Lauren (00:00):
Hello, friends and loved ones.
In today's episode, we arechatting with us.
We're going into November andinto the slower introspective
season with intention and afistful of tarot cards.
I'm Lauren Leon.

Frank (00:13):
And I'm a jack of all trades, but a master of fun.

Lauren (00:17):
Oh, we are a married couple learning how to develop
our own intuition.
This one is episode 91 ofClaire Voyaging.
Wayfeather Media presents ClareVoyaging.
Hiya, pals.

Frank (00:50):
How's it going, guys?

Lauren (00:52):
Hey, we've got a great episode today.

Frank (00:54):
We're doing something a little bit different.

Lauren (00:57):
A little different.

Frank (00:58):
But a little the same.

Lauren (01:00):
I gotta tell you something.
I have to tell you something.
Listen, we had a very wellthought-out, well-recorded
episode for our milestone.
Two-year episode.
Two years of Clear Voyaging.
And guys, I pressed the wrongbutton.

Frank (01:19):
One little button can really change the world.

Lauren (01:22):
You might have noticed that about a week and a half
ago, two weeks ago, there was noepisode.
That's because Mama Bear pushedthe wrong Mama Bear put a big
Mama Bear put the wrong buttondown for audio.

Frank (01:39):
Mama Bear slapped her big bear paw on the wrong button.

Lauren (01:42):
Yeah.
And boy oh boy.
It's unusable.
And I think it sent Frank on ahigh blood pressure journey for
a few days.

Frank (01:54):
No joke.
Listen, I wasn't mad.
We all make mistakes, but thatdoesn't mean it doesn't suck.

Lauren (02:01):
It sucked so much.
We're gonna do a similar onebecause episode 100 is coming up
soon.

Frank (02:09):
We decided to put off the two-year anniversary until the
centennial.

Lauren (02:14):
The centennial.
So today we said, how about afull tarot spread for our pals
for November?
Because we're coming into thisquieter, slower season, which is
funny because the holidays getlike you're technically like
supposed to kind of slow down.

(02:35):
And I mean that's when speakingof bears, that's when they
start wanting to hibernate,right?
I think I think there's a beartheme going on this episode.

Frank (02:45):
For one of us.

Lauren (02:48):
And just like that, I'm gonna find every way I can to
bring up bears.
So challenge accepted.

Frank (02:55):
No one did that to you by myself.

Lauren (02:59):
So before we get into that though, just like some just
some housekeeping.

Frank (03:04):
Clean it up.

Lauren (03:05):
Can I say that?

Frank (03:06):
Yeah.

Lauren (03:07):
Five-star reviews are great and they help us reach
more people.

Frank (03:10):
Guys, throw up your bear paws.
Bears don't have five fingers,I don't think.
But let's let's get let's get afull bare paw five-finger
review.

Lauren (03:18):
A five pod a five clawed pod review.
And thank you so much inadvance.
Um, also, let's let's celebratebecause we got a couple new
Patreon members.
Welcome, Rachel.
Hey! Where's my button?
Rachel! Yeah, and welcome,guys.

Frank (03:42):
Thank you.

Lauren (03:43):
Reminder to join our Patreon and be part of the
Clairvoyaging community.
It's only four dollars permonth.
That's so cheap.
There he is.
And okay, guys, I want to tellyou something.
We have some cool guests linedup.
We finally have a human designexpert who is going to chat with

(04:04):
us soon.
So this is your warning.
This is your chance to look upyour human design type if you
don't know it yet.
Because we want you to be alittle informed before you hear
this interview so that you'renot like, what is this?
I'm just gonna skip thisepisode because it's really
cool.
So look up your type and yourprofile.

Frank (04:23):
And what do they need to do that?

Lauren (04:25):
Well, we use a great free app called Hume Des.

Frank (04:30):
It's hard to pronounce.
You know, it looks great onpaper.
Go to the app store if you'reon an iPhone.
I'm sure they have it for uhfor not iPhone also.

Lauren (04:38):
Probably.

