Are you ready to maximize your Disney vacation and experience the most popular attractions with minimal wait times? We're diving deep into the strategic world of "rope dropping" at Walt Disney World - that magical practice of arriving before park opening to be among the first guests rushing to key attractions.

Every minute counts when planning your Disney mornings, and we're sharing our battle-tested strategies for each park. At Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain emerges as our family's go-to choice while the crowds rush to Fantasyland. We'll explain why Tomorrowland's morning ambiance creates the perfect start to your day, along with alternatives like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for families with different priorities.

Hollywood Studios presents the toughest rope drop decisions with its concentration of blockbuster attractions. Should you prioritize Rise of the Resistance's immersive Star Wars experience or the classic thrills of Tower of Terror? We break down the pros and cons of each option, plus family-friendly alternatives in Toy Story Land.

For Animal Kingdom enthusiasts, we reveal why Kilimanjaro Safaris might actually be a better rope drop choice than Flight of Passage for repeat visitors. The morning safari experience offers significantly more active animals and natural behaviors than you'll see later in the day - a complete game-changer for wildlife lovers.

From Test Track at EPCOT to the strategic value of experiencing elaborate queues without the crushing crowds, these insider tips will transform how you approach your Disney mornings. We've made the mistakes so you don't have to! Join us for this essential planning guide that will help you create magical memories without spending your vacation waiting in standby lines.

(00:22):
voice we just did not get aroundto doing an episode this week,
but we didn't want to leavey'all with nothing.
So we are going to replay anolder episode, one of our
favorites, episode number 90,which attractions you should
rope drop in Walt Disney World.
So we hope you enjoy it.
And unfortunately again, we'reso sorry we were unable to get a

(00:47):
new episode out this week.
But next week we will be backand we're going to be getting
ready to go to Walt Disney World.
So we'll talk to you next week, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Hello and welcome to Circular Parks Podcast, episode
number 90.
Today we will be talkingattractions to rope drop in Walt
Disney World.
There is so much to see and do.
We are here to help guide youthrough, but before we do that
we must talk Disney merch.

(01:39):
So this week on Disney merch, you know, if you're talking rope
drop you might as well talkabout magic bands.
So if you go check outshopdisneycom, they have a lot
of new magic bands out there, especially the Magic Band Plus
from the new Little Mermaid, alice in Wonderland it's a
limited edition for the Disney100,.

(01:59):
Pandora you've got a lot of new.
Mickey and Minnie for PassHolders.
Pandora You've got a lot of new.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Mickey and Minnie For pass holders you have ones from
Adventureland, Okay.
I have a beef about theAdventureland one, okay.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Hold on, but there are so many new ones out there,
so again you can't talk ropedrop without usually including
Magic Bands.
So go check all those out atShopDisneycom.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Should I go on my rant or should I let?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
it go Might as well.
You've already started.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So I was wanting to get the Adventureland Pass
Holder Magic Band Plus when Iwas down there a couple weeks
ago Nowhere in the parks.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I'm shocked.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
They had the Fantasyland one, which I could
care less about.
The Fantasyland one, but notthe Adventureland one.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I know you had your heart set on it.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
And I wasn't going to get us Magic Band Pluses for
Disneyland, talked me, walked methrough the ticketing process
for Disneyland.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's stupid.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
It's stupid.
So they're like almost forcingyou to get Magic Band Pluses.
So that's what we did, and wejust got basic color Magic.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Band Pluses.
Well, and then now we'll havethem when we go back to Disney
World also.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah, so thank you everybody.
Episode number 90.
Happy Mother's Day to everybody.
Brittany, did you have a reallygood Mother's Day?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I did, it was, it was .
I was a mother because we wereat soccer field.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Another weekend at the soccer field Last weekend of
the spring.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yes, it was good though.
It was great Very hot and humidday.
But at the end of their firstgame that day they brought the
moms roses and it was just goodbeing with other moms that are
going through a lot of the samethings that I am with travel,

(03:47):
soccer and working and jugglingother things.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
So it was a great mother's day y'all have really
gotten to be close this spring.
Yes, all the moms have, so itwas really good.
And yeah, summer punched us inthe face sunday, didn't it?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
oh gosh, it just came .
That's the humidity.
Yeah, it was the humidity.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
That's how summer happens in tennessee.
Our springs are horrible.
It's like cool, cool, like onebeautiful week, cool, rainy, and
then summer's like bam, 90degrees, 100 humidity, right in
your face, yes, and it justhappens and here we are yeah,
but yeah, uh.
Nolan was playing up in an agegroup their team and one of the
moms said if they didn't win thechampionship then it wasn't

