Across America and even across the world. There are places
where the past refuses to die, homes filled with sorrow,
bridges holding back dark secrets, and battlegrounds where echoes are
still heard today. In this episode, we're talking about eight
haunted locations that hold the strongest paranormal energy ever recorded. Hello,

(00:26):
my paranormal peeps, and welcome back to the Deep Wood's
Paranormal Podcast. My name is Matt Harvey. I am the
founder and lead investigator with Deep Woods Paranormal. I am
also the host of the deep Woods Paranormal Podcast. So
today we're going to go back and talk about eight
more haunted locations. So Number one real close to home
and I have not actually never been there. The Grove

(00:48):
in Texas, Southern Spirits and Secrets. Oh, that sounds interesting.
Franklin Castle in Ohio, the man should have Morning. Number
three bankok Ghost Town, Montana, where the Old West still whispers.
Number four Little Big Horn Battlefields, echo of the Fallen.

(01:12):
Number five Stuckey's Bridge, Mississippi, the lantern of the of
that Law. Number six Limp Mansion, Missouri, the spirits of
a cursed family. That's sound sad. So were Javi Gandhi
International Airport, and this is in India. The haunting of

(01:34):
a modern terminal interesting and number eight the Lolaari Mansion
in New Orleans, the cruel Mistress of the quarter. All right,
let's talk about the grove in Texas here again. I've
never been here, so I don't know if you've been
here before. Commentdown below, what did you experience? All right? So,

(01:55):
the hauntings of the Grove in Jefferson, Texas are legendary
due the numerous reports the paranormal activity in the historic
eighteen sixty one Victorian house, which is considered to be
one of the most haunt haunted in the state. Hauntings
include a sighting of a woman in white, disembodied footsteps,

(02:16):
unexplained voices, and objects moving on their own.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
The home's history of unusual experiences dates back to the
late eighteen hundreds and is now a popular site for
ghost tours. All right, so let's get into the hauntings.
So the haunting details. Ooh, the lady in white again.
Another lady and white guys. One of the most common

(02:40):
sightings is a woman dressed in white seen by many visitors,
and a former residence unexplained phenomenon. Other reported activity includes
disembodied footsteps, strange noises, objects moving by themselves, and even
a black smelling mass scene in one of the bedrooms.
Interesting historic accounts. The paranormal history is long, the stories

(03:05):
from the eighteen eighties onward. A family that moved into
the house in eighteen eighty two reported moving out as
soon after, claiming that they could live there. Interesting what
are would cause them to leave? Long term residents?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
So?

Speaker 1 (03:20):
A woman named missus Louis Young who lived there in
the early nineteen hundreds, often spoke of pints, I guess
it's the spirits and become terrified later in life, insisting
she fought figures that disappeared when she turned on the
porch light. H okay. Interesting. So historical status. The grove

(03:43):
is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and
is a recorded Texas Sister of Historical Landmark. I can't
talk today, So yeah, that's place was number one. I'm
sorry that I've never been here, and I'm gonna have
to have this to my bucket list. It sounds like
a cool place. I wonder if it's place you can
stay overnight again? Have you guys ever stayed here? Let

(04:04):
me know, leave the comment down below let us know
if you've been here, have you had the opportunity to
investigate this location. I really like to hear your story. Okay.
So location number two Franklin Castle, Ohio. So the Franklin Castle,
located in Cleveland, Ohio is reported to be one of

(04:25):
the most famous famous haunted houses in the state. Should
probably say famously or something else. Again, guys, bear with
me as I'm reading this. A lot of this is
not really worded correctly, so it throws me off a
little bit as I'm reading it. Okay. So its reputation
stems from a history of history marked by the Teitaman's

(04:49):
family tragic the tragic death in the late nineteenth century,
and subsequent reports of paranorla activity by multiple owners. So
the men's family must have died in the house. Let's
see if they talk a little bit more about this.
So it says paranormal legends and ghost sightings. Okay, So

(05:11):
the castle's hauntings are linked to the following stories. The
Tittaman family, the original owners hands Tedament, experienced a string
of family tragedies after building the management in eighteen hundreds.
I think this has been on a few ghost shows.
So have you seen this, You probably know a little

(05:31):
bit more about this. So Emma Tiedaman, his fifteen year
old daughter, died of diabetes in the house in eighteen
eighty one. Some rumors allege that she was actually hanged,
with historical sources dispute this, and others since since sensulized
tales attribute to death to disease. Again, this is worded

(05:54):
really weird. Her ghost is sometimes seen as a crying
girl or girl white. Interesting. So Luist Tetaman Haynes's wife
passed away in the house in eighteen ninety five from
liver disease. She is said to appear as the woman
in black in the tower room. Interesting. Other Tetaman and children.

