Speaker 1 (00:00):
God wanted a place that he can place his presence in,
so his presence will be among his people. When the
Bible says that God so loved the world that he
gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him
should not perish but have everlasting life. One of the
things you got to understand about God is that God
loves you. God loves his people. And if God loves
(00:23):
you and God loves his people, guess what God also wants.
He wants to be with you. We are going.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
It's time for Sunday Supper and time to feast on
God's word. Sunday Supper is a ministry of christ Church
for the End Times. Christ Church for the End Times
is a non denominational teaching church ministry. Our mission is
to help prepare God's people for life and ministry during
the times in which we live. Join us on Wednesdays
at six thirty pm for a dynamic, practical, engaging, and
(01:11):
life changing Bible study and on Sunday mornings at ten
thirty am for a weekly church service. But for now,
let's feast at the Lord's table. Here's today's message already
in progress.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Exodus chapter twenty five one through eight, and the Lord
spake unto Moses, saying in repausea just a second. Now
your children are visual then brought out of Egypt. They're
going through the Promised Land. God is now positioning them
to move into the Promised Land. And now remember one
(01:53):
of the things that we shaid, God is a god
of order. And if you're going to have that order,
and if you want that order, repeat, you got to
have a pattern. And there are things that God want
to bring into this rim, and in order for it
to come into this rim, he has to give you
some guide, some instructions for you to go by in
(02:15):
order for that manifestation to take place. And so what
God is doing here, He's preparing to give a pattern
to Moses to follow when it comes to constructing the tabernacle.
And so that tabernacle isn't just something for them to
do for a religious exercise. That pattern God has given
(02:40):
in them, that pattern for that tabernacle for God to
put something or maybe I should say, take something from
the spiritual, takes something from the heavenlies and bring into
the earth. They bring into the natural in order for
him to spend some time among his people. Now that's important.
(03:02):
As we do this, we got to we also have
to understand that we are the temple of God. And
so if we're the temple of God, God isn't going
to leave the construction of your life up to you
or up to someone else. God has a pattern for you.
This is why Jeremiah with my bride's favorite script Jeremiah
(03:24):
is twenty nine and eleven is when God says, I
know the plan that I have for you. God is
saying I already got the pattern for your life. I
have a pattern for your life to follow. And that's
what we have to understand in our lives. God has
a pattern for our lives to follow. The reason why
we are not more successful, the reason why we don't
accomplish more than we should accomplish, it because we're not
(03:47):
following the pattern that God has laid out for our lives.
If you want success in life, follow God's pattern for
your life and you will see enormous success in your life.
Don't equate success all the time with dollars and cents
and popularity and power and all those things. Those things
are deceptive, they are elusive. Those things will get you
(04:11):
off track and you will never become that which God
has ordained for you to be. And far too many
people are not becoming that which God has ordained for
them to be for a multiplicity of different reasons. The
chief among those reasons is they are choosing not to
follow the pattern that God have place for their lives.
(04:33):
We marry people because we want certain things that we want.
We don't want to follow God's pattern. We go into
occupations and set up businesses and stuff because of somebody,
what somebody else want, or some other someone's pattern, or
what have you. The Bible instructs us to acknowledge the
(04:54):
Lord in all of our ways. Then he will direct
our paths, and He's going to direct your path according
to the pattern that He's laid out for your life.
Sometimes one other person's pattern will have to fit up
with your pattern in order for you for you with
others in order to create the tapestry of God. And
(05:15):
you're gonna see this even when it comes to the tabernacle.
So we don't just need a tent. We need something
to go in the tent. Someone may be a candlestick,
someone may be a pan or something for the hands
to be watched. Someone may have to be the curtains.
Some may women have to do something, and you may
not like what God has created you to do or
(05:36):
to be. But guess what God has created you for
a specific reason and purpose, and you are just as important,
just as valuable as anything else that's in the pattern.
And verse one of Exodus twenty five, the Lord's spaken
to Moses saying verse two, speaking to the children of Israel,
(05:58):
that they bring me an offering of every man that
giveth it willingly with his heart, Ye shall take my offering.