Frank (04:38):
And uh it's called H-U-M-D-E-S-C-O-M.

Lauren (04:42):
Yeah.

Frank (04:42):
And it's a little orange icon, and it's probably the best
app I found.
And I did a lot of research.
Have you met me?
Have you met me?
I did a lot of research and Ifound this one.

Lauren (04:51):
And it's free, and all it asks for is your birthday,
your location of birth, and yourtime of birth.
So it's not taking anyinformation.
It won't ask you for yourcredit card, nothing like that.
And like we just think it wasreally cool.
So do that.
Do that.
And if you have extra time, bonus homework, get your
partner's type or your kids, because that's kind of

(05:11):
interesting to know.
You're like, oh, my partner's areflector.
This makes sense.

Frank (05:16):
Or you can do what Lauren does to me, and she's like, oh,
according to this, you're anasshole.
And I'm like, okay, not wrong.

Lauren (05:22):
But hold on one second, let me take a look at your
profile.
Yep.
The jury's out.
Or is it the jury's in?

Frank (05:30):
No, no, no.

Lauren (05:31):
No, I don't say that.
Only on bad days.

Frank (05:35):
Only on days when the microphone is off.

Lauren (05:40):
Okay.
So, Frank, do you want toexplain what we're doing today?

Frank (05:44):
We do a couple of quick uh beginning of the week tarot
pulls, and we decided this isthe beginning of a month.
Why not do something new?

Lauren (05:52):
Why not?

Frank (05:53):
Let's do a larger spread.
And according to the theme ofthe month, which is kind of like
reintegrating a little bit ofshadow work and introspection.
Yeah, that kind of stuff.

Lauren (06:01):
Yeah.

Frank (06:01):
We're doing a larger spread.
One of the spreads that wefound on Dr.
Elliott Adams' book.

Lauren (06:06):
Fearless Tarot.

Frank (06:07):
Fearless Tarot.
And the spread is called BringShadows to Light Spread.
Well, that sounds right in linewith what we're doing, doesn't
it?
Doesn't it though?
Doesn't it though?

Lauren (06:15):
I feel like it would be nice to just like go into this
month and into the quieterseason, the slowdown season,
which is funny because it's likethese are the very busy
holidays, but you're supposed tobe a little bit more subdued, a
little quieter, a littleslower.
This is when the bearshibernate, right?

Frank (06:36):
This is when the bears hibernate.
So here's what's gonna ifyou're watching on video, and I
recommend you do uh for thisone.
If not, it's okay, we'llexplain stuff.
Um, I'm gonna leave.

Lauren (06:47):
And you're not gonna go too far, right?

Frank (06:49):
I'm gonna go right over to my other secret desk that you
never get to see.

Lauren (06:52):
Yeah.

Frank (06:53):
And I'm bringing my mic and my headphones, and I'm gonna
be over there and I'm gonna doa whole top-down, like new
second camera spread.
You can see it's gonna bereally cool.

Lauren (07:03):
You'll be able to see the cards as he pulls them, and
I'll talk about what each cardmeans in its position.

Frank (07:10):
Yeah.

Lauren (07:10):
And what and then we'll pull a card.
Oh, also this spread, you haveto start with a significator,
which is like what is the cardthat best exemplifies you at
your best?
So because we're pulling forour collective, you are
listeners.
I said, I think when we're atour best, we are deepening our

(07:31):
intuition and we're healingourselves, and we're trusting
our inner wisdom.

Frank (07:37):
And we're all a bunch of badass mamas.
What'd you go with?

Lauren (07:40):
I went with the high priestess, babies.

Frank (07:42):
There she is.

Lauren (07:43):
I I mean, she's like full of uh inner wisdom and
intuition, so she's apowerhouse.
That's what we're going for,yeah?
Let's do it.
Yeah.
All right, and we're very newto doing tarot spreads, so this
is kind of a fun learningexperience.
And for those of you who arewell versed in tarot readings

(08:06):
and spreads, hold your judgment.

