Cobra Kai is fun, funny, and light-hearted, with a lot of kick-ass karate, but it's also heartfelt, and while reverent to the classic Karate Kid series it follows, it also cleverly remixes and re-contextualizes themes and situations from those movies. It's awesome! We're Podcastica, and we've been doing episode-by-episode deep dives into amazing TV shows for over a decade now. And let me tell you, I think this show is my (Jason's) favorite thing I've ever podcasted on. You can be a part of the discussion: Send us a text or voice message at waxonwaxoff@podcastica.com or comment at facebook.com/podcastica and we'll respond on the air.
Well well, here we are at last, at the conclusion of Johnny, Daniel, and the karate kids’ stories, and it’s hard to imagine how it could all be any more glorious :) You guys know Rima, Richard, and I had a blast podcasting about this show. It started off surprisingly good and by the end it was surprisingly even better. And thanks so much from all of us to all of you who listened along with us. You guys are the best around!

Well, it was all fairly predictable up until that explosive ending, wasn’t it? But we don’t care one little bit. We’re loving every minute of these last episodes. Go Tory and Miguel!!!
Next up: The Cobra Kai series finale (gulp)! Cobra Kai S6E15 “Ex-Degenerate” Let us know your thoughts everybody.
Every episode is kicking a little more ass than the last one as we head down the home stretch here. A lot of nostalgia in this one, and we particularly love how the focus is returning to Johnny as his story comes full circle.
Next up: Cobra Kai S6E14 “Strike Last” Let us know your thoughts!
Aww, what a beautiful episode, huh? All the friends shoring each other up and supporting each other, and Johnny proposing to Carmen so beautifully, and then welcoming their new little baby into the world. Yeah, we cried :)
Next up: Cobra Kai S6E13 “Skeletons” :o Let us know your thoughts!
Okay, not the most exciting episode, but it sets the table for the wrap-up of this series, and we’re glad to be back podcasting about Cobra Kai.

So much winning in this episode! What a relief, eh? After all that tension, our guys finally get their heads on straight, make up with each other, and focus on kicking some butt. And we loved it!
Next up: Cobra Kai S6E10 “Eunjangdo”. Let us know your thoughts!
Lotsa good Cobra Kai drama, twists, and surprises this ep, with a couple hookups to boot! What happens in Barcelona stays in Barcelona.

Was that the most badass we’ve ever seen Daniel, or what? I mean, okay, it was over-the-top storytelling, but also, yeah!!!! :)

Next up: We’re talking a week off for vacation. Happy Thanksgiving! We’ll be back in two weeks to cover Cobra Kai S6E8 “Snakes on a Plane”. Let us know your thoughts!
Hey, feels good to be back for this next set of Cobra Kai episodes, in a new setting, with some great fights, the intriguing mystery of Miyagi’s involvement with the Sekai Taikai, and a couple of losses to get us feeling anxious that our heroes might not prevail. But of course we know they will. Right?!
Next up: Cobra Kai S6E6 “Dog in the Fight”. Let us know your thoughts!
Cobra Kai keeps us guessing in these last two episodes, sending all the adults out clubbing (which was delightful) and then into a bloody life-or-death battle at Terry’s place! Incredible finale to cap of another fantastic season. Thanks everybody for listening along with us. This show is so much fun, and we appreciate you guys listening and calling and writing in. Let’s hope we get at least one more season!
Thanks to Ben for joinin...
After last week’s incredible pair of episodes, we were a little let down by these at first. But I think during the podcast, we managed to see some of the good in them. And if we can change, and you can change, then everybody can change!

So much Cobra Kai greatness in these two episodes, with callbacks from the movies, tons of laughs, conflict, drama, heart. A bit of a charged episode from us this week, as we debate whether Daniel is his own worst enemy.
