Speaker 3 (01:37):
The thin line between funny and not funny, right, very true?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Idiots.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Some people, you know some shows say this is a
comedy show and I watched the show and I don't laugh.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
How did we cross that line? And you might be
you No, I'm just just to gain I know.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
How did we cross that line between the thin line
of sports and comedy.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
I think it's because after a couple of waters. We
start talking about whatever we want to talk about.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
We will go off the deep end.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yes, we're not afraid, and then we have geek out
that goes very far.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
We did discover the small town of Shitty.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
We did right off the top. We did. We found
that township nobody knew about.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You know what, I think it started with, honestly, like
the tipping point the one time, the first time we
crossed over, it was with Bubbles the chimp.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It was with Bubble.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
It was we found a chimp that people was wondering,
Where's Bubbles? And then we found Bubbles Jackson in a
retirement home, still alive in Florida.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, with a million dollar trust for it.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Amazing, Like you can't write this, You cannot write this.
Like he loves poetry and by the way, he loves music.
This chimp is living beyond the means of a human being.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Like in today's economy, Bubbles is rich.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Like Bubble is a different Like we've seen him.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
This is what I really got throwed when I seen
him doing sign language with Michael.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
It's incredible.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Buba Jackson.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, that maybe took us over the end.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Right.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Also, we talk about this We do actually talk a
lot of football.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
We do talk for every pre game on Big one
hundred one, Big One. Yeah, I was freaking the show.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
But now we're doing Get Loud on game day, so
you joined me for the first hour.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
We did that right before the Patriots. Again, that was
a blast. No, it was a blas.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
We had fun doing it, and I think that's why
it got us on there. So we can kind of
like let people ease people's feelings about whatever game that's
coming on and so they can just just go into
it and watch the game for what it really is and.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Not be so anxious.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah. I think a lot of fans are anxious this
year because.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Of the year we had last year, and they think
we just gonna pick up from their No, two different teams,
two different times, two different.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Eras absolutely well E said.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Also, just like on this pod, we play your voicemails
on the radio. So give us a call on the
house phone seven three, yeah, seven, give.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
It to them a box seven four one nine. Right, man,
I could go to sleep today, I get there. No,
I can go to sleep today.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
So call us, leave us a message, leave us a
voice meault. We already got Kayla shaking her head. That's
how you know it's gonna.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Be a good Yeah, it's gonna be a good show.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
It's only week two of the preseason, so let us
know what you think, and we'll play some of those
on this show and also answer those's just like we're
gonna do during this show.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Also, we're gonna talk about what we.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Saw against the Patriots, what's coming up against the Mingles.
And you have a special guest coming up player, Ah.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yes, we do.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
I will say no name. His first name is special,
his last name is Guess. For a second, I was like,
this is a riddle. No it's not, it's not.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I got you.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Okay, So let's talk about what we saw against the
Patriots preseason game number one. Thirty starters not on the field,
so thirty So look first play the game. Not great, Bob,
but it's also Trevion Henderson is also got.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Away over Virginia by the way of a.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Jean's very He's I don't know if he's special, but
he's very damn good. Yes, he's very good. He's one
of the better athletes I've seen. His past blocking like
it's beyond this is he passed blocked like a thirty
year old running back. Like New England got them something
right there, they got them something with Drake May. But
I'm not gonna give them New England any props for

(05:21):
beating up their first team, beating up on our second
and thirteen.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'm not gonna do.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
That because one side, with coach Quinn, is trying to
see where the depth is at right. The other side,
with coach Verible, is trying to establish this is how
we play things, this is our culture, this is the
new New England.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
They need the reps to yes.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
So I'm not gonna judge this team of for what
happened in that game. I think both sides got what
they want out of it, So I thought it was good.
And it's the preseason. The preseason is when you figure
out stuff. This is when you figure out the kinks.
This is when you figure out what we do well,
what we don't do well, what do we need to
add to the arsenal. That's when you figure that out
two different teams.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
One thing I think d Q would agree with, though,
is that you gotta do better on special teams. And
I know, as we all do, he takes a very
special interest in making sure that special teams are always good.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
So that's something that definitely we can see improving.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Coach Iss, you got Coach Quinn, special team have to
be special.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Last year our special teams was special.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
We had one of the better kickoff teams, one of
the big kickoff turn teams, BET punt teams, punt return teams.
He will cross those tea's and dot those eyes. I'm
not worried about that. But if you could take anything
honestly out of that, you're right, you can grade that
a F.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
We did not play one thing. You just got to
do better.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
But again, we have thirty guys like of course, I
always want to see it win. I want to go
undefeated in the free season. Everyone to lose a game.
But then I'm like, look, it's still the pre Still
dudes aren't playing. It's hard to get too upset about that.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Well, your core not playing. That Cordey play and this
the key to it.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
They coord did played and they asserted themselves the way
you want to. Like New England would have had a word.
There's a problem if Drake May and the first team
got out there and didn't drive the ball. That's true.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
So at the end of the day.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Like I said, I know how to grade a preseason film,
and I don't think all fans know that because fans
are more emotionally attached and I'm more all about the mental.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
So let's talk about some of the guys that did show,
because there were certainly some bright spots. And how about
our guy finally healthy Jersone.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I'm telling you one thing I love. He was so
we talked to him.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I think it was their midy day and he was so,
you know, some game he was just like you could
tell you he's like he felt good.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
You couldn't went to play and you're seeing it.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
No Newton, he flashed, Like you want to talk about
guys that flashed, Jaseon Newton flashed, Jeremy Reeves it monoga
me Trey Amos, Like, let's talk about the good and
not just the bad, like Connery had a good day
out there, like uh Bill ran dollar Bill ran that
ball downhill? Uh course, I mean, uh ja, Corey Brooks

