Speaker 1 (00:00):
Coming up on the Booth Review, We're going to recap
the latest loss to Philadelphia.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It felt like a microcosm for the season. Injuries, all
this stuff, all this adversity.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Man tough deal, and we're looking ahead to the Christmas
Day matchup against the hated Dallas Cowboys with Santa Fletch.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
That's coming up next.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Welcome into the latest edition of the Booth Review podcast.
I'm Bram Weinstein with London Fletcher and Logan Paulson. Were
brought to you by Microsoft Surface Copilot plus PC. We
are in the Big Bear AI Command Center studio. Happy Early,
Merry Christmas. That's the unusual week where we get to
play Dallas on Christmas Day at home. I think both
sides wish the records were a little bit different. I

(00:39):
think the NFL had wish the records were a little
bit different. But it's still really cool. Arch Rivals Christmas
Day Northwest Stadium.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
It's going to be really amazing.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah, there's nothing like playing the Dallas Cowboys and also
the opportunity to play on Christmas Day. I don't think
either team will have any problems getting up for this game.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Regardless of the record. We want to win another ball game.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
I know both teams are eliminated from the playoffs, but man,
it's just something about when these two teams get together. Yeah,
there's a respectful or professional hatred for the Dallas Cowboys,
and we need to win this football game to split
the season series with them.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Yeah, no, I totally agree.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
And a lot of adversity for the Commanders obviously in
this one, with injuries and stuff, which we'll get into.
But yeah, it's always it's ever hard to get up
for Cowboys game, right, and especially that it's like a
national game.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Everyone's gonna be watching. It'll be a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
All right, let's review.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
We'll get a little bit into the Dallas game in
a little bit, but let's get back to the Eagles game,
which happened on Saturday night at Northwest Stadium. And I
liked how you use professional and respect now, because I'm
not totally sure that both of those would have applied
to this. But we'll just leave it at that, right,
Like this is an age old rival. They did what
they did at the end of the game, whatever, Like
why don't we just talk about what happened in this

(01:52):
throughout the course of it and in the first half,
Washington was able to limit Philadelphia in a number of
different ways, caught a couple of breaks with a couple
of miss goals, but found themselves in a ball game
with the team that had been struggling to kind of
move the ball as effectively as they had a year
ago when they got to the Super Bowl, and then
the second half things turned, and for you, it's been
like this has been our season, right yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yeah, I mean for me, like I said this on
the post game, it's been a microcosm of the season.
And what I mean by that is, I think it
kind of you come in with all this optimism, all
this hope, like people playing well, people are healthy, and
then obviously, like the second half of this ball game,
in my opinion, is derailed by injuries. You know, kind
of like the season and again you just can't catch
a break. The backup quarterbacks in you're moving people around
on the offensive line, and you just see kind of

(02:34):
when the talent starts to deteriorate, you can't hang and
so you know, be Mitch and Tana and I were
talking and it's like, man, you know, like everyone says,
like this is the litmus Tess game because this is
the team that won the division. And I came out
of the first half specifically being like, it doesn't feel
like we're that far off, you know what I mean,
Like when we're when the commanders are healthy, when they're healthy,
and we're executing the way we can execute. Like obviously

(02:54):
there's things like we need more pass rush, maybe another corner,
more playmakers, whatever it is, but there's not It's not like,
oh my gosh, they're in like a different stratosphere of
the way that you know, like obviously we were banging
up earlier in the season. It felt like so to me,
it was, yeah, just a perfect microcosm like everything, like
when everything's healthy, everyone's good, it's a good product. When
there's injuries, we just can't whether that storm and it yeah, tough.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Now when you when you look at that first half
of the game, obviously he starts off with the kickoff
forced fumble by Quant Kwan by Mikey Sanders, Steel presents
our offense in great field position. Would have loved to
get a touchdown out of that off that turnover, but
ended up with three points. And you saw in the
first half man Mary Olda's the offense is efficient the

(03:38):
run game, I thought was impactful and that was something
that we needed to have going and working for us
in that ball game. Thought the running backs were our
standing in the first half, as you mentioned, catching a
couple of breaks with their with their kick or missing
with a three.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Field goals miss two officially missed three, but they got
it finally on one and missed the second one.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Benefited from that and defense.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I think it was a big stop if I'm not mistaken.
Second half or maybe it was Mikey or somebody had
a nice, nice PBu and then.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
The second half, we're getting the ball.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
It's second half, like okay, And then as you mentioned Logan,
things kind of went downhill once Mariota got injured.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yeah, because I mean even coming out a halftime they
had that explosive play to trailing birds to kind of
spark them off. You're like, okay, here we go. And
then I think it was on that series, Mariota goes
out with the quad hand concussion scenario, and it.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Didn't seem like like when he went to the to
the tent, it's like what happened. Yeah, nothing was obvious
to us in terms of what happened to him.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Well, you know, like I get to stand by and
they do like the medical EVL on the screen and
like they're looking at his head hitting the turf and
is and I think it was two plays before when
he was running out of bounds he like kind of
aggravated because so they had a lot of stuff going
on in the moment. But yeah, it's just was tough, man.
And I think it also makes you appreciate, at least
me anyway, like the value of Marcus to the team
this season. And now, like you know, Jayden is obviously

