'Cinema Degeneration Presents' is a podcast that aims to be an all-encompassing show that doesn't limit itself to one topic or genre. We'll be covering all sorts of movies, books, music and more. There will be solo reviews and group chats with multiple different guest hosts and interviews. Sometimes there will be themed segments such as "How The F$%k Did That Get Made", "The Good, The Bad, The Independent", "Why Is That Not Eric Roberts?" and iterations of past shows like Old Not Obsolete and This Is Your Brain On Film. For our 5th episode we are bringing you a celebration of the truly weird and utterly independent with a double feature of reviews. Starting off the festivities our solo host Cameron Scott does a short dive into the 1991 alien invasion slasher "THERE'S NOTHING OUT THERE" that is surprisingly enough a first time watch for him. This weird slice of fried gold horror comedy is such a wild ride that we highly recommend wearing your seatbelts. {You have been pre-warned of the green alien slime!} This review is followed by a "How The F%$K Did That Get Made" segment with hosts and filmmakers Marcus Koch and Cameron Scott dissecting the 1980 cult classic "FORBIDDEN ZONE" directed by the legendary Richard Elfman and starring Susan Tyrrell, Herve Villechaiz ; and a supporting cast that includes Joe Spinell and Danny Elfman. Our hosts will take you on a trip through the mad and macabre musical adventures of a girl on a trip through the 6th Dimension through a portal in the family basement. This movie has to be seen to be believed. Join us in celebration the these two truly insane and definitely weird movie!