(07:57):
may play like so it's people that make plays out there.
It ain't all bad, it ain't all good.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
It's just the preseasonogamy.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Monogamy, I said his name, Now you nailed it.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I probably got it wrong. I about you nailed it.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I think I started nail it last year when I
started to practice it. The one thing I love about
football players and I always say this, if your name
is Bill Williams, we will not remember you.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Right.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
You have to have a name like monogamy is somebody
just sticks out. It just sticks to your skin and
you can never forget it. Like sports names are different.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
So here's a name, Trey Amos. I like we'll ask
Will ask London or Logan about him. Yeah, but I
and I will ask this to Logan as well, which
is it's rare to have, especially a second round guy
come in and not miss a beat.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
And I feel like he is fitting from that.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
He's not missed being Uh. He has this silent just
quite yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
He just know, he understands, and I think he knows no.
No situation has looked too big of him. He's been
the star training camp. He's been so far, the one
Dreick that you say, all right, this kid is pro ready.
He came pro ready, and I think it has a
lot to do with his voice to get to where
he's at, for him to start raising ocasion, for him

(09:10):
to go to Alabama for him to go.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
To Old Miss.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
I think when you look at the draft picks, it's
all about the voice that they go through, and I
think that's what make these guys real commanders.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Like I think when they go out here to.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Draft these guys, they draft these guys that been in
situational things that they had to outgrow, they had to
get beyond.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Another guy you just mentioned him, Jacory Crosskey married and
I was talking to Bram on the radio because I
was like, because obviously he wants to be on his bill,
but I was asking Brom, when you're doing play by play,
how are you gonna call his name?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
And so he said, he asked, your Corey's like, call
me Bill. Bill.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
We talked about another old name. Well, my name is Frederick.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
So now that's on school too.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
It's like the third person ever in the world was
named Frederick.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
So I got a old name too. But if the man,
the man want to be called Bill, call that man Bill.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
But we were talking about Arizona. Played one game in Arizona.
If he had played more, he probably goes much early
in this.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Yeah, but you can just see that one cut quickness,
which ever he's talking about it's boom.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Yeah, it's downhill, it's violent, it's smooth.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
His vision, the way he sees the whole islet near,
the way he attacks the hole is violent, and that's
what you want. And the first guy ain't really got
a chance to get him down. So I like that,
and I'm sure the coaches like what they so also.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
I just love that you're getting that sort of value
with a late round. Pick a late round.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
I don't judge stuff like that, maybe because I'm a player.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
I mean, I'm not judging him as a player, but
I'm saying, like, as a GM, the fact that you
had the wherewithal to grab a guy like that, look,
I think it's pretty amazing.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Well, I think what the GM really thought about was
this dude didn't get any tread on his tires as
a senior. So we're finna get a guy that's fried.
We're finna get a guy that's young, and we're finna
get a guy with no carries. We're finna get a
guy that's probably beyond the value of where we took him.
And I always tell guys, do you know how many
undrafted free agents get overlooked because it's a numbers game

(11:02):
like to get drafted.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
It's just me. You was a safe pick. Wasn't London undrafted?

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
He was because he's stuck in college. Yeah, you know,
I thought you in college and I was like, hey, stuck.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
I'm just playing. Yes, he did. He went to John.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Carroll and you know it's a small school.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Yeah, you can easily get overlooking John Carroll when it's
only you and like ten more people at your school.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Right, yeah, well nobody.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
And plus even if you ball out, people don't take
you seriously because there's a.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Competition, right exactly.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Yeah, London was really out there beating up on ten
year old like he was a bully. He was too
good to beat. Yeah, he was too good to be there.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, and he is coming to my bachelor party.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Now you've recruited London. London is now the core, the core.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
No, No, he's the co founder of your Beschelor party.
We're gonna take it, and we're gonna make this thing
a marathon. We're gonna make this thing a marathon.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
The more I tell the lovely Catherine about this, the
more I see the fear in her eyes.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Starting every time Catherine sees me, she asks me, she's like,
how far is it gonna go?

Speaker 4 (12:08):
And I said, you know, the edge is right there.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
We're gonna be a centimeter away from We're gonna be
a centimeter.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Away from it.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I'm a good time coordinating. This is what I believe
about it.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
I was born for this. Yes, this is what I do.
I make people life better. If I come around you
instantly life better.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
I actually agree. I agree with that. Bengals coming up,
So a little extra time to prepare.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Here.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Who are some guys or who are a couple of guys.
You say, I want to see something from you.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Oh, I want to see something from everybody, because I
think this is the game that you started to play, right, Yeah,
this is the game that you started to play. A
good licksmith's test when it comes to going against Joe Burrow,
when it going against Jawn Jamar Chase, when it's going
against t Higgins, like, this is a great parameter of
where are we at, where are we doing? And then
it's a good team to play because I think last

(12:58):
year this is the team that we kind of introduced
ourselves and say this is the new command of team.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
It was against the Bengals.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
So when it comes to the Bengals.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Do you like the fact that they're playing their starters
early on?

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I mean, last week.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Jamar Chase went off, But it's because they've had these
really slow starts that have coursed them the past couple
of record or seasons.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
I'm not mad at them for doing what they're doing.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
And they usually have a situation that stops them from
playing guys. Usually Joe Burrow is injured. Usually it's some
contract situation. It's something that stops their core group from
being together. So I understand what they're doing. I understand
why they're doing it, But is it cringy, Yes, because
they could easily get hurt of these games, you see
what I'm saying. So, but I understand what coach is

