Miss Juliette Gunn is go figure.

road in this episode.
(00:35):
So, hey, welcome.
Welcome back to episode numbertwo, Class Act, our amazing
podcast all about education.
Our amazing podcast all abouteducation.
And today we wanted to talkabout why teaching is the best
job in the universe.
Some people may agree, somepeople may disagree, but we feel
(00:57):
teaching is just simply thebest job in the universe.
There's so many things that welove about teaching.
There's so many things that wejust love every day about
teaching, and teaching truly isthe best job in the universe for
many reasons.
And you talk to teachers.
We definitely don't do it forthe money, Lord knows.
We don't do it for the money, but we do it because we want to
(01:19):
make a difference and that'sjust a huge reason why we think
teaching is one of the reasonsthat teaching is the best job in
the universe Making connections, making connections with young
people and just really plantingthe seed of knowledge for them
for the rest of their life andyou take great satisfaction in
(01:40):
how their life turns out.
If you do it long enough like me, if you can believe it 28 years
of teaching you'll see themturn out to be awesome, great,
productive adults.
And there's just so manyreasons why teaching is the best
job in the universe.
We talked about making adifference, making an impact.
It's just gosh.
(02:03):
Where do we begin?
I'm excited to hear what Julietthinks about that, but again, I
just wanted to share with you acouple of reasons why I feel
teaching is the best job in theuniverse.
Just with connections, like Imentioned earlier, as well as
having those aha moments when astudent understands a concept
they've been struggling with, and having those aha moments,
(02:25):
you have that teacher euphoria,I call it that teacher high and
the joy and excitement theybring back to the classroom.
It kind of really makes thateffort all worthwhile.
Another reason constantlearning, creativity.
I am a big believer in allowingkids to be creative.
Where do I begin?
(02:48):
There's so many reasons.
So in the next segment I want tohear from Miss Juliet, and Miss
Juliet's going to share with uswhat she thinks, why she thinks
teaching is the best job in theuniverse.
Hey friends, mr ken newton back.
(03:17):
What a cool song.
That reminds me of going tocuba.
Um, very cool song, hey, um, mrken newton back here with
episode number two, why teachingis the best job in the world.
And I told you that MissJuliette Gunn isn't here live,
but she would make a guestappearance in our episode number
(03:38):
two because we have to hearfrom Miss Juliette Gunn.
So, without further ado, here'sMiss Juliette Gunnte Gunn
talking about why she thinksthat teaching is the best job in
the universe.
So here she is on tape, friends.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Gunn here.
Why is teaching the best jobever?
Well, first of all, you make areally big impact on these kids.
You help shape their minds, youinspire them to grow, really
make a difference in their heart.
You're always there for themand you see all their success
that they make.
But, but.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
But, and I agree, and
guess what, friends, we're
going to talk about the buts inthe next episode.
Lots of butts, isn't that thetruth?
Lots of butts.
And we're going to talk aboutthe butts of education in the
next episode.
So, after the next segment, orin the last segment, I should
say I'll give you a littlepreview of the butts of
(04:40):
education.
So don't get us wrong Teachingis amazing, but yes, friends,
there's a lot of butts.
So, anyways, one more segment.
(05:08):
Hey, friends, hey, last segmentof episode two why teaching is
the best job in the universe.
And you heard a little bitabout my opinion, you heard from
Miss Juliet on tape.
But yes, friends, we're goingto give a little preview of the
butts of education, and what wemean by that is, we feel this is
(05:29):
the best job in the universe.
However, but there are somethings that tend to get in the
way of this job being the bestjob in the universe, and I think
, if you talk to differentteachers, some of theses are
long hours, limited resources, high expectations and
(05:50):
accountability, constant change,balancing relationships, so
many challenges and the diverseneeds of kids, classroom
management and really, lastly, kind of the emotional investment
that you put in as a teacher, but really I think when the job
(06:14):
gets tough, I mean teachers arein this job to make a difference
.
So we'll talk more about thesein the next episode.
But thanks for hanging out withus.
Episode number two of Class Act.
And really, miss Juliet and MrKen Newton really feel that
teaching is the best job in theuniverse, but there are some
(06:34):
things that get in the way andwe'll talk about those in
episode three.
So have a lovely weekend.
It is February 7th, valentine'sDay, around the corner, and
we'll talk to you next time, allright, peace.