And I guess I'm gonna have to spend some time here,
even though I didn't intend to what I intended to
just read this, let you hear it and go on.
But I guess I got to follow the pattern. Right. See,
(06:19):
some of us we don't understand give. And I'm not
saying this in order for you to have some kind
of guilt conscience or whatever, in order to send pastor
Bennet money if you're picking this up on radio or
YouTube or television, whatever. But if you, if you're motivated
to give back, please do so. That's not the reason
(06:40):
for it. Nor when it comes to you all in here,
always say you do you, you do whatever, and this
scripture is gonna tell you why I take the approach
to that that I take. Listen to this, He's saying,
speak to the children of Israel that they bring me
and offering. So give the people an opportunity to give.
(07:01):
It's not that those other things are not important, but
when it comes to that which is most important, then
you give that short thrift and you just go on
like God is just pleased with everything that you did.
We're sad mistaken because we're not following the pattern of
God when it comes to God's manner of giving. God
extend the opportunity for you to give, and then you
(07:24):
got to have a heart to give. So what God
is saying, listen to this little portion here he said,
of every man that giveth it willingly. So if you're
not willing to give, keep it in your pocket. This
is why you never see us beg for offering. See
at christ Church. For the end times. I will do
exactly what God is saying. I will give you that opportunity.
(07:45):
I will tell you that you need to give. I
will share with you how to give and what have you,
just like we're doing now. But if you don't want
to give, don't give out, don't have no guilt trip
keep your money in your pocket. God is not hard
up for your money. God is not harder for you.
God is not harder for any of those things. What
God wants to do is extend the opportunity. When you
(08:10):
accept that opportunity, then all of a sudden you unleash
certain principles in your life. And one of the principles
of heaven is that you give and and shall be
given unto you good measure, pressed down, running over, shaken together.
And that says whatever you give, it comes back in
greater measures. So when you hold back, you're not hurting God,
you're hurting you. I'm kind of like David in this regard.
(08:33):
David says, I've been young and I've been old, but
never have I seen the righteous forsaken nor seed baking bread.
Righteous people are givers because righteous people look outwardly and
then inwardly. People that are selfish and self centered look
inwardly and then outwardly, and that breaks the principles that
(08:55):
God has given us. Remember this is why we constantly
share with us. Always keep Luke ten twenty seven in
the forefront of your mind, and if you get Luke
ten and twenty seven right. You don't have to worry
about heaven. You don't have to worry about hell. You
don't have to worry about any of the things that
we have a tendency to worry about. If you just
get Luke ten twenty seven right, just do that one verse,
(09:17):
that one scripture. Can you do that well? Past depends
on what it says, and it's simple. It incorporates the
first and the second commandments. And he says say it again.
He answering and said, unto them, thou shalt love the
(09:37):
Lord thy God, with all of thy heart, and with
all of our soul, and with all of thy strength,
and with all of thy mind, and what and thy
neighbor as thyself. Notice how you're not the first in
those equations, But most of us we want to be
first because we want to make sure that we're not
left out. But when it comes to thing in the kingdom,
(10:01):
you got a risk being left out. But many of
us don't want to be risk being left out. We
don't want to be hurt, We don't want to know
why to use you or whatever. No believe or not.
If you are believing, you're here to be used. They said, Lord,
use me to you use me up. I know that's
antithetical to the way we are taught today. But if
you want to see God working your life like never before,
(10:26):
live your life by that scripture, because a lot of
times we don't. And we're not gonna put this up there.
But that's why we constantly share with you Malachi the
third chapter, verse one through twelve, or eight through twelve,
when it comes to bringing your tithe and your offerings
in the storehouse, and he gives us the advantages of
(10:46):
doing so, he will rebuke the de vow for your sake.