(13:40):
trying to do up there, and every coach has a
different pathway of trying to get their team to the
Super Bowl. Because right now, it's the only time in
the NFL that all thirty two fan bases, all thirty
two teams think they're gonna win the Super Bowl. This
is the only time right now.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Is Joe Burrow the best pure pastor in football? I
think he might be, like he sees.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
The field tremendously well he also has a relationship with
one of the best where I receivers, if not the best,
that connection is. You gotta realize not only is it
a connection, they got a brotherhood.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
The dude got each other to the NFL.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
They got each other paid already, like they have a
I wouldn't be shocked if Joe Burrow names his first
son Jamar like.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
And and I and I wouldn't be shocked at Jamar Borough.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
If Jamar named his first son Joe JJ like, I
just would not Joe Chase, Yes, JJ Chase. All I'm
saying is because these guys have done so much for
each other's career, and it looks like it's not gonna stop.
Like they're gonna have their whole college and pro career together.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
That's unheard of. Have we ever seen that before?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
I don't think we ever seen that in basketball all
he's never seen that in baseball, and we ain't seen
that in football.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
With two T teammates a graating.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Joe, Wanda Heisman, Jason, I mean Jami one had been
Nick the car then they get to the league and
they instantly the best quarterback and Bess, I'm.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Trying to think of a college quarterback and receiver that
have done that up with the one.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Nobody has ever done that. That's a good point. Yeah, yeah,
you can go back.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah, I think you're right about it. It's never happened.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Usually they get split up, but these guys ended up
at the same team with the same dream.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
That's a dangerous combo. But we're gonna see him soon enough.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
But right now, we're gonna bring in our logan pause,
so we're gonna talk about the bats, talking about.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Bingals and what else whatever else is on our minds.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
He's on X.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Now we've talked about the game.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Now let's get the inside analysis from the man who
is there on the field watching it take place and
the hat the beer.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Come on, we got out of town.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Any go follow my guy logan paulsing own the on
the uh Twitter.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Formally I mean, formally known as Twitter, but.

Speaker 6 (16:02):
No artist formally known as Twitter. Now X right Logan
Paulson NFL. Right yeah, Logan Pulston NFL.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Like you're dropping some some serious tweets on.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
From thanks yeah, I mean, and it's really helped me
out a lot with that, So thank you producer Anda
for helping out in Caroline's I'm.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
With a guy with such an intelligent family, his daddy astronaut.
Like he goes home for the far reunion. He's the
dumbest Paulse and he don't like he don't get the respected.
You would think he would know how to use Twitter.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Well, here's something I know you do understand, yeah, which
is looking back at what we saw in preseason game
number one. So let's start with some of the positives,
because look, it wasn't the way this team wanted it
to go, and even coach Quinn said sloppy.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
But there were some guys who stood out.

Speaker 6 (16:47):
Yeah, And I think when you look at the draft
picks specifically like Connor Lee, Amos, Camdrono Lane did a
good job. I think all those guys did are really
nice work. Big Bill Merritt did a nice work out there.
I think when you say if there's something to glean
that's positive, those young guys did a good job. And
you know it was Kane always in the right spot.
Probably not, But was he playing with good energy, good athleticism. Yeah,

(17:09):
I think so. And when you say connorly like past
couple weeks of practice been a little up and down. Yeah,
I thought he looked really sharp in the game, really consistent.
And I think if you're looking for trajectories on these
players with high upside, I think that's something that gets
you get you feeling gooder than tree Amos. Fred has
looked great. Yeah, since the jump, just look poised and
continue to look poison the game. So all those things,
all those boxes are checked. And like Fred said, JOSHN

(17:30):
Newton looked good yea, and Noig Monogony, I thought it
pretty solid. So when you kind of say, oh there's
some you know, when thirty of your starters aren't playing
and you got a lot of guys that are gonna
be on practice squad or might not be playing in
the NFL, you gotta kind of look for for those
pride spots where you can get them.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Logan, I feel like these like when I looked at
the just to play it for him, I say, these
coaches are going about these two different approaches. One coach
is trying to lay a foundation, so he wants to
win every every game preseason game, Mike, I mean verbal,
it's just trying to lay the foundation.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
One coach is trying to play for the playoff.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
In a championship. He had thirty guys not drifted. They
had a team everybody.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
And I'm not gonna Joe joech my second screen.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Guys going against first screen guys in New England like
this the difference.

Speaker 6 (18:15):
Yeah, And I think they also did a little bit
of game planning. They had some game plan runs, like
there was a you know that kind of toss crack
run they ran the left. That's the run that Baltimore
ran Week eight last year. You know, went back and
had to watch the film for that, and they ran
that three or four times. They had that game plan
specific draw on third and five, like second and seven,
and you can tell that some of those young guys
hadn't seen that before. And I think one of the

(18:35):
things is, like to Fred's point, one guy wanted to
win the game, and I think one coaching staff wanted
to use it as a learning opportunity. Yes, you know
kind of say, hey, how do we teach off of this?
And I think, you know, if I'm Dan, he said
he was frustrated. I think it's rightfully so there were
things to be frustrated about. But also I think it's
great because there's so much good tape to learn from
on there, which is the thing that gets you, you know,

(18:55):
as a football player, as a coach excited about these
preseason games.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
I feel like came was a perfect example of that
because he had a couple of bad reads, but then
other times you could see the speed as well.

Speaker 6 (19:05):
Yeah, I think that's a great example. That's exactly what
we're talking about. It's like, so, for example, he's in
there on the first kickoff return for a touchdown and
he's playing the I think it was the R five
R five, so on the right side, right next to
the kicker, and he's kind of playing off the four,
and so him in the four kind of run up
the field together. He tries to run over top of
where the four is at as a post underneath, and
then you say, hey man, that's not the right thing

(19:26):
to do, but we can get that fixed with film.
And ultimately, like you want him, you don't want him
to be the best version of himself week one a preseason,
You want him to be the best version of himself
you know probably week five or six of the season
going to actually help you. And I think that's that's
what this is for. Like, as hard as that was
as frustrating as that was. It's great man to be like,
hey man, what are our rules on this formation? Why

(19:46):
are you on the ball here? Let's back off? Or
why are we have an issue with the snapcount? Can
we get that fixed?

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (19:50):
And all that stuff happening now is better than it
happening week one. So I look at this and I say,
that's ultimately what this is for. It's a glorified practice.
Don't need to be freaking out about him.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Yeah, and I want to talk fans off the ledge,
like I.