(04:19):
worth it being our mother's daybut she was kidding, she was
getting away anyway.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
But yeah, it was a good Sunday it was.
It was.
And then at the end, you know,we got to go see my mom for a
bit, so the boys got to see, youknow, one of their grandmas,
and so it was a good day, yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
We're going to Disneyland in a week and a half.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yes, I still hasn't hit you yet like right before
soccer it'll hit you like twodays before, once you're off, I
gotta.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I have a short week next week yes, nice yes, all
right.
So we don't know.
We haven't really done anyresearch on disneyland we're
kind of going into it withblinders on.
We do.
I mean, we have ideas of whatwe're going to do and we have
our uh, dining stuff booked, butif any of y'all are Disneyland
people, send us some suggestionsto do Because we don't really
know.
We don't know, like we know thechurros right and we know the

(05:12):
shawarma, but other than that, like we don't really know of a
lot of things in like snacks inDisneyland that we have to get.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah.
So let us know what's specialout there that you have enjoyed.
You know whether it's snacks, beverages, places to just kind
of sit and relax, even.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah, I don't even know what's in downtown Disney.
We're staying at the DisneylandHotel, which we'll do more of.
We'll be planning it next week.
But yeah, so you needDisneyland people out there.
Just shoot us some emails, comments at circleofparkscom, or
message us on Facebook, instagram at circleofparks and
yeah, we'd love to hear that.
Yes, all right, let's get intothis.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
We're gonna break it down by park Magic Kingdom,
hollywood Studios, epcot Centerand Animal Kingdom yes, and as a
reminder, since we've beentalking for a little bit, it's
what attractions to rope drop inWalt Disney World?

Speaker 3 (06:02):
I don't think we're rope dropping much anymore.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Well, we're not.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
But what you should do.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
What you should try, and I've listed quite a few
options for each one because youknow it varies with what your
interests might be it does.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And I think in Disneyland we are going to,
because I've heard that, sinceit's a local park, it gets
busier throughout the day, sothe morning time is the best
time to go get stuff done.
Okay, so I think we will berope dropping.
Disneyland and californiaadventure, right?
But yeah, all right, let'sstart with magic kingdom,
britney.
What are you starting off with?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
so I have a total of five.
Five wow again, depending onwho you are.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
First one, uh, space mountain that's the one and only
correct answer for this park.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Space mountain is the correct, only correct answer
for rope dropping at magickingdom so space mountain, if
you've been listening to thisshow, you've heard us say that
that's the one we go to becauseso many others are going to
other rides that I will mentionhere shortly, if Zach doesn't.
And it's just a little bit lesscrowded when you're over there,

(07:11):
kind of in your holding areabefore they let you all the way
in.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
It's not crazy like Fantasyland?
Yeah, fantasyland gets nuts.
Yeah, tomorrowland is a littlemore chill.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
So, and you know they do some fun yeah Tomorrowland.
They do some fun trivia whileyou're waiting.
I won, and it's just, you knowa good time, and I have ridden
Space Mountain a couple of times, but now it's Zach and the boys
, and then there's a Joffrey'sright next to it, so I'll get me
a coffee drink and I'll grabthem donuts to have after, and

(07:40):
it's just kind of come.
You know our routine, butthat's the one that we rope drop
.
Yes, space Mountain, and it'sjust kind of come.
You know our routine.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
But that's the one that we rope drop.
Yes, space Mountain is thenumber one rope drop for me, and
there's also something aboutbeing in Tomorrowland before it
gets just crazy busy in there, right, you hear the music more.
The music and the clicketyclack of I know I say that weird
, but the clickety clack of thepeople mover.
It's just something about beingin Tomorrowland before it gets
just stupid, crazy.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Right.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Yeah, and very peaceful almost.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Yeah, well, we're always like one of the first in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yes, it's very yes.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
But yes, so.
So that is one, because youknow that ride the line can get
backed up Great cue.
Yeah, zach thinks so, but didyou meet me?
No, I did not oh I thought whenI said that I saw you now she's
muted so, um, but yes, spacemountain.

