It's such an amazing song. How did that cloud come about?

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
So?

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Actually Yeah, this summer I rented out a house Amattle.
I'm invited all my close collaborators out for a week.
Some good food I have so I just wanted to
cultivate a good vibe.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
To people create good music.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
So during one of those days, I was like, you
know what, I got to work with this artist Jazi
and reached out and then we finally made it happen.
And it was like down to the wire too, because
it was about nine pm. People were getting kind of tired.
But she texted me like, oh, I'm going to come through,
like just trust me and coming through. So she came
through and then I had to beat. We made to
be actually that day too, and I just loaded it

(02:26):
up in the first beat I played and she was like,
that's it, and then she recorded and everything happened in
a matter of ninety minutes. So there's just magic in
the air and malibulle and we just created that that song,
and I'm so excited that's out and people are like
really vibing, loving it. So yeah, I'm happy about that.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I love that that happened so fast, especially like you
guys are already in Malibu, You're already there, and then
you get a text from her. She came like, oh yeah,
she's history. You made an amazing song.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Thank you. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
This is Clubline Countdown with Jim Palm Tree Music Festival
kicked off in Sippy last night. The lineup's massive with Daya,
the Chainsmokers, and DJ producer Austin Mills. He does join
us now, how's he been figured as well? Working on
new music?

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Oh, it's twenty twenty five is gonna be jam packed
for new music. I want to tell you guys some
new things and an announcement of news, but it's still
on the wraps. But just know that I'm gonna be
feeding the people with a lot of new music and
I'm excited for people to hear the sound the evolution
of it, and yeah, it's gonna have you know, get
the dance floor is going.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
So I'm super excited about that in the new year.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I love that because I love with your sound as well,
and your music is very unique and like in the
production as well, like I kind of feel like it's magical,
like certain bits in there.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
I'm like, this is Yeah, I'm so excited thinking about
that that you noticed that. I'm so I'm such like
a student of the game and I love the legends
and I love that's making the sounds really feel good
and hitting that chakra so people could really feel it
in their heart. And I just want people to dance
across the world.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
That's the mission.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
What's been inspiring you with the new music?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Honestly, what's finnishspiring me?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
It's kind of like going back into like the nineties house,
eighties house, seeing how it was in New York, Chicago
and Detroit, and like looking at o YouTube videos and
trying to restore that feeling and trying to bring that
into twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
That's really doing my inspiration.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I'm so excited to hear the new music.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
And last year as well, you released.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Breath Work, which is so amazing. You worked with so
incredible artists, including Estelle. What was it like working with her?

Speaker 5 (04:23):
She's such a lot, She's so iconic, She's so refreshing.
Just working with her, like being in an actress studio
with her and creating that. I was honored to me
and her presidence and for her allowed me to She
allowed me to go on her space, and I allowed
her to come on MySpace and we kind of just
met in the middle and we made freeway and I
was so happy about that. It just you know, every
time that song plays like it makes me feel happy

(04:44):
and shide and yeah, that was great.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Like what can you say.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Lisa is popline Countdown were the gem. We are joined
by DJ producer Austin Mills. He's in the country for
the Palm Tree Music Festival. Congratulations you're on the lineup
for Coachella next year, which is massive.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
I can't wait that it's really one of my It
was on my bucket lists for years, and you know,
every time I started the new year, I make her
to do like a goal list. It's always on the
top of the list. So for it to finally happen,
I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
And I've got to wrap it round of questions for you.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?
You could have a superpower? What would it be?

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I would love to how do what do you call
it when you just can be anywhere quickly?

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Teleportations?

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Yeah, tele teleport no flying planes and teleport everywhere.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
What's your emotions emoji?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I think probably prayers a.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Good one. And how would you describe your music?

Speaker 4 (05:41):
A breath of fresh air, lover.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
And guilty, pleasure song.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
You'll see pleasure song, Let me sweet Caroline.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Oh, that's such a good one.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
What's something that you can't live without.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I love food honestly, so I just it's for seven
cool product.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Pasties, past something on your bucket list you'd like.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
To achieve this time, this time next year, I would
love to come back to all show you.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
You know, I would love to do a tour in Australia.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
That's going to happen next year. You'll be back here touring.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Let's manifested.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Thank you so much for the chat. A joined by
Rupert I'll peeking dark. Hello, welcome to the show.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Hey, thanks for having me.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Thank you for joining us. It's so good that you're
back in Camber, your hometown.