Speaker 6 (20:03):
Said, even doing that, I feel like for the last
forty eight hours.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Yeah, it's two different approach. Like I'm saying the coaching,
it was two different approaches. One guy is trying to
see what I got down the line. I want to
see where my second, third, screen, four screen guys are.
And one guy, like I said, trying to set the
foundation and say this is the new New England Patriots,
so just come down.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
And also I think it's all s important to remember
that they did erect the statue to the most famous
Patriot of all time. Oh yeah, and you're not gonna
lose that football game, you know, to do everything in
your power.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
She was a part of that.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Yeah, you're not gonna lose that.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
No, no, you're not gonna lose that football game.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
And I wish I could just put even an even
taller Eli Manning statue right back, just right like right
behind it, just looking right over to.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Just over the Hello.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Also, the likeness was good, but it was a tiny head,
tiny head, yeah no, but it was a it's twelve yeah,
oh wow.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
I liked it, man Like.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
I enjoyed it, and that makes me feel good.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Twelve feet foot right.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
No, No, I just enjoyed it because I tell people
all the time, our class we had a unique situation
where we got to play against the past greats. We
got to play with the Dale Greens. I got to
play against Jerry Rice, I got to play against Tim Brown,
I got to play against all the glorified pass Plus
I got to play against the future when it comes
to the Tom Brady's, the Drew Brees is, the Michael Vicks.

(21:22):
I think we had a unique situation in that class
right there.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
We got to play against some great players.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
So some of the things that that sort of weird
their heads during this game, and something we saw last year,
which is stopping to run. So what are some of
the things that this team can do to sort of
mitigate that, which was that a shoe last year?

Speaker 6 (21:38):
Well, I think one of the things that's important to
remember is like they didn't really game plan this game.
They're just kind of all on their base stuff. So
if you got one side that's game planning and one
side that's running based stuff. Yeah, I'll tell you right now.
I'm not a smart man, as Fred already alluded to,
but I can tell you how to block a certain
front if I know you're gonna line up in that. Yeah,
that's the essentially what the Patriots were taking advantage of,
Like the new tendencies. We had a joint practice them.

(22:00):
They kind of understood what was going on. You could
tell they put a lot more time into it. So
what I would say is, you're gonna get better personnel
out there. You're gonna get deron Pay, You're gonna get
kin Law, you're gonna get Armstrong.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
You need all these starters out there.

Speaker 6 (22:09):
You're gonna get Bobby Wagner getting people lined up, Frankie
Luvu like that's step one, right. You're gonna get guys
that have seen a lot of football that can excue
at a high level, you're gonna get into some different fronts,
like that's the first thing. Even in practice out here,
you see them get into overs, unders, bears, odd odd
spacing like all that stuff. The more diversity they can
present in the front, the harder it is for the
offensive line. You know exactly what to do. And they

(22:31):
didn't do that here. They didn't have to do it here,
they didn't want to do it here. I think that's
something that's just an easy tweak they can add in
and something I expect to see again Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Actually, well, when you think about the Bengals, like, what
is something you want to see? Because now we'll probably
see a few more of the starters get in there.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
And Cincinnati they've been playing.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Their guys because they want to get rid of those
slow starts of it had the past couple of seasons.

Speaker 6 (22:50):
Yeah, So what I'd like to see, Fred, and you
probably speak to this too, is I just want to
see an efficient start, right, Yes, offense come out with
the football. Can we complete the football? Can we run efficiently?
Can we make sure we're not having any mental mistakes?
Actually thought the offensive line played really well. I know
a lot of backs are there? Played really well against
New England? Can that continue?

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Right?

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Can we build on that? If Laramie Tunseel plays. I
don't know if he is going to play or not,
but if he does play, can he be dominant?

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Right?

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Can at which which I think he can? Like you said,
this is how we're looking for his consistency. Get in,
get the plays, get the move, get the ball. Movie
on defense three and ows can we get like can
we play with make plays?

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Right?

Speaker 6 (23:25):
Just make plays everything we've seen in practice, Let's see
it on the field. I mean that's really as simple
as it is, Like these practices have been incredibly sharp.
Let's bring that to the game home.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
And I think since nat would be a great Baramada,
Like he's one of those teams with elite quarterbacking, would
elite wide receiving, They have a good offensive line, they
can run the ball, so it's a great test for
the defense.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
Yeah, and I just can't.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
Wait all all those playmakers too. I mean the fact,
like seeing Jamar Chase in the first preseason game they had,
it was kind of mind blowing. I was like, you're
not worried about this dude getting hurt, But if he's
playing great for Tremos Reps. Let's see how well you
can play that man coverage and against arguably one of
the best passing the best passing quarterback in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I'd love to see Amoseeth. This dude has not missed.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
I mean from honestly, from the jump, it looks like
he's belonged as soon as you stepped on the field here.

Speaker 6 (24:11):
Yeah, I mean, Tremos is definitely one of the probably
the player of camp I guess to a certain extent,
like he's just done a great job. You mentioned the youth,
but you don't really feel the youth.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
You feel he plays like a forty year old man.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
You feel the confidence, you see the experience, you see
the composure.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:24):
The other thing, Fred that you know, we do our
ticket to the draft show in the off season, we
talk about draft picks. He's like the ball skills and
I was like, does that translate? And you just see
him like the balls in the air. There's no panic.
I can find the football. I can play the football.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
You see him him playing that deep ball, not worried
about it, running through the play.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
He understands he's there, like mentally there.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
And I always tell people if he has the intestinal
forty two to stay right there on that offensive line,
I mean, on that line of scammagem Press that guy
and run with that guy. Is a is a rookie
that tells me he's already poor as he's already there.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Well, he sounds good and he looks good slogan flaws.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
Thank you, thank you, Jakes, I don't know about that.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Let's talk about Seegeek for a second.

can call us seven oh three seven six seven four
one nine or send us an email as well. Washington
get loud at gmail dot com, and Anna has unlocked

(25:51):
your phone.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I'm honored to be here. I'm slightly afraid you guys
won't be.