See a lot of times we so many stuff that
comes upon us, and a lot of times they come
upon us because remember I was saying you how those
trees become wind breaks in our lives. Because we do
things our way, a lot of those wind breaks are
removed from our lives. And so devour is not only
(11:09):
not rebuked in our lives, he's not even impeded. But
if he gonna, if he's going to rebuke the the
vour for your sake, many times the the Vour has
already got you in your sight. Sometimes he will be
on you and you need someone to get him off
of you. This is why when we get sick, when
(11:30):
we go through things, when when when we can't and
I hate to see it this way, but it's applicable.
When you can't pay your bills, you can just call
on the Lord, say Lord help me. You could have
done you could have gotten yourself in a mess, and
the Lord will get you out. Truth be known, we
all get ourselves in a mess because we don't acknowledge
(11:52):
the Lord in all of our ways. The main thing
here here in the second verse, God is saying get
red eave their offering from those that give it willingly
from their hearts, not from their are guilty conscious, but
from their heart. And so anytime there's an offering, it's
easy here in christ Church for the end times, because
(12:12):
you know you could you could just you know, have
you ever been one of these services when they just
touch the basket, You touch the basket. You love you anyway,
It don't matter, Hey take it from the past. It
doesn't matter if you don't give anything. It really doesn't,
because the Lord supplies our knees according to his richest
(12:35):
and glory. But if you're in one of those places
when they're going to have all these one hundred dollars lines,
thousand dollars lines, twenty dollars line, and you don't want
to be in the dollar line or one of them.
Everybody else come lines. Now you don't have to worry
about that. But if you in that kind of place,
(12:55):
just keep your seat. If you if you if your
heart is to give the Lord or dollar, just give
them a dollar. If your heart, if your heart is
to give the Lord of a million dollars, just give
them a million dollars. And when you give it, give it.
Leave it up to the Lord. Don't worry about what
they're gonna do with it, whether gonna use it, whether
(13:16):
it can handle it. That's not that's not that's not
your call. That's between them and God. So get yourself
out of the out of the picture. Don't worry about
whether or not they're deceivers or anything like that. The
first thing is you acknowledge the Lord in all of
your ways. Make sure that you where God would have
(13:37):
you to be. And a lot of us are in
places that we shouldn't be in it in any way.
If Satanic worshipers are worshiped, worshiping at ten o'clock eleven
o'clock or whatever on Sunday mornings. Are you gonna go
to the Satanic worship church and say you're a Christian
unless the Lord leads you there? I think not So.
(13:58):
If you at a place, if you're in a place
and it's obvious, it's glaring that they're they're doing the
opposite of what God said in his word, Why you're
gonna sit there and complain about what's going on? You
either for it or you're not. You go to the
pastors that were pastor we're doing this here in this church.
(14:22):
But the Bible is saying this. If the Bible is
our guide, our pattern, then while we're doing what the
Bible doesn't say to do. And then if if there's
no good answer for that and this should not be,
then you need to you need to find someplace that's
(14:43):
going to that's that's going to be conducting themselves according
to God's word. Louli's side verse three says this, and
this is the offering which ye shall take of them,
gold and silver and brass, and blue and purple, and scarlet,
and fine linen, and ghost hair and ram skin dyed red.
(15:06):
Notice he didn't say ramskin. Oh, just bring anything there.
He's telling us specifically how he wanted why, because there's
a pattern that he wants to follow, and he's going
to tell me, I want you to do this according
to the pattern. So I want you to get ramskin
dyed red and badger's skin and shit the wood, all
(15:30):
for the lights and spices for ailing for anointing. All
he's tell he's given the specificity of what he wants,
not only for the structure, but also for the things
that's going to be taking place. But we go on,
he says, and for sweet incincts. Verse seven says, onyx
(15:52):
stones and stones to be set in the ephod and
in the breastplate, and let them make me a sanctuary
that I may dwell among them. Now just another of
Luis side. He's having them to do this in order
for him to have a place that he can come
(16:16):
and so that he can be with his people. There
is no building, there is no structure that anyone can
build that will contain God. God wanted a place that
he can place his presence in, so his presence will
(16:37):
be among his people. When the Bible says that God
so loved the world that he gave his only begotten
Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but
have everlasting life. One of the things you got to
understand about God is that God loves you. God loves
his people. And if God loves you and God loves
(16:58):
his people, what God also want He want to be
with you little side. But I got to just share this.