(06:16):
Three of the other Teaman children died in the house
during infancy. The sound of crying babies has been reported
in the castle. Interesting. A cold room, a room on
the third floor is allegedly ten degrees colder than the
rest of the house where the axe murder victim named

(06:37):
Karen is said to haunt an axe murder victim. Wow,
that's crazy. They don't talk more about that, sorry, guys.
A tape recording incident during a radio segment inside the house,
a host's tape was recorded. The host tape recorded was

(06:58):
inexplicitly hurled down their case. Again, this has written really weird. Okay,
so green vapors missed. This is interesting. I've never seen
this before. A writer visited the house reportedly fainted after
walking into a green vapors mist on the third floor,
landing interested baby skeletons in eighteen I'm sorry, nineteen seventies.

(07:22):
Human Bones believe that be the baby skeletons were discovered
hidden in a secret room. However, some believe this is
the was a public stunt by an owner and seeking
promotion for ghost tours. Interesting. Well, here we go. A
German spy activity stories claimed the castle was a hub

(07:44):
for German spies during the war, with secret passages allegedly
used for nefarious purposes. Interesting. So makes you wonder if
maybe some of those guys are still haunting like a
location too. All right, so let's move on, banok ghost

(08:07):
town pair with me if I butcher that the ghost
town is considered haunted, Dude, It's violent past, including frequent
shootouts and hangings, and reports of paranormal activities such as
apparitions and disnembodied voices. Notable ghost stories include the tale
of Dorothy Dunn, a girl who drowned in a nearby

(08:30):
creek and it is said to be seen as an
apparition in a blue dress, and the ghost of Henry
Plummer and famous sheriff who's hung. These stories are often
featured during town's annual ghostwalks. All right, so, history of lawlessness? Lawlessness?

(08:51):
Let's see Mannock who was a lawless frontier town with
a reputation for violence. Hundreds of men were murdered and
famous sheriff outlaw Henry Plummer was hung by vigilantes. The
violent violence, violent town. Sorry. This violent history provides the

(09:12):
basis for many of the ghost stories associated with a town. Okay,
so now it talks about Dorothy Dunn's apparition. A well
known story involves Dorothy Dunn, a girl who drowned in
a nearby creek now called Dorothy's Hole. Her friend, who
saw her apparition in a long blue dress, is said
to have been deeply affected by that accident. Visitors to

(09:34):
the former Mead Motel I'm Sorry Meade Hotel have reported
seeing an apporision of a young girl in a blue
dress that's interesting. Other reported activity. People claim to have
heard to somebody voices and seen other appertions throughout the town,
especially in the historical buildings. Says The elegant Hotel Mead

(09:56):
is often cited as the most haunted building in Menoch.
Dorothy Dunn. Of course, nineteen sixteen, sixteen year old Dorothy
Dunn drowned and blah blah blah, we dared that, so
she said, to haunt the hotel cold spots. Visitors to
the hotel often report explained sudden and unexplained cold spots,
other apparitions. So an old elderly woman, sometimes thought to

(10:19):
be Dorothy Dunn's mother, has also been spotted peering from
the hotel windows. At Law of Spirits. The town's early
history is marked by a rampant crime under the leadership
of corrupt sheriff Henry Plumber, who, along with his gang,
was ultimately hung by Vagelanites. His apparition is said to

(10:41):
patrol the town, particularly near the gallows where he was
executed in the Skinner Saloon. So Plumber's gang, the spirits
of the old of the Men's, the spirit of the
men plump. Okay, whatever, let's start over so his gang
is said to lead haunted Christmas Store. This neakes no

(11:05):
sense whatever. Supposedly they haunt the Christmas Store with reports
of shadowy figures and disembodied voices and whispers. Interesting again,
this makes some of this makes no sense? Guys, whether
they're warding this? All right? So the Betsy House, originally
a quarantine house for chech children, is now known for

(11:27):
its phantom children. Ooh, okay. Many believe the sound of
crying babies heard inside the house are spirits of the
children who die from the illness. That's sad. The disembodied
voices of children have been heard the stranger anomaly. Sometimes
believe that the children's spirits blah blah blah. Again, it's
just repeating itself. General hauntings throughout the entire town. Visitors

(11:49):
have reported a range of unexplained phenomenon, slamming doors, wandering
spiritspertions of many former residents young and old, have been
seen walking the town as if it were still alive.
Here we go the cemetery, the historic cemetery where many
early residents are buried, as another site of reported supernatural activity.