Speaker 7 (25:54):
Able to hear us because of all these natural sounds
in the tent.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Don't worry about a us.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
Yeah, we got a lot of night sounds going there. Okay,
let me I'll translate it allout that. Sorry, I'm gonna
yell to the mic and say yell to you guys.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (26:10):
Leonard from Florida could in big fan of Fred loves
the show. He says that since there's always cooking competitions
going on, Fred needs to do a cooking competition with
the members of the audience in honor of.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Beat Bobby Flay.

Speaker 7 (26:24):
It should be file at Fred Smooth and he's already
worked out some plans. Let him know fans have suggested
this before. I think the situation is we don't have
a location.

Speaker 5 (26:36):
We would need to find a location.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
And we would need to figure out how we get this, how.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
We get this going right.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
I accept his food cooking challenge because I am fred
Smooth aka Freddy Kraka, and I turned down no challenge,
and I accept the all challenge.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
So I will take on the.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Fan base in cooking, just like I took on the
fan base in bowling, and I destroyed everybody in Garland,
everybody in VA, and everybody in DC.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
So yes, Freddy Kraker accepts his challenge.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
What is your If you had to pick one meal, dish,
one dish, that is your specialty?

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Yes, your peace, the resistance? What is that?

Speaker 3 (27:17):
I love to cook holiday food? Okay, so Thanksgiving dinner,
like the whole dinner. Yeah, dressing all right, greens, mac
and cheese, turkey, fried turkey, everything, the whole spread.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I like to do that. Okay, that's my thing. I
mean that's a big undertaking.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
No, I enjoy that like food is like it's food
and family are two are the same things.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Like food will bind a family together together, yeah, big
meal together as so I love to cook.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
And then like when I was a player, on Thanksgiving
and on Christmas, usually we can't get home to our family,
so the single guys usually don't have nowhere to eat
on Thanksgiving, and so I used to cook Thanksgiving dinner
and Christmas dinner for the teammates. They didn't have any
family member, so my house was packed every Thanksgiving and
every Christmas with my teammates.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I mean that's a wonderful thing. Yeah, annaysman number two is.

Speaker 5 (28:13):
That oysmil number two.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
We read it David is Jacob Fry. He has a
hot take is that Deebo Samuel will get over fifteen
hundred yards this season. Jaden Daniels will win MVP and
Super Bowl MVP, and they will win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
My god Lord, from yo, from your right out the
God's ears, all right, I hope that true because if
Deebo does get fifteen hundred, we're probably in the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
If he has that big of a season and that's
just receiving yards or total.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Yard now that's just totally just total yards. Yeah, it's
gonna be tough. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
If he gets eleven hundred receiving, four hundred uh rush,
I mean two hundred rushing and two hundred more return.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
I mean if he does that, this team will be
in the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Yeah, Because the way Cliff works, he'll want to spread
the ball around to all the different talents on offense.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
So if Debo does that, then I agree it's a lot.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Though, No, it's a lot, and it's a lot to
put on a second year quarterback to get Super Bowl
MVP and MVP. That's a top task. But if anybody
could do it, Jedi five could do it. He is
the ultimate force multiplier. So I'm totally down with that.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
And also I'm happy with not seeing it.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
I know we'll see him at some point, but all
the reports are, oh, just wait, just wait, because now
he's even more comfortable in the offense.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Yeah, just wait what Cliff and jdu five could do together.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
And that offensive line is gonna unlock him. The offensive
line is gonna give him like a lot of time.
Last year, Cliff will keep the tight end in with
Chip with backs. He don't have to do that this year.
So we gonna really see what Cliff Keensbury offense really
looks like this year. And then when you got a
guy like Debo, that ultimate chess piece, that where is
he at like for defense?

Speaker 4 (29:50):
It's gonna change everything, right.

Speaker 7 (29:52):
And then last last voicemail, Ray down in North Carolinas
looking forward to handing Dallas two l's this season. Any
preview on Dallas or thoughts on the Cowboys in general.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Ceedee Lamb almost got lost with the season a few
days ago.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Yeah, referee, but guess what, you know? What tell Dallas
into Dallas fans? We know only we're not. We're not
into Dallas sweepstakes anymore. Our season is not measured by
beating Dallas twice. Yeah, they're beneath us, all right, lone
live there, Jerry Jones. I want Jerry Jones to live
one hundred more years so he can continue to destroy his team.

(30:33):
We don't measure by them anymore. We're measured with Philadelphia.
We don't care what Dallas do. When I played, it
was as long as we beat Dallas two times. The
season is okay. We're no longer there anymore.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
We're better than that. Championship contenders.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
We know.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
We don't look down on anybody, but we also don't
stoop to people level.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
We're not gonna stoop to their level.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Let them eat porch, all right, let them be who
they are.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
We're not there anymore.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
It used to be okay, not a great season, but
will be Dallas. Now it's oh, we're gonna have a
great season.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
And by the way, we're just gonna beat them along
the way, right. We don't judge ourself by them, all right,
we don't do anything.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
We're not no lonely Jerry Jones.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Also, I'm so glad too, because I get so tired
of hearing these cowboys fans in DC.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
I've lived in DC for two decades. Yeah, way too
many cowboys fans in the district. Listen, if you talk.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
To Dadas Cowboys fans right now, which I have them
in my family, they all got this stare in their
face right now.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
They're staring into the abyss.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
So I'm like, what y'all gonna do this year?

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Man?

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yeah, we're gonna be all right. Yeah, like me, they
have lost you know.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Us, They just yeah yeah yeah now they just yeah. Man,
I'm just gonna watch the season, man, just gonna watch.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
The I'm just decided for football.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
Yeah, man, how do you feel about your quarterback?