Frank (08:09):
Oh, yeah.
Go easy on us, please.

Lauren (08:11):
Be gentle with us.
We're just little puppies.

Frank (08:14):
Okay, so here we go.
From the top.
Card one.
Card one goes underneath.
Card two goes over.
Three goes right on top.
And then four, top left, five, top right, six, bottom left,
seven, bottom right.

(08:35):
And here we have the bringshadows to light spread.

Lauren (08:39):
Let's reveal them one at a time.

Frank (08:41):
One at a time.
Starting to go.
Okay.
What part what is number one?

Lauren (08:45):
What part of my life feels submerged in shadow?
This card will represent what'saffecting you unconsciously
beneath the surface.
So the information wishes to beunderstood and brought to
light.
What part of my life feelssubmerged in shadow?

Frank (09:02):
And the reveal.
The knight of swords.
Upright.
Alright, guys.
Knight of Swords.
This guy, this guy is kind of ajerk, you know?
He's going, he's moving toofast.
He's running over people.
Look at the horse.
Look at the horse.

Lauren (09:19):
The horse is a little terrified.

Frank (09:22):
The horse does not like his rider.
Anyway, he's this card issupposed to represent that we
are not taking care of ourselvesand we're just rushing towards
our goal and not really enjoyingthe ride.

Lauren (09:32):
So, card number two.
What part of my life isreturning to the light?

Frank (09:38):
Returning to the light, let's see.

Lauren (09:40):
This is gonna reveal what's bubbling up from your
spirit.
What's coming up to thesurface?

Frank (09:45):
King of Swords.

Lauren (09:46):
Oh.
If it's something that it'skind of a challenging card, this
is something your spirit isreleasing.
And if it's uplifting, this isa sign of what you are becoming.
So I'd say this is achallenging card.
And that your spirit isreleasing rigidity.
The king of swords, he's likeprotecting himself under armor

(10:07):
and it makes him appear reallyrigid.
And if you are just kind oflike sticking to your guns too
much, maybe release some of thatand go with the flow a little
bit better.

Frank (10:18):
Listen, guys, I have a very difficult relationship with
the king of swords.
Let's take a closer look athim.
You know what this guy thinkshe is?
This guy thinks he's a shit.
You want to know why?
Because he is the man.
He's the man.
When I say that, I mean like hethinks he's got it all figured
out.
It's my way or the highway.
And uh, you know what?

(10:41):
He's like, look at look at theon the here, look at the
symbolism.
He's got he's sitting on athrone that's got a stone
butterfly in it.
You know, butterflies aren'tsupposed to be set in stone,
they're supposed to be flying, they're doing the right thing,
they're out there living life, being free, being authentic.

Lauren (10:55):
And what do butterflies represent?
Change, transformation, and ifit's set in stone, it can't
change.

Frank (11:03):
Can't really do it, can it?
So this looks like we arereleasing rigidity.

Lauren (11:07):
Do that.

Frank (11:09):
What's number three?

Lauren (11:10):
Card three is what wisdom am I gaining from my
present circumstance?
This is the card that's goingto highlight the lessons that
you're learning from theexternal world.
So, what am I gaining?
What am I what wisdom am Igaining?

Frank (11:24):
What wisdom are we gaining?
Right on top of the highpriestess.
She wow, that's funny.
Another matriarch.
We got the queen of swordsreversed.

Lauren (11:33):
Oh.

Frank (11:34):
This feels complicated.
The Queen of Swords is wearinga crown that has butterflies on
it.
And that that is in that is instark contrast to the stone
butterfly that we were lookingat before.
And uh Dr.
Elliott Adams says that thatmeans that she is the um

(11:55):
professional person of turningvictimhood into victory.
You can't have yourauthenticity set in stone like
that.
You know, she's she's madesomething that maybe, maybe,
maybe what this is saying so faris that we were um at risk here
of leaning into our victimhoodand setting our life
circumstances around thatvictimhood, when instead we

(12:16):
really need to be using that toprop ourselves up and say, look
what we can do.
We can do hard things and wecan overcome stuff.

