In a world where addiction is so easy to fall into it is no surprise when it leads to death. Many individuals who fall into this life get there in many different ways. The need to survive is overtaken by the need to escape the world that seems so cruel. The hunger for more is unbearable to the point where anything goes. Joan Palacio was a young woman just trying to survive the highs and lows of Dangerous Living. She was found in a vacant lot in the middle of the day in northern Ohio. She was seemingly thrown out with no regard for who she really was. Her lifestyle did not define the type of person she truly was. She was warm-hearted with a desire to be a good mother. Unfortunately, her addictive personality took away from her motherly personality and eventually led to her demise at the hands of an animal attacking its prey.