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Yeah? Yeah, that's good. You know, just keeping healthy. Y'all
gonna keep Michael poses man. I hope.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
So I don't know, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
All I know is the fans watching us lift weights.
You know, hey, listen, lone live Jerry Joe.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Hot out of here. Oh no, it's blazing. The devil
lives in Ashburn. Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
So so during the preseason we saw some rookies play.
So I'm gonna throw some rookie names here and just
get your thoughts. First of all, a guy you like,
A guy I like Jackson Dark looks really good for
the Giants. He's got great arms strength, he was greater
old miss. It's only a matter of time before he takes.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Over, for he's more mobile than people think he is too.
He's a better after lead than he is. Can you
have any better name as a quarterback than darts and
dart like dropping darts everywhere? And he guys got like
elite neighbors out there. They got they got some pieces
over there. The question is how long it is gonna
take him the mature? How fast do he catched the playbook?
And how fast does he get on the field. Do

(32:53):
you think, oh politician Russell Wilson gonna keep him off
the field? I do you think, James Listen?

Speaker 2 (32:59):
I love Winston.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
I could be the biggest James Winston fan of all.
I want to see j Bow on the field.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
He's got to be on at some point.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
I feel like What will happen is the Giants will
start with Russ. They'll see if they can make something
out of the season. It'll be pretty clear that they can't,
so then they'll say, all right, let's just go with Dark.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
All right, give me this. Okay.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Remember Russ came out when he sat with the Broncos
and came out with the slogan, let's ride.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
What is his jake? What is his Giants slogan?

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Man, Let's let's tower everybody, Giants country, big blue something.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Social media team did him so dirty though, my god,
he got a different like you know, more bad. I
love everything about Colorado. And by the way, let's rye.
I was like, what the heck? Yeah, he just lost me.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
He just lost me. Let's ride, man, what's hall? I mean,
he's a Hall of Famer.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
But but where he was in the quarterback panthey on
the drop was so precipitous Richard, Okay, and it's excited
about this. Shador Sanders came with a entourage ready to start.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
They retired his number before he even signed his contract.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
He came in four strength quarterback, gets it. He didn't
look very good, No, he looked very good.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
If I'm pulling for anybody, I'm pulling for Shadu Yeah,
because I feel like he was blackballed. I feel like
because his pops, which I idolized his pops, Yeah, that
they held it against him and she do it. We're
out there look good like and it's a preseason game.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
I'm not finna blow it up, but I'm just happy.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
To see that kid dig his way out.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
We see this all the time, when the league tried
to bury a guy before he even get there. I
kind of feel like it's kind of Steph Curry's because
when Steph came out, they were saying he was too small,
he's injury prone, he ain't his daddy. He better than
his daddy. Well, I hope she don do the same thing.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
You know what's interesting.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
I was talking to a guy who covers the Browns
in Cleveland this morning and he was saying that if
you watch practice, they because they drafted Dylan Gable before Shoudor,
they are dying for Dylan Gable to be that guy
because they don't want to have agg on their face.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
But it's Shaduur who always looks better. No, Shadua is.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
A better passer than Hiln Gabriel. Gabril might be a
little bit mobile than him.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
Uh, I think with all the rest of the quarterbacks
being right handers and him being a left hander, I
think that's gonna fix the way they call on offense.
So it's a little bit of everything, and I think
Shadure will overcome everything. And if you can overcome the
brown the Doodoo Browns, you can overcome anything.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
The win totals four and a half, the season not
gonna be great.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Whoa get loud?

Speaker 1 (35:41):
So Travis Sunter made the debut for Jacksonville play offense
and defense eighteen snaps totals, so didn't play a ton,
but he's definitely gonna be a.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Two way players.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Man, listen, man, he is show hay Etani of the NFL.
All right, we've been waiting to see this happen because
usually we all do this in high school. Like we
all do it because we're young. We got enough players
on our belt. They're gonna give him a legit chance.
Like think about this, Jinx, this guy has a chance

(36:12):
to win Offensive Rookie of the Year and defensive Rickordy.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
That's true, Like, and all he's.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Gonna take is like four interceptions and like fifty receptions.
Like that's all he's gonna tell you. Like, this guy
has a chance. I'm putting for tray up. I think
he can do it. I just want to see does
he wear down? Is the year go on with with
with offensive teams running at him? Yeah, not passing at him,
running at him, because if they force him to make

(36:38):
twelve tackles a game, you're not gonna be catching seven
passes a game.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Also, I saw these ridiculous headlines Ashton genty huge disappointment
in debut.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
I'm like, okay, what are you talking about? Three times? Like,
what are you gonna do? Man? You know what?

Speaker 4 (36:54):
This is?

Speaker 3 (36:55):
A paralysis by over analysis?

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Yes, like this is what this is.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
At this time of the year, everybody is so happy
football is a back.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
They're looking for every story.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
And because this.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Guy got niggative one yours O three cars, all of
a sudden he ain't good.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Right, stop it, stop it.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Anybody else that shoot out to you, someone you notice
the seem that may be surprised you. It's hard because
again it's the first I never really know.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
It's the preseason, so I don't really get too excited
like I say, maybe it should do. It is the
leading story for me because I don't think the Browns
want him to not succeed, but I don't think they
loving on him the way that they should love on
him and lordship guy, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
They it's weird because he's on the roster, they're not
paying him like they're paying anyone else, and yet they
kind of don't want him to be the guy.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
It feels like he the step son in the room.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
It's like, you know, I love all y'all kids the same,
but not you step son. That's how it feels to me.
And for him to overcome that, I think that's the story.
That's the story.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
Man.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Is he gonna force their hand to play him? I
think that's the one thing. And I think they're gonna
start this season with Joe Flacco. Probably he's gonna be
the guy, but you know how it is, a're not
gonna win many games. And then how healthy is still
in Gab. I think she is gonna have to work
for it, probably more than he should. But if he
gets his opportunity, like you said he might, he might
force him to say we gotta go.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
Hold on if you if you the Cleveland Browns jinks?