Lauren (12:22):
Yeah.
I mean, like, and also whatwisdom am I gaining from my
present circumstance?
If it's a ch if you're in achallenging circumstance and
you're not using the lesson aswisdom, then you're just kind of
like, it's just a wastedexperience.
This is coming from a trial anderror person who is meant to

(12:46):
turn uh trauma and experiencesinto wisdom.
So of course I would say that, right?
Elliot also talks about usingyour words wisely because the
the queen of swords can be alittle bit biting with her tone,
and things are already hard.
So let's kind of go into theexternal world with kindness and

(13:09):
a little bit of a softer tone,if that applies.

Frank (13:12):
Well, look, someone who is saying my way is the highway,
or someone who has a tendencywho is wise with her words.
You know, the truth is that wecan uh be wise with our words
and prop people up instead ofcoming down on people and being
being rude, right?
So this is what this tells meis there's an opportunity to
rewrite your narrative here.
Don't rush through, don't rushthrough things, don't be tough,

(13:35):
don't be so rigid and strict.
Be wise with your words and usethose old narratives to boost
yourself up.
That's what I'm seeing so far,Lauren.
What do you think?

Lauren (13:43):
Yeah, yeah.
I would say that spot on.
Um, so let's move on to cardnumber four.
What currently needs to feelsupported?
This is where your energy needsto be strengthened and
reinforced.
Here's where a lesson needs tobe accepted so that you can have
progress moving forward.
So, what currently needs tofeel supported?

Frank (14:05):
Card number four is reversed seven of cups.

Lauren (14:09):
Okay, so what currently needs to feel supported with
this card, you need to actuallytake take action with your
dreams, right, Frank?

Frank (14:21):
Well, it's the card.
This is the I'm I'm going withthe neglected lesson uh
interpretation of this one.

Lauren (14:27):
Okay.

Frank (14:28):
I would say that uh we're doing too much dreaming and not
enough doing.

Lauren (14:32):
Yeah.

Frank (14:33):
All your the things that you want in your life, uh, you
know, you imagine, you dreambig, you think of all these
things, and like sometimes youcarry them out, you might live
it out in your head, and youjust don't actually take the
first physical 3D step intogetting into it.
I would say that maybe we'reneglecting to take that first
step and just get it done andget into it.
You can't make your dreams cometrue without doing any just a

(14:53):
little bit of work, just alittle bit of work, guys.

Lauren (14:55):
Yeah.

Frank (14:56):
It's and that's okay.
This is great because it doessay that you've been dreaming
pretty big and that you've got alot of cool things that you're
interested in.
But like, let's go get it now.

Lauren (15:05):
This reminds me, I'm I'm in this leadership program
right now.
And she's sort of like a mentorwho's leading this program, and
she told me, You have a lot ofideas, and it's time to get your
hands in the clay.
And I was like, Oh, yeah.
Because I could just keeptalking about things, but until
I actually like try and do it,nothing's gonna move forward.

(15:28):
So I feel like that's that'svery in line with this card.

Frank (15:33):
Now all we need is some clay.

Lauren (15:35):
Now all we need is some clay.

Frank (15:38):
Yeah, but getting out there, taking those first steps
and and actually doing it is ahuge deal.
I've known lots of people witha lot of cool ideas and they
don't do anything.
And it's like a bummer becauseyou want to see them win and you
want that you want to see themsucceed.
But at a certain point, youknow, and this is about the
collective, right, guys?
It's time.
It's time.

Lauren (15:57):
Get those answers.

Frank (15:58):
You might even be called to action in some way, and it's
time to just like flex, right?
Let's let's go get it.

Lauren (16:03):
Okay.
Uh, I think it's time for cardnumber five.

Frank (16:07):
Card number five, y'all ready?

Lauren (16:08):
It's card five.

Frank (16:10):
Wait, tell us what card five is before I pull it.