(05:02):
you know the guy, but Marcus is like, you know,
one B in terms of how effective he's been keeping
the offense on schedule.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah, I think it's so interesting. I was thinking back
to the Kansas City game. Here are the two teams
that were in the Super Bowl a year ago. Obviously
Can't City hasn't had the season that they won either,
but here are the two teams that are in the
Super Bowl, And it was very similar games. Like the
game plan worked to keep them alive even amid all
the injuries. They have half their roster at times, and
certain either whether defense or offense at times, they kept
the game close. They got to halftime, it's a one

(05:30):
score game, and that's when things kind of started to
change in the second half. And so I think, you know,
we were talking about this on the broadcast, and I
think this is something that we're a couple of weeks
away from, but we're gonna have a lot of discussions
about these are the teams you compare yourself to. That's
the team that's won the division two years in a row,
first team to do that in twenty years. That's the
team that won the Super Bowl a year ago. And
the entire offseason was mainly about managing expectations that the

(05:52):
Commanders would have after being twelve and five, and did
they bridge the gap with Philadelphia, the team that they
have to chase and catch if they want to get
where they want to get to. I think we're going
to have that again as we look at this. And
yet at the same time, it's like an incomplete conversation.
We never saw our offense together at any point in time.
And again, like to your point, to your point, like

(06:13):
they figured out ways to be effective with what they've had.
The run game was working early, the defense was able
to limit them enough, they got enough fortuitous moments on
special teams one they caused in a couple of nice
misses and suddenly they were kind of in these games.
And to your point, it doesn't feel like they're that
far away, but they are. And so I think we're
just kind of like we're going to toggle between that,

(06:34):
you know, for the next six to eight months.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Really, as you look.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
At that game, when I think about third downs, was
a big difference in that game. We we end up
in too many third and long situations and some of
those were self inflicted wounds, penalties, things like that, where
we just we weren't staying ahead of the chains. And
going against Philly and Big Fangio on the way he
operates that defense, you don't want to have a lot

(07:00):
of third and long situations. I guess them because they
got some pass rushers that can get out to the
quarterback and the covered structure that they have, it's a difficult,
difficult cover structure to kind of figure out and to
make plays against them. And then conversely, defensively, we allowed
Jalen Hurts to convert some third down situation with its legs,

(07:22):
we'd get them in in situation he's able to the
one touchdown we had him third and fifteen the touchdown team?
Was it to Goddard? Yeah, I think it was Dallas Goddard.
He steps up in the pocket third fifteen touchdown, you know,
and it's because just being able to step up in
the pocket, big lane between the defensive end of the

(07:43):
defensive tackle, and then there were a number of occasions
where he was able to escape out of the pocket,
either pick up legs, pick up the first down with
his legs, or by time find out with receivers. So
when you look at that, it's like, man, the third downs,
I think was the was the main your issue in
that ball game, us being a too many third down

(08:04):
third and lungs and conversely us allowing them to convert
some third downs, especially with hers and his legs.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Yeah, but I mean I think that's maybe maybe Again,
why this game feels like such a microcosmo of the
season is without explosive plays from special teams, exposive plays
on defense and efficiency on offense.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
So you really have to play like a perfect game.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, you kind of need, like the phrase means is
perfect game flow, right, You kind of need to be
ahead of the sticks. You'll be able to get some
of these other explosive opportunities from elsewhere because the offense
can't always sustain it. You need to play complimentary football.
Defense needs to get off on third down. Offense seats
to stay on the field for long, extended drives, and
like that was the formula last year and again for
a myriad of reasons, they've been able to do that

(08:44):
this year, and I think that's why again this game,
to me, shows some of the warts, some of the
areas for improvement, but also shows that you can if
you are if you can manage that game flow like
you're talking about Fletch, you can be in any football game.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
Really.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
So take me through defense a little bit and how
you're thinking about her Aj Brown, DeVante Smith, Saquon Barkley,
their line, Goddard's strong group. Their metrics are way down
this year. However, we're missing a lot of key parts
and we're rushing three maybe four, we're not getting home
hurts his finding room. How are how do you think
dan Quinn is thinking about how do we utilize this

(09:17):
to try to limit the big plays against us?

