Why do we ask church leaders, let you decide your calling or wait until you feel comfortable with it?
Desecration, in this episode, refers to avoiding submission to discernment or prophetic utterance, and, empowering comfort over commission.
This series is called Apologies of a Church Leader and Phil is going to be brutally honest in apologising for a range of things. Holding nothing back, he will apologise for the way he (and other leaders) act in ways that is detrimental to the church.
This is not done in criticism or cynicism, but with the hope that together we can all work in partnership to make the local church stronger.