(08:36):
And for those that are, youknow, maybe like me and you're
like I really don't want to dospace mountain, but everybody
else in your family does takeadvantage of that joffrey's
being right there.
So get you a big donut and somejoffrey's coffee well, I don't
need the donut, but I get thecoffee.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
But yeah, next on my list and this is one that we
don't do.
But if, if you're trying to getstuff done and you do not want
to buy an individual paidlightning lane seven dwarfs mine
train, that was next on my list.
We really do.
We meant to be together.
Yeah, let me guess what's nexton your list well, let's talk
about seven doors, does it?

(09:09):
Start with the peter and endwith the flight no oh, wow, okay
, all right, no, seven doors.
Mine train is a great one torope drop.
If you got little kids thatwant to do it, or if it's a must
do for you, or if you're justdon't want to spend the money
for the need to pay lightninglane, I get it, but this is when
you're going to want to ropedrop.
Even when I was there a fewweeks ago when it was like a
slow day in the parks, it wasstill an 80 minute wait.

(09:31):
Right, yes, and that's when, like, we have tried to rope drop
before, but that's where, likeso many people are going, and on
the days where we attempted it,it happened to be down and
that's when we went to spacemountain and we were like oh,
this is a much better idea, because there was still nobody
over in tomorrowland, right, andwe just walked right on to
space mountain yes, and that'show that tradition started,

(09:52):
exactly because that was aftertwo times seven dwarfs happening
when we tried it first thing inthe morning yep, all right.
So what's next on your list?
I have pirates of the caribbeanactually I don't think that's
open 30 minutes prior though isit not?
Adventureland is not, it's justfantasy land.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
And tomorrow okay, well, at normal opening time,
normal opening time,adventureland does open.
Yes, I would go to piratesfirst, because that one can get
lengthy pirates or you junglecruise I'm getting to jungle in
a little bit.
I'm talking pirates.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yes, it can so can't go wrong with pirates no, sorry.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
So yes, it may be not your if you're staying at a
disney resort and rope dropping.
Maybe not that, but yes for theactual park opening, because I
mean there have been times wherepirates has been over an hour
it can get over an hour.
You know a lot of times it'snot, but there are times where
it is, or if it maybe went downfor a short time at some point
during the day and it getsbacked up and the smell of that
pirate water will wake you uptoo and you know it's a great

(10:54):
ride.
It's one that we didn't do thefirst time or two that we were
there.
But now, you know, I don't knowLike we skipped it one time and
it just didn't feel right.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yeah, and we need to do another Mistakes We've Made
episode.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Because that was one of them.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
But yeah, that was a mistake we made.
We didn't do Pirates of theIsland.
It's become one of our favoriteattractions.
When I was there a few weeksago, I had to do it and yeah, it
was a great one.
Yep, next on next to my list isone we don't do, but it's one
that, if you don't want to waiton a long line or pay for Genie
Plus Peter Pan's Flight, yes,and I suggest definitely going

(11:32):
through the queue for this ride.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yes, correct you know we went through the queue once.
Absolutely loved everythingabout it.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Very interactive.
It's one of the top queues inMagic Kingdom.
Yes, but then we did do alightning lane one other time,
the past couple of times, and itwas like why would we wait?
Yeah, why would we waste alightning lane on it?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Well, it was more, it didn't seem long enough.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
No, it did not.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Because the queue.
You don't realize how much thequeue adds to it, so it's still
a good ride.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
But the queue, I think, is just what completes it
.
So the queue takes you fromwendy's house and bedroom and
then when you get on to theattraction and you go to
tomorrowland, it feels like youreally are going to neverland,
sorry when you go to neverland,it really does feel like you
because you've been through thebedroom and you've seen all this
stuff in the in the queue andthat sets your mind ready to go

(12:27):
to neverland right where whenyou skip the queue.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I don't know, it just felt too short it just felt it
didn't feel right.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Yeah, I agree yeah all right, that's all I got
what's on your list?
Uh jungle cruise jungle cruiseis a good one.
This one can get very long andthat queue can get really hot
yes.
Yes, even though it's shaded.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
It's still.
It's very hot, it's very well.
You're in the jungle down there.
It's outside, yeah, so it'svery muggy down there it is
muggy, but now you know they doa great job of keeping you
entertained.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
The cast members are.
The skippers are amazing.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yes, I mean, they tell jokes after jokes.
You know this is before youeven board the boat.
You know just to keep youentertained while you're in the
queue.
And yeah, I say you know theearlier in the day.