Lauren (16:11):
What wisdom will I gain from listening to the voice
within?
It'll reveal the skills youwill master if you listen to the
wisdom from within yourself.

Frank (16:21):
Wait, can I ask a question?

Lauren (16:22):
Yeah.

Frank (16:23):
How's that different from card three?

Lauren (16:25):
Oh, I because card number three is more about the
external world, and card numberfive appears to be more about
the wisdom within.
So, what wisdom will you gainif you listen to your own voice
as opposed to what wisdom willyou gain from the present
circumstances that you're under?

Frank (16:44):
I see.
So here we go.
Inner wisdom.
We are a go for inner wisdom.
Cinco.
Oh, one of the best ones.
We don't talk about this cardenough.
We've got the Ten of Pentacles.

Lauren (16:57):
Oh, Ten of Pentacles.

Frank (17:00):
You got 10 pennies, and that's plenty.
Daddy likes this one so much.

Lauren (17:05):
I was gonna say, Frank really likes this card.

Frank (17:08):
This card.
Let me tell you why.
Can I tell you why?
Can I tell you why?

Lauren (17:11):
Go go on, go on.

Frank (17:12):
So this is the card of achievements.
It's the card of listen, I'mnot a big legacy guy.
I uh, you know, I'm I'm herewhen I'm here, and I'm gonna do
what I can do.
But this is like we're this isin the position of inner wisdom,
right?
This is like when you'renearing the uh the golden years
of your life, and you are ableto look back at all the things

(17:32):
you've done.
Look at this old fart.
Look at this guy.
Look at this guy.
But look at what he's got.
He's got his puppies here, he'sgot his, I don't know, like
what, some kids maybe?
Those are his kids, they're allgrown up, they're doing okay.

Lauren (17:46):
Look at that house.
What the hell?
He's got a nice one.

Frank (17:50):
Listen, he's going, damn, you know what?
That's what I'm about, isn'tit?
Though these are the thingsthat I actually care about.
So I think so far what thespread is telling us to do is
say, what are the things that wereally care about?
Why are we not going after it?
Why can't we uh reassess ourlives and and uh and in a way
where when we get there, when weget to that nice ripe old age

(18:12):
of and we're just stinky, and wedon't care though.
We're stinky old people, and wedon't care because look what we
did.
Is this show Aegist?

Lauren (18:24):
So I feel like just like answering the question of the
card number five is what wisdomwill I gain from listening to
the voice within?
Like, there's something reallyimportant to trusting yourself.
Like if you listen to the voicewithin, you will get to the

(18:47):
part of your life where you'rereally proud of the the work
you've accomplished and thethings that you've done because
you've stayed true to what'sinside of you.

Frank (18:56):
And what you're about.
That sounds nice.

Lauren (18:59):
That sounds so nice.
Uh you know, yeah, even ifyou're old and stinky.

Frank (19:03):
Even if you're old and stinky.
Hey, spirit guides, can we endit here?
Or is it oh oh no?
No, okay.
We we still have we still havetwo cards.
That's fine.
That's fine.
Hey, hey Lauren, what's numbersix?

Lauren (19:14):
Okay, number six is what opportunities are being
presented to me.
This card will show you whatareas of your life have the most
growth if you can heed the callof your inner wisdom.

Frank (19:25):
All right, and the card.
Flip.

Lauren (19:28):
Oh, this is a this is a big one for Frank.

Frank (19:33):
This one really spooks me because I'm two years into
completely basing my life off ofthis card.
We have the two of swords.

Lauren (19:41):
I feel like this one is so interesting because it it
kind of it's about thein-between, it's about balance.

Frank (19:48):
It is about the in-between.
And can I say?
Mm-hmm.
Can I say?
Whoof.
The two of swords.
I think it's a lady.
This person, so let's see, thewater represents emotion, right?
She's got the two swords, butshe's blindfolded, so she's
operating.
Absolutely out of intuition, but look, she's on stable

(20:09):
ground.
So, what this card means inthis context of uh the
opportunities that we haveavailable to us if we are
listening to ourselves andlistening to the direction that
the uh universe is pushing usin.
This is meaning that theopportunity is in the selection.
We are at a crossroads, fellasand fellets.