Speaker 4 (09:20):
And that was it.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
You didn't see a lot of five or six man
pressures because when you do that, this is gonna end
up a lot of one on one coverages on the
outside with those receivers, and he mentioned it in his
press conference. Those are two big play wide receivers. And
when you're gonna, if you're gonna play man, if you're
gonna bring pressure, that exposes you to some man and
man coverage against these receivers. And and especially with the

(09:45):
with AJ Brown because of his big body, you gotta
be at to tackle too if you're gonna if you're
gonna have one on one against Jaylen Hurt. I mean
against a J. Brown, you saw a lot of hitches
that he was getting because we're playing off coverage. We're
saying we're not gonna allow him to get deep on us.
But you know they you can't have Hurts also be
able to run with the first downs. And then one

(10:08):
thing I thought that their offensive coordinated did a great job
of is going to that empty formation. They spread us out.
They had three three by two three receiver. They had
speed at speed at the number three position. So you
getting a J. Brown against a linebacker and then if
and then also you got two receivers here. We played
we played some cover two quarters as well, not Cover two. Yeah,

(10:31):
cover two quarters and then also there was a man
and man situation, so DQ was trying to mix it up,
and but Philly had it going in that in that
formation against our defense.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah, and I think the thing that you know, like
with Dan specifically, is he's kind of kind of Jerry
rigging stuff together at times, right, So, like I think
on the first third and seven we broke that down
on Coaches Show. They did a great job kind of
showing man coverage then getting the cover two first puts
the ball out, you make a tackle right when you
get in the empty all of a sudden, those disguises
which have been so helpful throughout the game, you can't

(11:04):
disguise the same way. So actually it's obviously man, it's
obviously two, it's obviously quarters. And I feel like Hurt's
kind of got really comfortable in those sets, and I
was actually kind of surprised they didn't get back into it.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
More after that long drive that they had.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
But it just when you I think the thing you've
said this every week, and it's just you know, kind
of beat the dead horse here. When you can't rush
with four and when you can't create pressure like this
is the type of game you're in when you're in
a lot of coverage situations, you're rallying the tackle, you're
kind of hoping for that penalty or you know, drop
pass to kind of get you in a second and

(11:37):
long third long situations? Can you capitalize it? And I
think they did a decent job of capitalizing on it
in the first half. And then I personally believe this
like in the second half, like the office just didn't
hold up there out of the bargain right, the defenses
on the field way too much.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
You have a bunch of three and outs.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
I think it's like three to three and outs consecutively
have an interception, Like that's just a non tenable situation
for the current personnel of the defensive rows.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
So I think that's where you get that.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
I'll say this too, brown Man, I think probably going
into that game, and it's kind of been the philosophy
since DQ has started taking over calling the plays on defense.
That's been on break, Hey, we'll give up yards between
the twenties, but when we get in the red zone,
let's played great red zone defense, fortunate to kick field
goals and you know, hopefully our offense is going touchdowns

(12:25):
when they get getting those red zone situations and for
I don't know know what we finished Philly as far
as what Philly finished in the red zone areas, but
they were getting touchdowns and we were not holding them
to field goals in the red area.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
The killer player was the Goddard touchdown that was a
third and goal from the fifteen. Yes, so that's the
one I think that they're going to look at and say,
that's the one where they missed on. He made a
very nice catch in a contested situation. But still that
was a very very difficult one to swallow because to
your point of we almost need to play a perfect game,
we can't. We got to if they get down there,
we got to keep them to three. That's the one

(13:00):
that I think they gets. Yeah, I thought we could
have did better. We could have played coverage a little
bit better. Not quant I think there's a I.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Want to say it was a cover two structure on that.
If we can sync back a little bit better as
the corner and Kwan he's he has to stay inside
leverage on that, so we can force him to if
he's gonna try to fit that into that window, Hey,
he might not like it. Some force him throw the
check down, we rally make the tackle, they kick a
field goal. So I'm sure as a defensive staff and players,

(13:32):
they looked at that play and say, man, we could
have played that, played that better.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
And it's not not on I'm not on, not on
quand just how we.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Can fit that just with that on that from the
corner and the safety, just playing that deep the short
is how we call that.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Let me steal the defense just for a month and
profile one player, Bobby Wagner, who we're hoping here by
the end of the year. He needs fifteen tackles to
get to two thousand. Only you and ray Lewis have
ever gotten to that mark in their careers. Bobby cannot
catch you. You for second place this year, you'd have
to have like eighty tackles to do that. That's not
going to happen this year. But fifteen is very manageable