(12:16):
And they don't go to any more detail, all right,
So it sounds like a really cool old ghost town.
I really love ghost towns, especially old you know, while
while West ghost towns, I think that they hold a
lot of energy. So the Battle of Little Big Horn
was terrible with a Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument

(12:38):
in Montana is widely considered to be a hub of
supernatural activity and is a source of numerous echoes of
the fallen, haunted stories, with accounts of coming from visitors, employees,
and Native Americans oral traditions. The intensity of the violence
and loss of life during the eighteen seventy six battles

(13:00):
often cited as the cause of lingering paranormal phenomenon. Okay, interesting,
I bet. I mean these guys lost their lives way
too soon, probably for pretty much no reason at all
except for awayan grab and territory. So anyways, common hauntings

(13:22):
and phenomena apparitions of soldiers and warriors. Witnesses have reported
seeing full body apparitions or partial operations of soldiers and
Native American warriors. One notable count from a former park
ranger involves seeing two warriors spirits silhouetted on the bluffs.
They were seemingly unconcerned with her presence. Another former employee

(13:47):
in the Stonehouse reported seeing the headless and legend torso
headless and legend legless torso of a soldier, excuse me. Interesting, Unfortunately,
it's probably killed during battle, all right, So time slips
revealing the battle. So there are multiple accounts of visitors

(14:09):
who claim to have been momentarily transported back in time, seeing, hearing,
and even smelling the battle taking place around them. When
Vietnam VET described the ghastly scene vanishing Somelon interesting. So
a lot of this sounds more like a residual thing,
especially because nobody's really essentially there's no interaction really with

(14:33):
the people that are involved, the living people that are involved.
Seems like this is more of a like a residual,
like time replaying itself. There's such a scar this on
this land from all the horrible things that happened that
basically it's just replaying over and over again like a

(14:54):
rerun on TV. And that's what the residual is, okay,
So unexplained sounds, strange noises, including phantom footsteps while banging
on the walls, and the soft murmuring of voices have
been reported across the battlefield. And within the park buildings. Okay,

(15:17):
so it talks about paranormal activity in the stone house.
This was built in eighteen ninety four for the cemetery caretakers,
who a local crow people called the ghost herons. It's
major focus of activity. It's a major focus of activity.

(15:38):
Stores from stories from seasonal employees who live there include
door knobs turning on their own and doors slamming shut,
lights string up and on after hours, objects being moved around.
All employees awakened to find a man with a tortured
and painful expressions sitting on her on the at a table,

(16:00):
whom later she identified as Lieutenant Benjamin h. Hodgen from
a historical photograph. Interesting so the native perspective, the local
crow of people had long standing belief about this site,
referring to this first super intended as a ghost heard

(16:20):
because lowering the flag at dusk was thought to allow
the spirits to rise and walk the grounds. Native American
employees have also shared personal, often peaceful, spiritual encounters sometimes
interpreted as the spirits of russel Souls. Were also happy
that their side of the story is finally being told

(16:41):
to visitors. Awesome, so, Lieutenant Colonel George Cluster himself is
a prominent figure in this lore. His ghost is reportedly
seen wandering the halls of the battlefield museum and late
at night. A Lakota Sioux tradition even claims that Sitting
Bull visited the battlefield after the conflict and encountered Clusters

(17:04):
Custers ghost here sounds really interesting. Yeah, old battlefields are
you know, They're just one of those places you're going
to have experiences. We've we've tried to get on some
old battlefields down here in Texas from the Mexican American War,
but they really don't want people out there. The haunted
Stucky's Bridge in Mississippi centators on the legend of old

(17:26):
Man Stucky and that while he used to use a
lander to lure unsuspecting travelers to the deaths and whose ghosts,
they said, still roam the area.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
All right.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
According to local lore, Sucky was a reported member of
the infamous Dalton Gang who settled near the church I'm
Sorry the Chuck Chucky River in Lauderdale County, Mississippi in
the late nineteenth century. He opened an inn and would
use the lander to night to guide to weary travelers

(17:59):
from the river. To his nearby road and establish an
establage to his establishment, promising a safe place to rest.
Once his guys were asleep, stuck you would murder them,
stealing their possessions. And they're bearing their bodies along with
the river along the river bank. After an estimated twenty
people missing, locals grew suspicious. A polse eventually caught Stucky

(18:24):
Stucky and held the mainshift trial and executed him by
hanging him from the very bridge where he used the
lantern to find his victims. His body was reportedly left
to dangle for days as a warning to other allaws
before being cut down and then basically just dropped in
the river. So sorry if that's a little graphic for