(20:33):
But our our biggest opportunityis in our availability to make
a selection right now.
And and that there's no rightway to do it, but and that's why
it's an opportunity.
That's why there's no this is avery symmetrical card aside
from that moon, right?

(20:54):
Like there's no wrong choice tomake, but you make it out of
your intuition and make it outof your own authenticity.

Lauren (21:01):
Remember to focus on the magic and the the serenity of
the in-between.
Like we're we're rushing soquickly all the time, just like
card number one, rushing pastthings, right?
That we sometimes don't allowourselves to embrace the magic
of transformation and like themagic of the in-between and what

(21:21):
what happens when you're inthat space.

Frank (21:24):
This woman is a woman in transition, and she's she's
rocking it, she's okay with thatthat change.
So uh yeah, I still think inthe context of this card,
opportunities.
The opportunity is that you aresitting in a spot where
anything can happen and you getto choose what's next.

Lauren (21:39):
Yeah.
That's pretty cool.
I love that.
And card number seven brings usto the final card in this
spread, which is where do I needto direct my love right now?
So this is going to tell youwhere your love can be applied
to bring about resolution.
Card number seven.

(22:00):
Frankie boy.

Frank (22:01):
Let's flip it.

Lauren (22:02):
Flip the card.

Frank (22:03):
Let's flip it.

Lauren (22:07):
Oh.

Frank (22:09):
The tower card.
Guys, are we are we in themiddle of some big changes right
now?
Hey.
Is this I mean, to pull thisfor the collective?
I mean, holy cannoli.

Lauren (22:21):
Wow.
Really feeling that one.

Frank (22:23):
I mean, the ability to direct love towards the tower
and the changes that the towerrepresents.
I mean, what are we looking at?

Lauren (22:32):
So if we're going to direct our love towards
anything, we can direct ittowards change and towards
transformation.
So much of this spread has beenabout slowing down, which is
funny because that's what wewere talking about for November,

(22:52):
and embracing change.
Don't be so rigid.
Um, allow yourself to be in thein the in-between, right?
And doing all of those thingsis going to allow you to get to
the part of yourself that youwant to be.

Frank (23:10):
You know, something I always think about.
You guys ever run into someoneand they're just like, oh, I
don't believe in astrology atall.
And then you're like, oh, justwait, I'm gonna blow your mind.
And then you like read them agood astral uh astrological
reading, and you're like, damn, that actually doesn't really
sound like you right now.
And you know, I've had a theoryfor a long time.
Can I tell you what it is?
Hmm.

(23:30):
My theory is that they havestrayed so far from their
natural, authentic uh way ofbeing, which is written in the
stars, that that it theirastrolog their astrology charts
almost don't even reallyresemble them anymore.
When the tower card comes up,like we are really talking about

(23:51):
getting back to where you knowwe've maybe strayed too far in
the wrong direction, and we needto get ourselves back on track.
And on track isn't someoneelse's track, on track is back
on our track, back on our track, back back into our our again,
our authentic living, ourauthentic wants, our needs, what
we want our legacy to be, whatwe want our legacy projects to

(24:12):
look like.
Lauren, if if I if you don'tmind, can I tell you a quick
story?

Lauren (24:15):
Go on, go, go right ahead.

Frank (24:18):
This is called the story of the bringing shadows to light
spread.
First, it looks like the verystrong, powerful high priestess
ready to just blow up.
And how do we get there?
How do we get there?
If those if those are the railsthat we want to be on, then the
story looks something likethis.
What does our shadow look likeright now?