Speaker 6 (06:30):
Oh, it's the best.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
The love It must be so cool as well over
the years, like coming back to Camber your hometown performing
because like you'd have you know, friends, you know, family
come and see your shows and obviously your fans as well.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
But it's so cool for them.

Speaker 7 (06:43):
Oh, it's so sick and it's so fun that we're
still playing new venues like Amba just is so sick
like that, like no everywhere else. It's like you probably
hit the same venue every time exactly something.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
How good would that be a kick on set at moves.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
It's so cool as well, how the Bunnings Rave started.
What was it like seeing that obviously Bunnings, no one's
done what you guys have done with that.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
I think it's so.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Cool how it started that, Yeah, it was crazy.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
I mean Kyler, the young DJ on TikTok, started by
doing some remix of the Bunnings theme song and he
goes petitioning for a Bunnings Rave and then we commented
on it, just being like can we black and then
somehow and then we did our own remix of the
Bunnings Rave.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
We're like, this is fine, let's get everyone.

Speaker 7 (07:28):
Behind this, and then the whole country got behind this
and it just we've never seen the internet take off
like that, not for us at least, Like that was
insane and yeah, it was cool seeing everyone band together
for that. Yeah, I think, you know, it's a thing.
We should probably keep going doing these warehouse parties. I mean,
that's why the vault felt so good.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
It's like, keep the warehouse vibe alive.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
It's very you guys as well, like doing something different
like that, which I love like and I saw as
well on TikTok. There was a guy at a school
who asked you guys to go to his graduation.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Oh yeah, you would have.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Made his year going there.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
I think we might have.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
It was pretty nuts. Just sent the cutest email. It
was like, hey, guys, meke a big fan. So I've
got a school formal coming up. And it was his
year ten school form and he goes and I'd really
love it if you guys wanted to come and dj.
My sister has a massive speaker and it'd be sick.
And then he goes and it was something like afterwards,
real official. He goes, okay, so if you have any

(08:28):
other queries, please hit me on this, and then he
goes kindest of kind regards Kai mcfan and I'm like, ah,
this guy is the biggest legend ever. And to cold
email and we're like, okay, a shooting shot and it happened.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
That's it. Big message here, shoot your shot, Always shoot
your shot.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
And how's it been working on new music? You guys
been busy touring, traveling a lot. How's that been?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Oh it's been so fun.

Speaker 7 (08:55):
So I can't believe in you know, fifteen years of
picking up, we have never done an album, and for
some reason we've managed to, you know, go against the
grand because everyone does albums, and then now that everyone's
doing singles, we're like, you know what, let's do an album.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I love that. So there's a peaking Duck album.

Speaker 7 (09:13):
It's coming, it's in the works. It's I'm going to
make up a day look forward to the Duck album
in March. I made that up, but you know it'll
probably get pushed back. But I'm so excited with I
guess being on a cool creativejourney. It feels like we're
kids in Adam's backyard and Hackett again just like so excited.
Like when you're doing singles, you're kind of I don't know,

(09:35):
hoping for each one to.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
Do well or something like that, and it changes your
style and.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
I guess being an album mode, which is so giddy,
and we're like, oh, there's no rules.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Now.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
I've got a rapid round of questions for you. You
can have a superpower, what would it be teleportation?

Speaker 7 (09:51):
Because I spend half my life in transit.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
And who's someone that you'd love to collaborate with.

Speaker 7 (09:56):
I'm just going to say I would love to collaborate
with again because they're Canberra heroes and the best music
we've done has been with them, and I love them.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
And how do you describe your music in three words?

Speaker 6 (10:08):
Sweaty, fun and emotional.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
What's a guilty pleasure song?

Speaker 7 (10:12):
I'm going to say to the Moon and back Savage Garden.
That has to happen every night and it was my
favorite when I was like.

Speaker 6 (10:20):
Six years old too, so stood the test of time.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
And what is your most used emoji at the moment?

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Chili? Oh yeah, I made that. I don't even know.
But what's yours?

Speaker 2 (10:33):
I would say probably the heart?

Speaker 6 (10:36):
Oh the hand heart?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (10:38):
Do you use it like snidie though someone goes, oh,
can you do you ask someone to do something? You're like,
I'd love it if you did this for me.

Speaker 6 (10:45):
Yeah, thank you so much. Hand, I'll take three lattes.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Hand and thank you so much. So lovely chatting with
you again.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
Thank you for having me in here. It's bloody awesomecuse.