Speaker 3 (13:10):

Speaker 2 (14:22):
This one the better, or maybe later in the evening.
I want to do it at night.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
I think that'd be completely different at night.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, I think it'd be so cool.
We did it in the evening onetime.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah, but it wasn't like dark.
We haven't done it when it'sdark out that would be so cool.
But yeah, the cast members hereof all the cast members that
I've seen working attractions, they just seem like they are
having a ball, like they're noteven working.
They're just goofing off withtheir friends, having fun with
the guests and just genuinelyenjoying their day and having

(14:52):
just a blast doing it yes, Iagree all right.
What's next on your list, sinceyou had five?

Speaker 2 (14:57):
well, this one it's not open, or I don't think it's
a no, it's not open during ropedrop, but it yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
It's definitely one that I would try to get on it
opens at the park opening, notthe 30 minutes early for early
park entry.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, but I would try to get on that too, if you're
already on that side like yesyou know.
So like maybe you say rope drop, jungle cruise, maybe go to
pirates and then make your wayto big thunder.
That's a good call.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Yeah, because you're already going that way,
definitely, yeah, big thundercan't go wrong another great
time to do it is maybe go toPirates and then make your way
to Big.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Thunder, that's a good call yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Because you're already going that way,
definitely.
Yeah, big Thunder can't gowrong.
Another great time to do it isduring the fireworks.
Yeah, that's just such a greattime.
But I like Happily Ever After,so I don't think I'll be able to
skip Happily Ever After now andgo do attractions, because I, I
don't know.
All right.
Next park we're going to isHollywood Studios.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Now, this one is very hard To decide.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Which To decide, because there's some heavy
hitters in Hollywood Studios.
So this one's tough, this one'sgoing to be what you and your
family are going to this one, you're going to have to sit down
and really talk about what doyou want to rope drop?
Yes, because this park'sstacked with attractions.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
It is.
What do you?

Speaker 3 (16:09):
have first on your list.
Well, again I have five, I'vegot four, because I left one out
because it's down forrefurbishment right now.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Well, that would be my fifth one.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Yeah, so I dropped.
I was going to put Rock andRoller Coaster in there because
me and Ryan rope dropped thatlast time, but I dropped it out
because it's under refurbishmentand I don't think there's an
opening date.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
It was number five on my list, but others.
There are still four others andit would be tough.
It really truly depends on whatyou want to do.
The first two were tough tochoose between.
One is Rise of the Resistance.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Yes, because that one it can be very lengthy, or you
can do a paid lightning lane.
However, if you want to goahead and hit all the Star Wars
stuff first thing in the morning, then why not go ahead and
start with Rise of theResistance?

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Rock and Roller Coaster has not been given a
date to reopen.
It just says summer 2023.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Okay so.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Yeah, yeah.
So Rise of the Resistance is agreat one.
If you don't want to, I'mpretty much going to repeat
everything you just said, so goahead and continue.
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
I mean, it's a great ride and if you want to start
your day on that side of thepark and go ahead and see
everything in galaxy's edge, then rise of the resistance.
You know, and I mean but planfor it to take even if you're
one of the first ones on therelike an hour.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Well, about 30 minutes.
The attraction itself takesabout 30 minutes once you get in
there with BB-8 and Rey yeah.
So I mean I would plan 20 to 45minutes Right To do this.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yes, but I mean Grey.
I mean it will set the tone foryour day.
If you're a huge Star Wars fanor not, it's an amazing ride.
Again, it's also a paidlightning lane, but if you could
start your day with it, it then.
That was the first one that Iwrote down so I start, I'm going
a different direction.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Okay, we're going down sunset boulevard and, um,
we're gonna go to get a littlescared, we're gonna go to tower
of terror.
I think it's just classichollywood studios.
The twilight zone, tower ofterror is a great attraction
through and through.
The queue, the storyline, the,the ride itself is just so
iconic, so good it's going towake you up.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yes, because we did that once.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
And right when you walk up, there's a Joffrey right
outside the gift shop,Joffrey's Coffee.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
I didn't need it, though I was shaking.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
It's just iconic.
It's a great way to start theday.
I want to do it at night too.
I didn't need it, though I wasshaking.
It's just iconic.
It's a great way to start theday.
I want to do it at night too.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I haven't done it at night.
Yeah, and I mean, and eventhough that's not my favorite
ride, it was number three on mylist yeah, so you know, and
again, I posted that picture ofyou first time doing Twilight
Tower.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
I know I hate that picture, it's so awesome.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
And again, this comes down to what are your interests
.
You know what is your priority, what do you want to make sure
or start your day with?
So, but that, that again wasone of my top three choices.
And you know, you're like, likeZach was saying, it's like an
iconic ride.
Yep, Yep.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
What's next on your list?