I guess my bride won't mind me sharing this. I
was sitting down to a computer. I'm always doing something,
and she's prancing around back and forth and getting pretty
(17:19):
getting ready to go someplace. And she was about to
get ready to go, and she went by the door,
came back by the door, and all of a sudden,
she came into the room and popped down on the
on the bed because you know, we're in a little
apartment because of the tree falling on the house temporarily,
so she sit down and said, well, I just wanted
(17:40):
to sit down and spend some time and with my
husband some some I'm training myself to pull away and
give her my undivided attention as a another little side
(18:01):
to a battle side. I noticed something a while ago
when she would talk and when she would I would
be doing what I'm doing. I'm listening because I can
multitask and whatever. So I'm doing whatever and I'm listening
to her. And I noticed over a time when she
(18:22):
would talk, she would gaze into space while she's talking.
And I could be like some of us, say well
the Lord said this. No, it just came and said, well,
she's doing that because you're not looking at her when
she's talking. So I began to pause and engage. It
(18:49):
don't take but a few moments, and a lot of
times in our lives when it comes to our relationships,
we've lost that pattern of relationship and how to deal
with relationships. We got to understand that presence is important
and sometimes when when you're especially when you're when you're
with someone that you've committed to living your entire life with.
(19:12):
I know I'm mixing a lot of stories together, but
I got to mix one of them on top of
those other two, those other two. When I got married,
I didn't talk a lot. Said at first they came
to them and said, Lord, what am I gonna say?
Forever to death to you part I planned to live
a long time. I don't know all that stuff to say.
Then I find out you don't have to worry about it.
(19:34):
She'll take care of it. But I learned to engage.
So that's the two stories. Get back to the oven.
I pulled from the computer and we began to talk,
and we began to discuss some things and what have you.
So I said all that to say, it's not that
God want us to build him a house or something.
(19:56):
God knows you can't. You don't have the capacity to
build God's house, but you do have the capacity of
creating a venue for His presence in our lives, in
our world and our little enclaves and our businesses, whatever
it is. We have the capacity to create a venue
(20:18):
for the presence of God. And that is what this
little these scriptures are all about. God is saying, if
you're going to build a place for my presence, this
is the pattern that you need to go by and
in our lives. If we're going to have a place
(20:38):
in our lives for the presence of God, then there's
a pattern that we're going to have to follow. Let
me just finish this one up real quick, so he says,
and let them make me a sanctuary that I may
what dwell among them. That is what you got to say.
When you look at the tabernacle. You look at all
of these things. This is why God didn't have them
(21:00):
to build him a temple, uh, a permanent place, because
you can't. You can't house God into permanency. No, you
can't do that. And not only that, God is bringing
them to a place that was huge, that was large,
(21:21):
and they were gonna have to be on the move.
And so when you're on the move, when you're in
a in a place where it's all this this this
movement and motion and what have you, you want God
to be able to move with you. And that's why
you need a tabernacle and not a temple. Temples are
(21:41):
more permanent. Tabernacles are mobile. And with this tabernacle, when
when it would be there for a while and as
long as the the cloud is is there uh during
the day and the fire by night. When you saw
that cloud of that fire move, it's time for you
to move. But when it's there, no what they would do,
(22:02):
and God would tell you to go and erect the tabernacle.
Now you got a place for my presence. And this
is what we got to understand. Regardless of where you
are in life, regardless of what you do in life,
you want to make sure that there's a place for
the presence of God in your life. And what we've
done in this world, we are pushing God out of
(22:23):
our lives. There's always saying when it comes to the
radio station, there was a time when you want to
make sure that they were on the airwaves there was
a place for the things of God. And what we
have done now we've gotten so bold that we don't
we want to just extract God from our lives, like
(22:46):
we don't need God. But we got to understand we
all need God. So you want a place from the world.