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Yeah, are you seriously seriously thinking about starting Joe Flacco?

Speaker 4 (38:28):
I think they are.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
What's the mission here? Like, what are you trying to
accomplish with Joe flac Diaverdi? What are you? What are
you trying to do? Because you can't say win the
Super Bowl, right, you can't say winning season.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
You can't say for the future. What are you tried?

Speaker 4 (38:46):
I don't get it, like I.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Do not get it as a backup, yes, yeah, if
the if the if the young guys fall to Yes,
But if I'm starting the season with Joe Fleco, what
am I telling my fan base? And I we're the Browns,
that's what you're telling them? Hey, in case you forgot
with the Browns, Hey, and I'm gonna I'm gonna get
these fans. This Browns fans are some of the best

(39:09):
fans in sports.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
They really are, because that they might be, they might
live in misery, but they keep coming back.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
They are some of the best fans.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
You want to talk about living in a kimo, They
live in a toilet and they enjoy it all. They
enjoy it all and they enjoy every minute of it.
If you're going into a season with Joe Flack the Verdy,
there's your quarterback. You're not trying to win? And Anna,
don't you take that kimole off of there? Literally was like, no, commode.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
When's the last time you heard someone say kimo? That's
old school? Hey? Hey, hey, can everybody say tilet? Yeah?
Commode is old.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
Nobody says kmoling. I know, like what if somebody got
up and say, you know what, I'd be right back.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
You're going to it's really not Could you spell kamo?
I can try? Please, George? What okay?

Speaker 4 (40:05):
Choorge what Texas gave you all this?

Speaker 1 (40:08):
This is not gonna be right. I would just go
ce O, M m O d E co is there
an a?

Speaker 2 (40:15):
I don't know. I don't know, I don't know. I
don't look a look at teaching it. Maybe will have
an answer by the end of the.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Pod something if the fan will have to really spell kmo. Yeah,
then you got us, Yeah, you got you know how
to spell comoe?

Speaker 2 (40:25):
You got us too? Ms all right? Got him?

Speaker 4 (40:29):
Texas so.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Number one in the country for how long though? Y'all
play hi your state the first game?

Speaker 4 (40:37):
Y'all play Hio State the first is arch.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Playing just gonna play the season.

Speaker 7 (40:41):
I think they're gonna be the most exciting team in
college football this season. And I say this as a
Buffs fan.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
You know what. This is room and the bandwagon and
come on, let's.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
Say I'm a big arch running man in fan. I
like arch I like his approach to it. He don't want.

Speaker 2 (40:56):
Nothing given to him. He wanted to earn everything. He
seems a good game. He doesn't say anything. He's like,
I haven't done anything. No, he's a good kid.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
I think he's gonna be maybe the greatest man in
of all time because at their daddy, Archie, Archie could run.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
That's true, like Peyton could run, Eli could run.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
So you're gonna you're gonna mix that intellect with that
football DNA and running ability.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
He got a chance to be the best man in
of all time.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
And do you think.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
Let's start a conspiracy? Conspiracy conspiracy?

Speaker 2 (41:29):
All right, check this out.

Speaker 4 (41:31):
I think the New Orleans Saints are tanking for arch manning.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
They want another man.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
Sure, they don't even have to Archie. They want arch
to put on the New Orleans Saints jersey.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
And I know you, but in New Orleans, Archie is everywhere.
The Mannings are everywhere.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Yes, this dude is drafted to New Orleans. Isna be pandemonium.
If you're talking about the how you're selling jersey, you're
talking about more pressure. Then let me think of a
first round number one pick that head.

Speaker 4 (42:02):
I guess Peyton, probably Peyton.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
Yeah, it'll probably be the most pressure since Peyton.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Man. Yeah, most definitely. Man. I hope you're right.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
Yeah, But I think y'all gonna be go on one. Congratulations.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
I think one to know it went out right, I
right thumbus week one.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
You know it's gonna be the that's gonna be the
biggest regular season opener of all times, number two.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Number one versus number two.

Speaker 3 (42:25):
And I actually think y'all go win because I don't
know who's Ohio State quarterback.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
You're still figuring it out.

Speaker 4 (42:30):
I don't know who their quarterback is. Do they got
the best receiver in the nation? They do?

Speaker 2 (42:34):
But who's throwing him the ball?

Speaker 4 (42:35):
Which really matters?

Speaker 1 (42:37):
Before we go, I just want to say before I forget, Yeah,
look at the new helmet, the new Get Loud helmet.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
How about that with the Cuddy water in front of
its good Get Loud with jenks and smooth.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
You want to you want to get out? Yeah, yeah,
here we go. You go ahead and pull out the phone. Yeah,
let me see what I got in here. You know,
I love to geek out. That's one of my favorite
things because I'm a nerd. Missippi State we breed nerds.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
All right.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
If it won't for us, we went and got to
the moon. You know that's true.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Right?

Speaker 1 (43:08):
Did you have someone who was part of the jet
propulsion laboratory or an astro?

Speaker 2 (43:12):
I don't know the answer to this.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
We did, okay, all right, that's all I got to say. Hey,
you know what, I find this one a very all right,
and it's about something that we know we see all
the time.

Speaker 4 (43:25):
All right.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
I just found out that if a hermit crab okay,
finds a bigger shell, okay, it will.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
Explore it and see can it fit in it.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
If the shell is too big for it, it will
wait by that shell for eight hours for other crabs
to come along and try it out.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
All right.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
After these other crabs come along and try the shell out,
when they.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Recognize that the shell is too.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Big, they would exchange shells to make sure everybody has
a shell that fits them. So they are vake basically okay,
organized enough to understand what shell fits what person?

Speaker 4 (44:04):
I mean what cramp? Yeah, imagine that people was like this.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
So it's like a men's warehouse. Yeah about this? This
is too bod What about you circle?