Speaker 2 (19:22):
So if you have younger ones, Toy Story Mania.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Not the Alien Swirling Saucers, no, no, slinky
Dog's next on my list.
Oh, you got Toy Story Mania.
Yeah, sorry.
Yeah, that's a great, I havethem on my list too.
Are you not listening to them?
I am not.
No, yeah, toy Story Mania.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
At least I Toy Story Mania Awesome, awesome, awesome.
Love the queue, love it.
So many details.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Great queue.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
And I mean like toys, like you're meant to be the
size of a toy too, so all thesetoys are around you.
That I mean like you have likeEtch-A-Sketch and different
board games.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Mr Potato Head.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
And you have the animatronic of Mr Potato Head
entertaining you and I mean justthere's so much to look at in
this queue.
And then, as you keep goingfurther, and before you board
your little vehicle, you knowit's like you're going in Andy's
room, so you're like enteringthis huge door, bedroom door,

(20:22):
and so it's just everythingabout it.
I love me and nolan, you knowwe've ridden this more times
than I can count, it seems.
You know, but it's, it's, it'sso fun I would agree it's a
great one.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
We've rope dropped it before great attraction.
I went slinky dog dash.
This is when you want to ropedrop for uh, for your family's a
great one, and that one's nexton my list it can get a very
long wait during the day, andthe lightning lanes for this go
almost immediately.
So if you don't want to spendthe money on lightning lane or

(20:58):
waste time trying to get it,this is a good one.
To rope drop, because mostpeople are going to be either
going to here or to Galaxy'sEdge, and then you can do it at
night too.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
We always love this at night.
We love it at night.
Our oldest Ryan, I think, really, really loves it at night
.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
It's so cool at night .

Speaker 2 (21:14):
And it's just, you know, like we've said before, as
long as you're in line beforepark closing then you'll get on
there.
So you know it could be posted.
You know, an hour, hour and ahalf wait, but if you're in line
like a couple minutes beforepark closing it's not gonna.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
It won't be that long at that point but yeah,
definitely one you want to do ifit's a priority for you and
your family.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Slinky dog dash is a great one yeah it's a rope drop
yes, because it it stays busythroughout the day and this is
such a smooth coaster.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
It's a great, you know coaster for toddlers that
are, you know, three to four, Ithink three and four year olds
are are appropriately, it's agood one to start to start with
yeah all right, what's next Igot?

Speaker 2 (21:56):
that's all I got for hollywood studio yeah, because
we already talked about theother one that's not open right
now yeah, so, uh, we're going toepcot, so I think we're done
rope dropping Epcot for ourfamily.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
I mean I don't know, I'm struggling, I'm like eh, eh,
eh.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
But if you do want to rope drop, Epcot Test Track's
the first one you want.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
For us that's a good one.
Yes, Test Track for sure.
The boys, like our boys, loveit what a way to wake up, huh
yeah, and I mean like they lovethe whole process.
You know it was different.
Like when it very, very firstopened back up after covid, you
couldn't like design your carand all the specs for the
vehicle and everything.
Now you know that's been backfor a while now and that's the

(22:43):
part that they really truly likeand enjoy.
And then, yeah, I mean it's away to wake you up for sure, and
I mean it's an exciting rideyeah, it's a great ride, yeah
yep, and it definitely stays atleast an hour plus all day long,
always busy yes, but it ispretty cool later in the day too
at night's good, yes, yep.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
What's next on your list?

