the world, as voted by you. Hello, It's yeah, hanging
out with you for your Saturday night. I cannot wait
to introduce you to Melbourne indie pop trio Blusher. They
also opened for Kylie Minogue a few weeks ago in
(00:27):
Hyde Park, which is massive and so much new music
on the show Joe Jonas, David Gheta Casso and you
know how little Mix. They went on our hiatus back
in twenty twenty two, and Leanne and Perry have released
their solo singles. Well, We've been waiting for the last
member to release their debut single.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Which is Jade.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I was watching the music video and it's literally like
a mini film like I.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Was shot watching it. Go and check it out.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Let's get on Jay's debut single. It's called Angel of
My Dreams on Club Lime Countdown with Jem. These is
Clublime Countdown with Gem. I'm so excited to introduce you
to Melbourne indie pop tree I Blush you. They recently
opened for Kylie Minogue at Hyde Park in London, which
(01:18):
is massive. I love their vibe. How it's pop it's
sparky and catchy. And they were here not long ago
as well on tour. Welcome to the show, And how
was it when you were back home performing?
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yes, it's been so great to play shows in Australia again.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah, it's so nice. I feel like it's a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
More nerve wracking than performing for like a whole crowd
of Americans or something here, Yeah, where you know no one,
but like when the families say, you're like, oh, do.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
A good job?
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Is it like weird as well? When you're looking out
in the audience and you see people you know, like,
oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
Yeah, I was just like looking at my mom and
dad up in the stands and like, you know, the
eye contacts you kind of make in the crowd.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
It's very different when it's your parents.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Like I've always wondered where as musicians, when you're up
on stage and you're singing and then you're like you
notice someone in the crowd, how you don't lose train
of thought when you're singing.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
I feel like we are, so we're so multitasking up
there anyway, Like there's always at least three or four
like things going on that you have to do with
your arms and your legs and your brain. You know
it's great.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yes, and congratulations on your latest single, Overblow. I love
it because I feel like it's so relatable, like when
you have a crush on someone, Thank.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
You so much.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
Yeah, with that feeling that you have where you can't
stop thinking about someone, you're so so obsessed and you
just kind of carry that energy with you no matter
where you go, and also share that energy with your friends,
Like we have such a fun time in studio, just
kind of sharing our stories of like when you know,
we were in high school and we had these crushes
on people. Let us not even necessarily about them. It's
(02:53):
just about like what you can create in your head
and that.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Kind of feeling of like electricity.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's so true, especially when you like someone you just
can't stop thinking about them, Like it's hard.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, it's all consuming.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
And then you see that person and you just forget
how to speak and be a human and you feel
like you're gonna explode and throw off. And in this song,
there's a moment where we tried to like bottle that
euphoria and yeah, there's this real huge electric wall of
sound drop that happens in the song that we're like, Yes,
this is what that sparkly crush feels like.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