Speaker 4 (44:12):
Will you come on over here? You fit this one
better than they do.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
And they do that type of organization right there is
why mother Nature it's so good at what she does.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
This is why Mother Nature is never wrong.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
Fire star stained water gives you life, but too much
water a kill you.

Speaker 4 (44:29):
It's a balance beautiful.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
Well, with that, we got to bring a special guest,
right yeah, special guests, let's do it.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
I don't know who it is, but let's bring it
in first.

Speaker 3 (44:38):
Night special last name, yes, Fred Smooth here with Tyler
b otis one of my favorite office blindmen.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
I'm gonna jump right into it.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
Tyler Man, how does it feel to be a part
of this new revamp offensive line? And as I go
down through this office line, it really opened my eyes.
I got Larrymie Thompson, all pro left guard, I mean
on a left tackle. I got me a Coleman literally
moving from lift tackle to guard. I got a pro
Bowl center. I got Sam Cosmy went healthy a pro

(45:07):
bowl gard and I got the rookie Connley at the
right tackle. How does it feel to be a part
of these new group?

Speaker 5 (45:13):
Yeah, I think the biggest part is this the the
experience you have with it, but also the competition within
it too of like how how great can we be?
And like that that discipline in that mindset of whenever
DQ obviously says like wherever, wherever, Like we're coming.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
Right now, we're hunter right yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (45:33):
Anybody anywhere, any place right yeah, And that and that's real.
So like that's demanded of us all the time, and
that that that greatness of potential of what we can be,
Like that's the strive of like greatness. That's the choice
that we make each and every day, and if if
it's not up to that standard, like we get out
on each other's asses about it too, like you know,
and like obviously this is the acclamation period of like

(45:54):
how can we just continue to grow each and every day?
And like that's the most exciting thing is like making
that choice every day of greatness and building how great
of chemistry we can have within combination blocks. Yeah, the communication,
but also like the stamina too, like you.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Gotta keep going. Yeah, you gotta keep going. Yeah, and
it has.

Speaker 5 (46:12):
To keep going and to keep peaking at the right
time in the right place, and like it'll come like
how it comes, but like how how you guys, how
we see it in the vision of our reality. That's
what we live every day, and like, I think that's
the most exciting thing.

Speaker 2 (46:24):
I always say this.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
I equate an offensive line group to basically a boar
bade because y'all have to be literally in sync with
each other for sure, Like how long does it take
y'all to get that ball?

Speaker 2 (46:36):
Like y'all have to go through stuff to get right?

Speaker 5 (46:38):
Yeah, no, for sure. I think I think the biggest
part is too. It's just like the chemistry and continuity
of like like even like the language of how you
speak it, and like the timing of it, like, hey,
can we get that call out quicker just so you
can get set faster, or or when we get to
the ball, like having a quicker point so we can
you know that tempo that we use on our offense,
and like there's so many different keys and advantages. It's

(47:01):
just going out there, yeah, say, like doing what you're
gonna do. But like in visualizing it first, and like
obviously that's where you have like the meeting time and
like you have the plan, the prep and like the
vision for it and then going out and doing it
to like and just keep raising that bar of like
how great can you do it?

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (47:19):
How great can y'all be?

Speaker 2 (47:20):
As a group?

Speaker 3 (47:20):
And he got another thing, how hard is it because
it's an X defensive player we al Waited found it
hard to stop running quarterbacks? But as a blocker, how
hard is it to block for a guy that you
don't know where he's gonna be at it even given
time in the game.

Speaker 5 (47:35):
Yeah, I think that's that's what makes like the blocks
even more crucial. I think like the biggest part is
like with the zone read element. That's a huge factor
of like how defenses kind of play you, because you're
gonna get a different look like all the time. Good
amount of time, like you know, like just there's a
good amount of like obviously, like you know, you go
through running stalls and like obviously defense you know, like
by this formation they have this, this, this and this

(47:56):
right yeah or whatever, But like as an offense and
how versatil we are, Like you know, there's there's a
little bit more to prep in regards to like how
defense is because a lot of people that like last
year they played Jayden like differently too and like throughout
the year. So but that's where you have a great
system in place. That's why they have a great like
rules of like hey like for certain landmarks and certain hits.
But like that makes even even more of the block

(48:18):
because it's like you really don't know, like you really
don't know behind you what's happening right what? But that
but that's kind of the reality you live in too,
So it's like it's nothing like new it's more so
like how just how more detail can those blocks be?
If you know, you don't play the what if game?
But you hit them square on? So it's like you're
kind of like fighting pressure for pressure to see in
like what's direction of like where their backers are seeing
it or whatever. So but that's what that's what's awesome

(48:40):
about is that, like you you have to have that
mindset of like there isn't a guessing game. It's a
reaction game.

Speaker 3 (48:46):
You know, you go to think about it like blocking
for you know, the thing about it is a defensive
back when we played running quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
We couldn't.

Speaker 3 (48:53):
We didn't play a lot of man to man because
we didn't want to turn out back to him. You say,
they still have to play Jade different during the year different?

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Did they start the plan?

Speaker 3 (49:01):
Was it more their own blessing that they was trying
to do but they trying to put pressure on you?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (49:06):
I'm not gonna go into a lot of details of
how they're doing it, but but I can just tell
you though, you get you get a versas little different
fronts and different coverages and different personnels on the field
to different formations. But again, like you know, however, the
game plan I guess, but that's why we have like
like a great system in place and great checks and
great you know obviously like uh like the offensive identity

(49:28):
of what we want to run and how we want
to do it right, So we get to we get
to control that. That's what's probably the most fun about
it too.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
I can't wait to see what the office is glad.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
To do this year. Man, Thanks, thank you for having me.
Thank you. Come on, Punking.

Speaker 8 (49:43):
Bevoice three, Punk two six, Let's go haveving Pom.