(24:39):
And that was represented by theKnight of Swords, and that is
that we're going too fast.
We're going too fast.
We're really not payingattention to what we should be
paying attention to.
We don't care who gets in theway, we're going to run them
over.
That's not the right way to be.
Gotta take care of that horse,yo.
You know, and then with thesecond card, we have the
returning to light and thereleasing, with it, which was

(24:59):
the knight of swords.
And the knight of swords is allabout that rigidity, right?
That again, those thoselimiting mindsets that we don't
need to really live into.
And we're ready to uh maybemove on a little bit, let those
butterflies fly.
And then from there, what do wedo?
We pull card number three, which is the reversed queen of
swords.
And, you know, she's all aboutthat that gaining wisdom through

(25:23):
external forces, right?
But take a quick look at thatbutterfly crown.
What is it telling us?
She can turn victimhood intobeing victorious.
And that's what we're lookingfor right now.
That's what wisdom we can gain.
So, and not just for ourselves, but for others.
We need to, we need to be kindto ourselves, be kind to others,
and let sure make sure thatsome of that, some of those

(25:44):
butterflies can fly.
Oh, it's a beautiful futurethey're flying into.
Card number four, we're lookingat the seven of cups reversed.
It's the neglected lesson.
Are we dreaming too big and nottaking first steps?
Guys, we gotta do it, but shit.
What do I do?
I I have so many dreams.
Look, there's seven of them, atleast.

(26:04):
Well, why don't we go and referto our inner wisdom a little
bit, guys?
That would be card number five, the Ten of Pentacles.
This is the the inner wisdomcard.
And let me tell you, this isthe card of your achievements,
your legacy projects, the thingsthat you want to achieve.
This is how you get yourfulfillment.
This is how you trust yourself.
This guy's got everything hewants.

(26:25):
You know what?
He's remembering.
I remember.
I remember.
That's what he's saying, olddude on there.
Talked a lot about about a lotabout how fardy he is and
stinky, but that's okay.
You know what he did here?
He built a whole ass life thathe absolutely loves.
And he did that by referring tohis inner wisdom.

(26:46):
He knows what he wants.
Think about it this way, guys.
When you're uh 95 years old andyou're sitting in your
beautiful soft robe, you got arocking chair that you you paid
primo dollars for.
God damn it, it's the nicestthing you've ever sat on in your
life.
You're surrounded by friendsand family.
They love it.
This is the best Thanksgivingever.
Uncle Jim didn't come.
He sucks, anyways.
You know, talk about Knight ofSwords.

(27:07):
What a jerk.
Like, this is the best day ofyour life.
Who did this?
You did this.
Now, what do you need to do toget to that level?
That's where your inner wisdomcomes in.
That's such a nice card.
I got lots to say about thatone.
Now, let's talk about numbersix, though.
Okay, what's this all about?
Six is the opportunities thatwe need to heed.
We got something looking us,staring us, staring at us right

(27:29):
in the face right now.
And and what does it look like?
It looks like the two ofswords.
What does that look like?
It's the opportunity to choose.
We're sitting in a magic periodof time right now where we we
might have the ability to reallyreassess.
It might feel a littleuncomfortable.
It might feel a littleuncomfortable right now, but
this is where we have the chanceto really take that.

(27:54):
We're looking macro over herein this opportunity we have
right now.
At the end of the year, we'reway up there.
We can see ourselves from adifferent point of view, and
we're like, wait a minute, waita minute.
I think I know exactly that nowis the time to take that first
step to get those things that wewant, right?
And and what does that resultin?
Uh were we maybe consideringthat this entire situation has

(28:17):
been a little uncomfortable, ourour entire disposition in life
has been a little uncomfortable, but that this is actually where
the magic is happening.
Is it is there a chance thatall the discomfort and things
that seem to be falling apart isactually where we should be
directing our love card numberseven, the tower?
Is there a chance that maybethis was always meant to be and

(28:39):
it's the thing that we should bedoing?
Guys, this is the greatequalizer.
I mean, if everything fallsapart, even if just a little bit
falls apart, that gives us achance to start over again and
in a direction that actuallyfeeds the legacy that we want to
have and the legacy we want toleave behind.
This feels real nice.

(29:01):
What do you think, Lauren?

Lauren (29:05):
I feel like you were just really in the flow, and you
that was quite a story.