(18:47):
some of the people watching and listening. Hopefully I didn't
mess anything up. But anyways, so the ghost of old
men Stucky is said to remain his restless soul hangs
hanging the bridge and surrounding river banks. Paranormal reports include
the lantern apparition. The most common sighting is the spectral

(19:08):
figure of an old man carrying a lantern, still walking
along the river's edge, seemingly seeking new victims. Oh that's crazy.
Eerie sounds visitors often report hearing aloud, unexplained splash in
the water below the bridge. This which is believed to
be the echo of Stucky's body falling into the water,

(19:29):
visions of hanging, of him hanging there. I'm gonna kind
of sugarcoat that some watnesses claimed to have seen his
lifeless body still swinging if you will, physical encounters. A
few individuals have reported being physically pushed while on the bridge,

(19:53):
supposedly by the angry spirit of Stucky. A blue glow,
an eerie blue grow blue has been seen emanating from
the spot where his body disappeared into the water.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Interesting.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
It's a little bit of the history. The Trust Bridge
Historical Landmark built the nineteen oh one replaces the original
wooden structure the hanging by the haunting, but the haunting persists,
making a popular destination for paranormal enthusiasts. That's interesting. Hold outlaws,
I mean, we've been to several places where outlaws have

(20:29):
been and are said to haunt those locations. And they
are as they are in life, they are in death
they are and some of them are okay, some of
them are mean, some of them are nice, some of
them are trying to get redemptions, so they're being nicer
than they would normally and stuff like that. But you know,

(20:53):
this sounds like one of the ones I would not
want to go and spend the night at anyways. All Right,
So Limp Mansion in Missouri, the spirits of a cursed
family haunting is on side. So the Limp Mansion in
Saint Louis, Missouri has a haunted reputation fueled by the
tragic history of the Limp Brewing family. Visitors in panormal

(21:18):
Investigator reportant counting the ghosts of several family members who
died by suicide within the mansion's walls. The mansion is
now a restaurant in an inn that offers ghost stores,
paranormal investigations, and mysterious mystery dinners. And I've always said,
and if you guys have followed me for a long time,

(21:38):
when you take your life, you pretty much can't leave.
You get stuck. You go to what I call.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
The in between, and you're you're not alive, you're not dead,
you're kind of in between the two, and you're it's
it's horrible, you kind of you're just you're just stuck.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
And so I mean that's that's got to be horrible.
Some of them still relive their tragic deaths over and
over and over again, and I can't even imagine what
that could would be like. I mean, imagine having to
relive that over and over and over again as punishment
for taking your own life. All right, So the Limps

(22:19):
Trimps tragedy family, tragic curse. Okay. So the Limp family
rose to prominence in Fort Saint Louis and fortune in
Saint Louis, but their success was overshadowed by a string
of tragic events, leading to a family legend of a curse. Okay,
So this talks about Frederick Limp. Nineteen oh one, WILLIAMS

(22:44):
Limbs Senior, son of the apparent, dead of mysterious hearttigue
at age twenty eight. His father's Williams Senior never fully
recovered from the loss. So he's talking about the son.
His son died at twenty eight, and then you know,
the dad just never recovered. William Limp Senior. In nineteen

(23:05):
oh four, three years after his son's death, a grief
stricken William Senior shot himself in the bedroom of the
main mansion. That's sad Elsa Limp wright. In nineteen twenty,
Williams Senior's daughter and one of the Saint Louis wealthiest heiress, Alisa,

(23:26):
committed suicide with a gunshot to the head after a
troubled marriage.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Wow, it's a poor family man. William wimp Jor nineteen
twenty two, the head of the brewing brewery. After his
father's death, William j. Faced immense pressure and the prohibition
ended the family's business. He became reclusive and shot himself
in the same office where his father died. Charles Limp

(23:51):
nineteen forty nine, another one of Williams Senior's.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Sons, Charles was the last to occupy the mansion. He
led a reclusive life and in nineteen forty nine shot
is dog before turning the gun on himself. That is terrible, guys.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
That's just terrible. I mean, I can't even imagine. I
can't even say anything about that. That's just terrible, all right.
So reported hauntings at the mansion, a reported tragedy and
suicides have led to decades of paranormal reports from guest,
guest and staff alike apparitions. Guests and staff have reported

(24:28):
seeing full body apperations, including the ghost of a man
believed to be William Limp sor and lady in white
on the staircase. The ghost of William Limp Junior has
also been sighted, but it doesn't go to details. Sorry guys,
all right. The monkey faced Boy, rumors Televini illegitimate son

(24:51):
of William Limb Junior, born with down syndrome, who was
hidden in the attic for his entire life. As ghosts
referred to as the monkey bassed Boy, they said to
be active in the attic, with reports of his face
appearing in the window and toys being moved phantom sounds.

