Association Claudie T Felix Landsman, ACFL, represented by
Dominique Landsman, donated Landsman S audio archive to the

This now forms our Landsman Collection which we have been
working on cataloguing ever since.
Since 2023 the Landsman Collection together with show
was designated part of the WorldS Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

Selected original recordings follow Landsman's research and
provide insight into the multi layered memory of the show in
the 1970's. The recordings Voices from the

Historical by Valerie Paley, senior vice president, and Sue
Ann Weinberg, director of the Patricia D Klingenstein Library,

landmark documentary by French journalist and filmmaker Claude
Landsman, 1925 to 2018. Together with the film, this
archive was added to UNESCO as Memory of the World Register in
2023. The larger collection comprises
152 previously unknown cassette tapes documenting conversations

Landsman and his assistants heldthroughout the 1970s during the
years long research process thatpreceded filming.
The recordings capture preliminary interviews with
survivors, perpetrators, and bystanders of the Holocaust,
offering rare insight into the genesis of show while also

eyewitness testimony. Presented on the centenary of
Landsman S birth, the installation underscores the
enduring power of memory, testimony and the preservation
