She received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and is a distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Today, we discuss two of her books, the 1992 classic “Trauma and Recovery: The Aftermath of Violence – from Domestic Abuse to Political Terror,” and her recent book “Truth and Repair: How Trauma Survivors Envision Justice.”
