Sabine and Lisa have a vulnerable conversation with Lisa Toomey. She is a woman of many talents as you will come to learn in this episode. She is a vlogger with a YouTube channel called Leesa T, an author, wife, and mother of 4.
Lisa Toomey recently joined a tribe of 12 other female writers to write a book called Here's to Strong Women: Anthology 1, a collection of personal stories meant to inspire us to triumph over our challenges. In chapter 11, titled Miracles In the Meantime, she shares her difficult journey growing up in the foster care system, and how she navigated multiple significant losses in her life. She sees adversities as catalysts that peel away her layers to reveal the person she is underneath it all. As she calls it, "stepping into the fuller truth of who I am."
