How does it feel to know it's finally out?
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Thank you so much. It feels pretty incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Like about yeah, when it first came out, I held
it in my hand, the physical copy, and I was like,
just was a crazy experience, like releasing an album, and
so it feels like so good to have it out now.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
It's been a long time coming.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
But how long have you been working on it for?
Speaker 4 (01:33):
We started, like the first idea for two and a
half years ago, and then they kind of just were
a collection of songs that came over the span.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Of probably a year to almost two years. But yeah's it.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
It feels like it's own little world of that period
of time, which is really nice.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Yeah, I love this song as well tonight, I because
I feel like we've all been in a situation where
you have a crush on someone you like somewhe What
was it like working on that song?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
It was super fun.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
That song was like to go heavy on the guitars,
which was a fun change.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
When I was writing the lyrics so that I was
like I kind of wanted it to be more happy
or like of a message, but then the real situation
wasn't going so well, so I was like, I'm gonna
have to make it about this, And took a while
for the lyrics to come, but when they come, they came.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
I was really happy with them, and it's super exciting
as well because you announce that you're going to be
here for your headline shows this September.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Thank you so much. Yeah, I was super excited to
come back.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
It's like pretty sad that the tourists ended with their
owns and blush it.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
So we just can't wait to come back.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
It would be so good because last time you hear
was the south By Southwestern Sydney, so it's good, Like, yeah,
coming back for your own shows.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
I can't believe it. It's like we're just gonna, I
guess the dreamers to come back to Australia as much
as possible.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Now.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah, you just have to keep touring here more. But
we can't wait to see you in September. I'm gonna
wrape it around the questions for you. Who some artists
that inspire you?
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Dejon He's a lot. I just love his songwriting and vocals.
He's just amazing.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Dominic fight good answer as well.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
And if you could have a superpower, what would it
be Teleportation?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
That would be so cool.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I feel like it'd be pretty cool to be able
to talk to animals.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
And what's your favorite song that you've written.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
I'll be here Hello. I just really like that one.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
When I was like writing it, I was like walking
around and it was just like on like night walks,
and it was just a really cool song to like
listen to and just kind of get into that world.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
And how would you describe your music in three.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Words for this album, I'd say magical, main character.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
You can say if you like. And what did you
go to coffee order?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
I just got it iced oat. I normally go for
a oat flat white.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
And what's your emotions emoji?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Oh yeah. I want something that you'd like to achieve
this time next year.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Definitely want to come back to Australia more often than
the next and the next year and get into like
writing album two. I think that's something that I'm really
excited to kind of get my teeth in two.
Speaker 1 (04:18):

And Paris said a song can change your life, and
that's what Free by ultra Ate did for me. I
