We love #MerMay - a monthlong celebration of artwork and mermaids. Seeing all of the beautiful posts on social media gave us a fun idea for a collaboration. So if you’re a #MerMay artist, we want YOU!
Tag @mermaidpodcast in any of your #mermay posts, and we may choose to write a short story inspired by your mer character! Your artwork and the short story will be featured on our social media channels and in an episode of The Mermaid Podcast. Please share this post with your friends or tag them in the comments if you think they’d want to participate! Any questions? Just ask!

HOW IT WORKS:
- To enter, tag @mermaidpodcast in your #mermay post(s) on Instagram. You may tag us in the comments, caption or image. You may also email your entry to podcast@cinderly.com.
- Tag @mermaidpodcast in your #mermay posts between May 21, 2020 through June 1, 2020. You may tag us in as many posts as you like.
- We’ll select at least 5 (five) posts and our host @lauravonholt will write a short story (no longer than 500 words) inspired by your #mermay artwork.
- The winning posts and stories will be featured on our social media channels and on a special #MerMay episode of The Mermaid Podcast in Summer 2020.
- Fine print: By participating in this collaboration and tagging @mermaidpodcast, the artist agrees that the artist will retain all rights to their artwork. The artist also agrees to allow their artwork to be re-posted with credit on The Mermaid Podcast’s social media channels and at mermaidpodcast.com.