(25:12):
Visitors frequently report hearing phantom footsteps, disembodied voices, moans, and
the sound of a piano point on its own. Some
have even heard the sound of ghosts, ghostly horses outside,
interesting ghostly mischief, objects moved by themselves, including glasses flying
off the bar, shelves, doors are necessariously locked and unlocked

(25:34):
on their own, and lights ranging off and on. Wow,
I don't know anybody's dealt with that before. Other phenomenon.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Cold spots are commonly common in certain areas, particularly in
the basement and the antic area area. The area around
William Jay's former office is also known for a chilling
temperature drop. Some women have reported a ghostly peeping tom
in the downstairs restrooms and said to be William Jr.
So basically, it's just says that it's open for investigation today.

(26:08):
I'm sure you have to pay to get in and
stuff like that. All right, let's talk about a haunted
airport terminal. All right, the road Juvi Gandhi International Airport.
Despite its modern facilities, rumors of paranormal activity and ghost
sightings have circulated. Airport officials have publicly dismissed these claims

(26:34):
and are as false and misleading social media content. All right, So,
alleged paranormal events and sightings permoramal stories at the airport
are said to be connected to the land where it
was built. The legend includes the following claims. A rotating head.

(26:54):
Some airport employees have reported seeing a man whose head
rotates during sixty degrees. That's creepy, wrestless spirits. The airport
is located in the area where several people died in
land disputes during its construction. Some stories suggest the victims

(27:15):
were buried under the airport and their spirits now haunt
the premises. Oh here we go another lady white, the
woman in white. Sorry. A pilot tragically stopped his plane
on the runway after seeing a woman dancing in a
white sorry. Other reports mentioned seeing a woman in a
white on a runway. We ever fly into Rajiv Gandhi

(27:40):
in India and stop over in this terminal. Let me know,
I'd love to hear if you guys see the guy
with a rotating head or have any paranormal experiences. All right,
So the the Laurie Mansion in New Orleans, the cruel
mistress of the Quarter hauntings. All right, someone have to
be very careful about how I this, So just bear

(28:01):
with me if I stop and start a few times.
I've read through this a goal signs. But I just
want to make sure I don't say certain things. Okay. So,
the Lallari Mansion is a private residence located at eleven
forty Row Street in New Orleans. First Quarter is known
for the horrific behavior or treatment of enslaved people by

(28:22):
its former owner, Mary Dafene Lalori in the eighteen thirties. Well,
you can view the mansion from its streets. It's not
open to public tours. So the fire of eighteen thirty four.
On April tenth, eighteen thirty four or five, broke out
in the mansion's kitchen. A person who was who had

(28:43):
been chained to the stove confessed to setting the fire
suit in a suicide attempt because of the views. And
I can't even talk about this either. So essentially they
found seven. Essentially in the attic, they found seven people

(29:04):
that were dead and they were in bad shape. Let's
just put it that way. So the quarter's hauntings, the
mansion's reputation, the tormented spirits. For nearly two hundred years,
the mansion has been considered one of the most haunted
places in the United States. Many believe the hauntings and
the tormented spirits of Lolaori's victims still haunt the location.

(29:29):
Paranormal activity and numerous reports of paranorma activity have been
documented over the years, including disembodied screens and moaning, the
phantom footsteps, and objects moving on their own. First ownership,
the persistent rumor suggests a cursed artifact anyone who owns
the house leads to misfortune. A notable owner and actor,

(29:54):
Nicholas Cage Purst of the home in two thousands seven
but lost at the foreclosure and two thousand and nine.
That's interesting. So there's a lot I really can't talk
about about this house because this goes into real detail
about what happened to the people that work there, if
you will, But it does sound like a very very

(30:17):
a place where a lot of people would be just
you know, still there because of all the horrorfule acts
that happened. All right, guys, So if you're still with
me to this point, if you do me a favorite,
give me a like, give me a thumbs up, and uh,
you know, hit that notification bell and we'll continue on
with this story. Another story here, probably on Thursday, so

(30:39):
I'll exit with this from a Southern spirits to cursed
mansions and haunted battlefields, these locations, my mind us that
the past never dies, it just waits for the dark.
I'm that with Deep withits paranormal, and I am making
the paranormal normal. And we will catch you guys on
the next one. Hins Yan Kank
