Why do so many of us struggle being entrepreneurs when really all we want to be a successful business owners? That's the topic of today's conversation with Ron Saharian, who is a friend, an incredibly successful businessman, and my business partner in a new venture that I'm really excited to talk with you about.
Ron talks about the theory of money. We get into some questions about money because a lot of us who are real purpose driven, or even a lot of us who are Christ-centered or faith-based. We oftentimes run into problems as we wrap our heads around money - is it okay to have money? Is it okay to talk about money? Let's face it, sometimes there's a block there.
There's nothing wrong with having a successful business and I think that's the thing a lot of us don't go after. We go after the pursuit of a great idea, but we don't always go after the pursuit of profit. Well, my friend Ron has a business called Profit First, which started out as an idea that seemed like common sense, but yet no one was applying it.
As he went out into the world to start getting people to apply this, everybody resisted it because it's a discipline. It's a discipline that once you engage in your life, you will see things unlock.
What I'm talking about is financial stewardship. In this episode, I talk about some personal things that Kelly and I have gone through and how now we've begun to see an incredible unlocking as we talk about financial stewardship in our life, not just making money.
1:47 Ron talks about the growth of his exceptional business with his business partner and where they started from, where they're going, and what we're doing now, which is actually an another incredibly exciting thing that we get to reveal on this podcast, which is a new CPA rollup company that I get the great privilege to jump into with a couple of the most legendary business executives out there, including some of the people who you've heard right here on this podcast.
So tune in. We're going to wrap our heads around money. We're going to talk about how you can pay yourself first and actually get away with it and some other cool conceptualized money theory type topics.

Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
