In 2020, Idaho made headlines as the first state to ban transgender women from women’s sports. The ban sparked a five-year legal battle led by Boise State student-athlete Lindsay Hecox that went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Now, Hecox is removing herself from the case — but is this the end of the story?
