Dr. China Lee Jude exemplifies such accomplishments as: the 50 Most Influential Black People in Sports by USA Today’s 2022 , 100 Most Influential Blacks Today and Sports Business Journal Game Changer in 2020. She is currently the vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion as well as the first woman of color to hold a role of that level in the Denver Broncos organization.
Dr. Jude joined me on comeback to talk the integration of the Crown Act in the Broncos organization. Her rise in the sports industry and her advice to other women of color who are looking to excel.
Dr. Jude talks about the new DEI initiatives she is bringing to the Broncos organization and creating a culture of inclusion across the board. Those initiatives include working with the LGBTQ+ community, intentionally diversifying staff, and making sure young girls are seen in the sport of football.
After sharing her struggles being a woman of color in a white-male dominated field, she gives advice on how to stay out of your own head, especially for black women that work in predominantly white spaces.
Dr. Jude encourages women of color to make what's different about them, their tool for success.