And in verse nine says according to all that I
show thee after what after the pattern of the tabernacle,
and the pattern of all the instruments thereof. Even so
(23:10):
ye shall ye make it? God want it made according
to the pattern. And as I said earlier, God has
a pattern for everyone's life. And if you want to
counter outcomes for your life, then you want to follow
the pattern that God has for your life. Now you
can choose whatever pattern that you want. You can determine
(23:31):
that you want to do something totally different from what
God says. But you got to understand that you're gonna
miss it. Why because you gotta follow the pattern of God.
Verse ten says, and they shall make an arc of
shillen wood. Two cubans and a half shall be the
length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof,
(23:53):
and a cubit and a half the height thereof. And
so he was laying out the size of the arc
because there was something that the arc was going to do.
Also it were going to have the commandments, we were
going to have other things within it. And then in Romans,
chapter eight and verse twenty ninety says for whom he
(24:14):
did for no, he also did predestinate to be conformed
to the image of his son, that he might be
the pattern the firstborn among many brotherren. Mrs Paul's there
just for a moment, as I was sharing with you,
probably in the last ones. When you look at this
(24:35):
word predestinate, he's not talking about just outlining predestinating every
little aspect of his life with this scripture, saying he
predestinated us to be like Jesus. And the problem with
that in the church today is that in the church
we are telling people you can't be like Jesus. There
(24:56):
was but one perfect man, and that was Jesus Christ
this scripture telling us that Jesus is the pattern. Jesus
is the first notice he says in this last the
first born among how many many brethren? That means Jesus
shouldn't shouldn't be the only one, He should be one
among many. And who are the others? It is us
(25:17):
is the believers. Every one of us have to come
to a point of understanding that if it falls to
our lot, a part of our goal, our destiny should
be to be like Jesus, not metaphorically speaking, but to
be a mirror image. Remember that pattern you got out,
the pattern you should get with the outline on the
(25:38):
pattern reveals right, and Jesus is that pattern. Let's look
at John John fifteen and sixteen. It says this, ye
have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and
ordain you that ye should go and bring forth fruit,
and that your fruit should remain. That whatsoever ye should,
(26:00):
we'll ask of the Father in my name, he may
give it you. So now I included that scripture for
one main reason, and that is to let us know
that in spite of what we think, we don't choose God.
God chooses us what we do is accept the invitation.
And God has chosen all of us, and He has
(26:23):
pre determined, He has predestinated all of us to be
an image of his son, Jesus Christ. We are literally
to become sons of God, and that's important for all
of us. Now, I'm going to share something real quickly
in Ephesian chapter four. The reason that I'm sharing this
(26:43):
with you is to try to get us back on track.
We're going to have to get back to doing things
the way God instructed us to do them. And in
order to do that, then ministers, the clergy, all of
those that are in ministry are going to have to
come back can do things the way that God outlines
them to be done, not and follow the pattern of
(27:06):
God and not follow our own pattern. Ephesian chapter four,
verse eleven says this, And he gave some apostles, and
some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.
Why did he do this for the perfecting of the saints,
for the working of the ministry, for the elfying the
(27:28):
building up of the Body of Christ. For how long
till we all come into the unity of the faith.
That we're unity translates into oneness. There's a oneess that
we all should have in Christ, because the Body of
Christ is not divided, and one is different from unity,
(27:49):
even though I understand the similarities. But those ministry giftings
are to be are in place, and we will be
in place until we see the manifestation of verse thirteen,
till we all come and to the unity of the
faith also and of the knowledge of the Son of God.
(28:13):
There's a commonality of our knowledge of the Son of
God that we all should have. And the only way
we're going to have that commonality of knowledge is to
follow the pattern that God has already said and that
God has already put into place. And our problem is
we have deviated from the pattern. So now we don't
even know who the Son of God is. We call
(28:34):
this name, we say Jesus, but we have lost sight
of who Jesus really is. So we all come into
the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of
the Son of God. Unto what a perfect man. Now
we are told in the church that you can't be perfect.
The Bible beg to differ with you. He's telling you
(28:55):
you supposed to be perfect. And what we're doing is
working towards that perfection.
