definitely, And another artist wasn't I can't think about artist.
I was gonna say, you can probably see new music.
Cats and Crowns is a hind hiatus fortunately, but I
was gonna say they could be working on a new
album too, because they've been quite but I think they're
on a little break right now. They'n announced around a
little break right now. But phil Wickham is another one
(20:10):
that's having a working on a new album right now
as we speak, and him and Brandon Lake do a
lot of touring. They got already have the Summer Worship
Nights tour and that's Philim has a new album coming
out and everything.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Mm hmm, oh definitely, yeah, I'm excited for that. His
version of you Know Awesome God where Evans was so good.
And then The King Is in the Room came out
earlier this year, so I think we definitely have an
album from here him coming out this fall properly.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
And then Josiah Queen is another artist to keep an
eye out for. He's big. He's going on tour with
the Summer Worship Nights tour actually believe it or not
if you're in the US only. But but I can
see him and releasing a new album or a couple
of new singles this year and a new album coming
out early late this year, early next year. Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Definitely, So yes, is.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
There anyone else I'm missing that we know that we
might be dropping an album this year? I know there's
so many artists in this industry nowadays, it's hard to
name them all. I can see and Wilson putting out
new music here soon.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
She might. Indeed, Rebel was definitely a success.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
She just released you know, extended deluxe edition of that,
so she might have new music coming soon, you never know.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
And then Chris Palmlin always is an artist that drops
us out of nowhere. And I can see Chris Tomlin
releasing new music. He's always His last album was one
of his better albums, His album Always That was like
a big album for him and everything, So it's excited
to see what he does next.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Definitely, yes.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
In the rock scene, I don't see skill it coming up,
but I was on I saw someone fots on thousand
foot Proache website said it's coming coming soon, and if
you have any guesses what that means, it's eiter a
new album. Marie recordings again. I'm excited for it because
it's thous.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
And Foot Crutch Oh yes, always for sure.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
They're one of my favorite bands of all times, so
it'll be exciting whatever it is.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
And another rock band that's really relevant that's releasing new
music is a Disciple.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
M yes.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
They just released the lex edition of their last album,
which is amazing. I love that album with past and
then all these new songs on have been so good,
so I'm excited for what's coming up with them too.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
And Seven Day Slumber just extended version of Fresh of
Paradise too, so if you're a big Seven Day Slumber,
they just released the Delexe edition there.
Speaker 2 (22:11):

Speaker 1 (22:14):
And in the rap scene, I can see maybe KB
dropping a little bit this year. You might see a
little bit of KB dropping this year. Lea Craze just
might be dropping something new this year. I'm not quite sure.
These are just guesses. Like I said, this is what
we're doing is just guessing. Ulvey just wrapped his new
album this year already, Bring Heaven Down, which is getting
getting a lot of recognition in the rap community. So
respect the whole vee. I'm bombed. I missed that show,
(22:36):
but it just didn't work out. But that's excited to
see two oh yes, definitely, And just with all these
albums being new tours, this is just would be a
quick brief. We know Winter Haam likes featuring artists that
dropped new albums. You think any of these artists we
brought up we could see on Winter Jam next year?
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Ooh possibly. I wouldn't be surprised if.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Literally, like half Buris who mentioned ship on Winter Jam,
there's so many amazing as because when it Dame does
a great job at picking them out every year. I
wouldn't be surprised at all if we get these artists.
So it'd be really cool to see.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
And like I said, we had too many. There's a
lot of artists that have oh sidewalk profets releasing a new
album this year you can go into details about that's
a great album if you haven't listen to it. And
there's a lot of other artists that I notice music
coming out, but I don't know if it's been announced,
so I'm not going to talk about them. Just I
don't want to preciate any about with record label, so
please shoot me or whatever.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
But m h exactly yeah, I feel you.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
There's a lot of artists that we want to tell
you all, but you know, in time it will all
be announced. I know over in collective release two EP's
recently Folk Collections, which are so good, so you never know,
we could get an album from them, we could get
other EP or something. But the music they've been putting ounced.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Incredible and one of my favorite people and you know
this person as well. They just released a song with
Jordan Police and they have another song to drop with
Terry and you know who I'm talking about right here.
I feel like we could see more music from Bay
Turner this year as well.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Yes, I'm hoping for that.
Speaker 3 (23:59):

dropping and this new singles he's putting out have been incredible.
I think he's got a lot of good stuff coming
for sure, and.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
He's wanted a new fresh faces like Natalie Laine and
Centricity Music. So Natalie Lane had her turn and sent
out I think it's big. We're gonna all go into
base her.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
I think so, and I'm excited for that.
Speaker 1 (24:21):

to have you back for an episode. I know we
talked a lot about Like I said, there's a lot
of independent music we could have talked about, but just
for the sake of this one, we just talked about
big releases and like one of my favorite big releases
or Guy, I was gonna bring this one up. So
it's sorry, it just came to my head. This is
where my energy of all comes in head is hypoo
Jake Guy. It's called ADHD But Dan Brends's The album
(24:41):
sounds really well too from what I heard.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Yes, the Herero ep is coming out in a few weeks,
so super excited to see that. Just like you said,
so many major RS are planning out incredible songs. I know,
there's infinite number of indie artists that I have been
killing it, whether Sean Rodriguez, Matti Harding, Alis and I.
But there's just so many amazing rs. Like we've talked
talk about this literally for hours, so.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
For sure, And we talk about about Indians in the program,
so it's not just talk fun just to talk about
these bigger artists too, So like you'll hear more about
from these Indian artists eventually on the podcast, and I

time of recording. After I'm done with Brandon today, I'm
gonna be meeting with Bailey Hagar or Bailey Hagar. That's
gonna be exciting. She just released her debut album a
couple months ago, so that's gonna be excited to see.
(25:24):
And you'll see more in the independent artists coming on
this channel talk about their new music. I have something