Frank (29:13):
I I I I didn't tell the story.
The guides did.
The cars did.

Lauren (29:20):
I like this story.
Is that all we got now?
Alright, that's cool.
Yeah.
I mean, you I feel like youcaptured it all really nicely.
You wrapped it all up, and thisis how you bring your your
shadows to light.

Frank (29:38):
You know what?
Here's what I've got.
I've got one more thing to say.
I'm gonna walk over to the maincamera real quick.
One second.

Lauren (29:44):
Just come hold this like a Vegas singer.
Welcome back.

Frank (29:53):
When I was It's not on! It's better that way.
It was a very good year.
It was a very good yeast.
I don't does anyone know allthe words of that song?

Lauren (30:07):
Yeah.

Frank (30:08):
Nope.
Not one person.
It's lost to history.
I'm not wearing my headphonesfor anything.

Lauren (30:13):
Historians are still trying to find and piece
together the lost lyrics.
The Frank Sinatra classic.

Frank (30:22):
There are only hieroglyphs left of what the
lyrics might have been.
Why'd I come?

Lauren (30:28):
It was a very good year in springtime.
Um I I no one knows the words.
And it might not even be inspringtime.

Frank (30:39):
Um yeah.
Guys, we don't we haven't donea big spread like this.
We've only done it really liketwo or three times over here on
our own.

Lauren (30:47):
Yeah.

Frank (30:47):
If you like this, I'm gonna leave a poll.

Lauren (30:49):
That was maybe This one's gonna have a poll.

Frank (30:51):
Yeah.
It was maybe a long walk, youknow, but I think it might have
been worth it at the end.
Yeah.
I feel better about it,honestly.
Can I give you some anecdotesreal quick?
I am moving too fast like anasshole.
And I maybe am not always beingvery nice.
We're still, you know, likefreaking around figuring out
some stuff over here.

Lauren (31:09):
Frank does have a tendency to want to get to the
next thing.
And sometimes, like, I am aslow person.

Frank (31:17):
I like to I believe in the power of momentum, and that
I believe is a good thing.
In fact, if you look behind myshoulder, we actually kind of
have a permanent tarot card upright here, and it is the ace of
wands, and that is the card ofmomentum.
And because we're in the middleof a lot of there's a lot of
things right now going on, atleast for us, and I think for

(31:39):
for the co-arct of of momentum.
There's some momentum that isneeded to that needs to be
captured.
Blah, blah, blah, but at whatcost?
Right?
There's a good way to do thatand there's a bad way to do
that.

Lauren (31:49):
Yeah.

Frank (31:50):
And I think in the the situation we're looking at right
here, it's really telling us tomake sure that the that
momentum and that like tunnelvision we have, let's not like
let's not make it a devastatingthing.
Let's make it something thatfeeds part of that that legacy,
those legacy projects that we'rebuilding.
Or, you know, if you're notlike a project-oriented person,
just those those like big legacygoals you have that you really

(32:12):
want to reach.
And they're worth reaching aslong as they serve you and your
entire family.
And that's what that that'swhat that card's all about.

Lauren (32:21):
Yeah.

Frank (32:22):
Or your friends or you know, your chosen family,
whatever it might be.

Lauren (32:24):
As we as we roll into November with introspection, I
feel like this was a great agreat spread.
Let us know what you think, though.
This was a fun experiment.

Frank (32:37):
With our hands held by the good doctor.

Lauren (32:40):
Tightly held by Elliot Oracle's wise guidance.
He doesn't know how much wetalk about him.

Frank (32:49):
I think he does.
We started tagging him.

Lauren (32:50):
We did, we did, but but to what extent he really doesn't
truly know.

Frank (32:54):
No, he's a household name daily.
Daily.
Some people are like TaylorSwift, and I'm like Dr.
Elliot Adam.

Lauren (33:02):
Of course, yes.
So, with that, we love you, andwe'll see you next time.

Frank (33:08):
See you next week.
Leave.

Lauren (33:10):
Bye.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
