Champion Lakes Golf Course in McAllen, Texas, is proud to be the host golf course for the Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier on Friday, May 2, 2025, starting at 2:00 p.m. Hosted in partnership with the Southern Texas Professional Golf Association (STPGA) and the McAllen Parks & Recreation Department, the event is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 15 years old. Participants will have three shots at each station and qualifying golfers will advance to the regional portion and a chance at the National Competition at Augusta National Golf Club, home of The Masters, where they will compete against junior golfers from across America. Registration is free and there are no skill level requirements to take part in the competition. You can be placed on a waitlist if the age bracket is full. Golf is a spectator sport.