Speaker 2 (23:06):
uh, I put soaring.
Yeah, it is I didn't make mylist.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
The wait time for soaring hasn't been getting that
long lately I know.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
But like, let's just say it's your only time going
and it's something you've heardof, you want to do and you want
to experience, you want to getthe smells and all that.
Then you know later in the dayit's not like one of those that
has an hour and a half wait oranything.
But if you don't want to wait45 plus minutes, then that's

(23:37):
when you might want to rope drop.
Yeah, because we'll talk aboutsoaring a little bit more like
yeah yeah, I mean because you'rejust flying over, you know all
these different beautifullandmarks and countries and
getting those smells and I don'tknow.
It's just something about thatride like it.
Just it brings out all theemotions in me.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Yeah, it's a great one yeah, next on my list would
be living with the land.
No, because it's always a shortway I'm joking, although I did
see on twitter.
This guy uh did rope drop, living with the land, and he
recorded himself on the booklike it was pretty funny yeah,
the only one on there, probably.
Yes, yeah, uh, no, next to mylist and again now we?

Speaker 2 (24:20):
but we do like living with the land, but it's not for
rope dropping.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
My number one underrated attraction in all of
Walt Disney World is Living withthe Land.
No, depending on your family,if it's a must-do for you, I put
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Yay, yes, it's on my list, it's on your list.
Yeah.
So earlier, when you weresaying, I don't know, I think we
might be done with ropedropping me and Nolan might go
and rope.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Y'all can go do this me and ryan staying at the
resort and chilling for a littlebit longer.
Okay, because epcot's justanyway continue.
Talk about remys yeah, y'alllove it.
Yeah, it's good.
It's a good attraction, but Idon't love it.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
It may be just for the fact that, like we missed
out on it the first time too, itwas, you know, the first time.
It was very hot summer, middleof the day, nolan was getting
overheated and so me and him hadto kind of step out of the line
.
Zach and Ryan stayed and rodethe ride, and then we'd been
hearing about it from them andhow much we'd like it you know

(25:16):
for so long.
So once we finally had theopportunity to ride it, nolan
and I just absolutely fell inlove with it.
It was a lot cuter than Ithought it would be.
There was a couple littlesurprises in it and stuff too
with some splashes, and it wasjust an experience, I guess, for
me and him.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Yeah, what's next on your?

Speaker 2 (25:37):
list.
So this is another onedepending on your family and
their favorite movies, FrozenEver After.
I'm'm just gonna check the queueout and I'm out but again,
we're talking about trying tohelp families out here.
Yes, so frozen ever after agreat ride, especially if you
have boys or girls that love themovie, or even if it's if

(26:00):
you're an adult and that's oneof your favorite movies, that is
one that the line gets verylengthy throughout the day,
wrapped around Norway and evengoing into another country,
sometimes in the World Showcase.
But the queue, awesome queue.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
I just want to see Oaken.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Yeah, but before you get to Oaken, like well, you see
him a little bit early on andthen you see him more later and
it's just like I don't know thecity of Arendelle and they did a
really good job in there and II like the ride, but I also like
the movie they did a very goodjob with the queue and and
making you feel like you're inarendale.
They did such a great job yes,and so again, depending on your

(26:39):
family, that would be another, another choice, and both remys
and frozen.
You know they're located in theworld showcase.
Remys is in the france pavilion, frozen is in the norway right.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yeah, norway pavilion , so yeah yeah, anything else
you got for epcot.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
That's all I got well , this other ride isn't a rope
drop yet guardians, yeah, yeah,no, guardians, you can't rope
drop yet.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
These are still a virtual queue or a paid
lightning link.
Right, but it will be, I thinkonce it is that would probably
be in the top two that you wouldneed to do.
Yeah, the best coaster onproperty right now.
Yeah, sans tron.
I haven't done tron yet, butfrom what I've read and heard
and seen, it's better than tronright all right, we're going to

(27:22):
our favorite park Animal Kingdom.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
And we all know everybody.
I have three on me, you gotthree.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Again, depending on who you are, geez, I'm speaking
to the wide audience, not justus.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
So I've got a very niche audience that, like me and
I'm speaking to them Everybodyelse loves you.
I'm kidding, everybody knowseverybody's answered the same
question Avatar, flight ofpassage.
Everybody you have to rope dropAvatar, flight of passage.
You got to see this queue, amazing queue.
I'm glad I went through it afew weeks ago and I got a few

(28:03):
more little Easter eggs that I'mgoing to use for Disney trivia
from that queue that I did notsee before okay, well, the first
couple of times we'll talkabout it we did rope drop avatar
flight of passage.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Yes, we don't anymore .
We have a different process forit.
But yes, if you have not been, then avatar flight of passage
should be the rope drop thequeue.
We've talked about it, likezach was just saying time and
time again the details hank, what's up?
Hank, um, just, you know thelab area, how you get synced

(28:34):
with your um, your banshee.
I almost forgot what they werecalled for a minute the ecron,
the banshee yes, and just theoverall experience.
I mean it's amazing, like forthose once you're on it, like
for those, what five minutesit's like four minutes and 39
seconds yeah, it's like I meanyou're there you're not, yeah,

(28:55):
you're not in animal kingdomanymore, you know.
So definitely, definitely,definitely.
One to rope drop, but I do havetwo others as well all right.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
The next one we and this is what we do now we rope
drop and go to kilimanjarosafari, kilimanjaro safari and
we do a paid out, paid lightninglane for avatar flight of
passage, just because the safariis so much better in the
morning.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yes, I did it later in the evening a few weeks ago
didn't see half the animals thatwe normally see during the day
right, yeah, and I mean, and Ithink the first couple of times
we went like middle of the day, later in the day, it was hot and
yeah like zach just said, youdon't see quite as many, but in
the morning we've gone a fewtimes now in the morning you

(29:38):
definitely see a lot moreanimals blocking the track
you're supposed to be driving onand I showed the video of that
giraffe coming right up to ourvehicle.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
That was amazing.
Nolan would have loved that.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Yes, it was one of those moments, like, of course
it happened when daddy was here.
But um, yes, I mean just in themorning, though.
There you know the lions theywere actually moving around, not
just laying down.
They were definitely havingconversations with each other.
You just don't know what you'regoing to see.
You see more of the youngerbabies and stuff too.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
It's a lot more chill going that way than it is going
to Pandora, because that placeis everybody's running to get
there.
No one's really running to getto the farm.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
We're maybe speed walking a little bit, but we're
not trying to outreach everybodyelse, you know.
And and then we have, we have aroutine now.
After we do that, we stop atthat place right outside of it
to get like a breakfast sandwichit's a little cart in harambe
yes, and then we try to do someof the trails.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
The gorilla falls, yeah, so another great thing
about rope dropping kilimanjarosafari is that queue is horrible
.
You go right through.
You have to wait in thathorrible, horrible queue it?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
yeah, because later in the day it's like switchbacks
and it's so hot it's outside inthe open then once you nothing,
and then even once you do getinto the covered area, the
covered area, there's still notreally anything to see.
So yeah, if you're there firstthing, then you would think you
just keep moving, keep movingfor being such a great
attraction.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
They could have come up with the better cue, right.
But no, yeah, yeah, anyway, allright.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
So that's all.
You have one more.
You got one more.
You're rushing.
You got one more.
Sorry, slow your roll.
You got one more.
Yes, now this one again.
I'm thinking of others, not meexpeditioniceratops spin
expedition everest.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Yeah I mean, I wouldn't consider this a rope
drop one, just because itusually doesn't get that long of
a wait but there have beentimes where it has it can get to
an hour plus.
Yes, we've waited an hour plusfor it, but here's the thing you
want to wait an hour plus forthis because that queue is the
best queue in walt disney worldwell see, I still haven't seen
it, because we would always haveall right.
You're going on it fast, pass orlightning you're going on it

(32:00):
and seeing the queue in the fall.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
No, yes, no, you can go through the queue and then
exit the queue like no, I'm ababy and be like I'm sorry, I
don't want to go, I'm out, youcan do that no, people do it.
Uh, anyway, but that that'sanother one.
Just because if you're, ifyou're one of those that you are
all about coasters, then youwant to start your day right off
the bat with one.
Then that's why I made my list.
It's a great one.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
Yeah, it was a walk-on.
When I went a few weeks ago itwas great.
Okay, all right.
So we asked y'all whatattractions you like to rope
drop and in the Magic Kingdom, swingy from Twitter said we
always rope drop seven dwarfs, mine train and then go straight
to thunder and splash.
Usually have them done withinan hour and we have gone right.
We have gone right a few timesfor space mountain and we will

(32:43):
hopefully be rope dropping tronnext year.
See what happens with the.
Uh the queue, yes, uh.
Sonja from facebook said peterpan's flight is what we did last
year.
And then space, space Mountain, mine Trainer, jungle Cruise
would be good choices.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Great choices yes.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
Trina from Facebook said that we always rope drop
Peter Pan's flight Another greatchoice.
And Britt Brooke from Instagramsaid Space Mountain.
That's the only correct answerout of all of those.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
No, again, you do what's best for your family.
And those were all great, greatresponses.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Yeah, so in Hollywood Studios Grace from Facebook
said Slinky Dog or Mickey andMinnie's Runaway Railroad.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Railway.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Railway, whatever.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Which that I wasn't even thinking that one earlier,
to be honest, because it's notone of our favorites, but that
is a good one yes.
Meh Again, depending on yourfamily.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Meh Sonia from Facebook said most of the rides
are rope drop worthy.
Yes, there's just so manyhitters in Hollywood studios
that you can't go wrong witheither one.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
you know, whichever you decide, yeah, I mean like
our list it was.
I mean, you go from, you knowStar Wars, hollywood Toy Story.
I mean yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Yeah, brian from Facebook said this is the way.
I don't know what that means.
Star Wars, galaxy's Edge,galaxy's Edge.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Probably Rise, are you going?

Speaker 3 (34:03):
to rope drop and see the Mandalorian and Grogu Just
wait for them to come out, sincethis is the way.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
And Trina from Facebook said Tower of Terror
Another great choice.
Jen's Magical Life fromInstagram said Slinky Dog Rise
of Resistance.
Or Mickey and Minnie's RunawayRailway.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
All good ones.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Beely8519 from Instagram said Tower of Terror.
So I'm going with everybody'sagreeing Tower of Terror is
probably the number one.
One, number one.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
There was a mix in there yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
And then Sweeney from Twitter said Tower of Terror in
there, yeah.
And then sweeney from twittersaid tower of terror, then rock
and roller coaster.
It's a more chilled rope dropcrowd than going to andy's
backyard and galaxy's edge.
100 completely agree with that, yeah that's true yep, uh.
Epcot center.
Erica from facebook said if I'mcoming from the international
gateway, I'm going straight toratatouille.
What's the internationalgateway?

Speaker 2 (34:50):
it's that side entrance, the side entrance.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Okay, see, I just know it as side entrance.
I didn't know, it was calledthe International.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Gateway.
Oh my gosh, I hope you'rereally kidding on that.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
No, I didn't know that.
That's what it's called.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
The International Gateway.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
I just thought it was side entrance.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
No but yeah, that side entrance over there,
because you're right there, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
I am, I am.
I didn't know it had an actualname, I just the side entrance
to Epcot.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
All parks need side entrances.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
I agree, they just do yes.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Brittany from Facebook.
You again Nope, Said Test Track.
Jen's Magical Life fromInstagram said Guardians.
Unfortunately, you have to havethe virtual queue or pay
Lightning Link for guardian.
It will eventually, I believeget out, but that queue is not a
very big queue, so you willhave to rope drop that because
it's going to get long.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Yeah, and I guess it'll back up outside.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
It will, I would imagine so yeah, In an animal
kingdom, Jen's magical life fromInstagram said flight of
passage and Brittany fromFacebook said flight of passage.
Yeah, that's, if it's yourfirst time going, that's a
definite rope drop, I wouldagree.
All right.
So that brings us to DisneyTrivia, talking about rope drop
attractions.
What was located where SlinkyDog Dash currently is?

(36:06):
Brittany, do you know?

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Well, I got it right on my second guess.
You did get it right on yoursecond guess, you guessed the
first time.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Was it lights motor action?
Yes, guess the first time.
Was it lights motor action?
Yes, yeah.
But then my second guess wasright the earful tower playoff
words like the eiffel tower.
Yeah, the earful, it was thewater tower with the mickey ears
on it.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Yes, that was located where slinky dog dash is now
very iconic back from the mgmdays oh yeah, I mean, I remember
seeing it when I was, Iremember seeing it when I went,
yep yeah, and the winner fromtwitter this week is at Logs to
Matt.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Congratulations at Logs to Matt, still on top.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Still on top.
So I had an idea for when we'rein California Adventure for
Disney Trivia that Thursday.

Speaker 2 (36:47):

Speaker 3 (36:49):
I'm not giving them an advance notice and expect a
live video Disney trivia fromCalifornia Adventure in two
weeks.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