(14:06):
over the last couple of games he's able to play.
Fifteen would be a lot on Thursday, but it would
be manageable to get through to the end of the game. Yeah,
well a couple of weeks ago, yes, but it would
be a lot. But we're hoping that by the end
of the year he does this. I just we'll probably
revisit this next week, but I wonder what your thoughts
are of someone joining a club that only you and
one other are in.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Yeah, it's just a testament to him as a football player.
When you look at the end of the NFL and
the history of the NFL over one hundred years old,
and I know they didn't start tracking tackles until what
maybe the early eighties or whatever the case may be,
But since then, you're still talking about what forty years
or so that only three players in the history, two

(14:48):
players have some eclipse of two thousand mark tackle, you
know Mark, And then how now we got Bobby on
the cusp of doing that. It's just dability, product ativity, preparation,
all the things that it requires to to be at
a perform in that in that manner. So it's I'm

(15:08):
looking forward to the to the time when I can
welcome him into that two thousand club, two thousand tackle club.
And you know, Bobby's Bobby's been an ultimate professional.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
A little bit then to get.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Oh, yeah, absolutely absolutely.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
I mean he's a he's a What I love about
Bobby is and I've shared this back in twenty nineteen,
he reached out to me via social media just hey,
I want to you know, can you share some things
with me? And the respect that he has for the
players who played the position for him before him and

(15:43):
for him to reach out. I know he's reached out
with Ray myself and some of the other guys, like,
you know, what are some of the things you've done
to play at that level or did to play at
that level?

Speaker 4 (15:53):
What are some of the training methods you do? All
those types of things.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
So I can I appreciate him having that that reverence
four players who've done it before him. So no, I'm
absolutely rooted for him to join that club.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
No, I mean it's really cool though.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Yeah, but it's really really cool that he's as close
And I also think it's cool that he's playing as
hard as he is last couple of weeks. Like you know,
there's not like a whole lot on the line for him,
but like you can see the pride, you can see
the competitiveness.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
It's pretty cool, I think.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
You know, I think across the league too, you'll see this,
Like the Raiders didn't lay down for the Texans, Yes,
the Browns didn't lay down for the Bills yesterday and
they both lost, but they lost in very close games
that could have gone either way. The Saints have been
winning here late in the season, so I think you
see the pride around the league, and I think you're
going to see pride from two teams on Thursday as well,
even though the seasons didn't go.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Their way they wanted it to.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
What concerns me about Thursday is how much more healthy
Dallas is than Washington, specifically at the quarterback position. So
there's a concern there. But like if you're wondering about,
like where is everybody's head, where do they go? Go
watch a guy like Bobby Wagner play and it's still met.
Go watch Terry play the other day. Go watch these
guys play, and you'll see the desire to keep playing

(16:59):
no matter what, regardless of what the record is.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
I don't look at I haven't looked at our team
in any ball game.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
It felt like, man, this team has quit. That's that's there.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
At no point during this season, during that whether it
was the eight game losing streak, During that game losing streak,
what you look like, Man, these guys have quit that.
I just haven't seen him and that's a testament to him,
to the guys they've brought into into this, onto this
football team, the coaches, the personnel department, who all the
guys they brought into this, this this building the culture,

(17:31):
because very easily there can be some guys like, oh man,
you know this season has lost some hanging up even
even look at look at Jaden, who's you know, he's
had a bunch of injuries. And when they tell him, hey,
we're gonna shut you down for the year, like he's
disappointed because he wants to play football. I don't care
what our record is. I want to go out and
play football. I want to be out there with my brothers.

(17:52):
I love the game. You only get so many of
these throughout the course of your lifetime. And you you
want to play, and you want to you want to
autograph your work every single time you step between those lines.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Logo.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
No. I think that's a one hundred percent right.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
And I think the thing is, like, you know, I've
been I've been on some bad teams, bad records. I've
said that before in the show. And there's a difference
between playing hard and playing like with the brotherhood and connection.
I think like that's what you're seeing here is that
brotherhood and connection because like you know, like I remember
in Uh, I forget, it was like a Chicago in.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
Twenty sixty and everone's gonna get fired.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
It was kind of getna get blown up, and you know,
like it's like I'm worried about me playing well, and
don't you know, like.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
The coach, you can tell the coaches are yeah, looking up.
They might have be on the phone calling, they trying
to set up a job, you know, because they know
they're going to be looking yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
And again like when you watch, when you watch this
team play, like I don't really feel that, you know,
when I'm walking the sideline, I don't feel that it's
like we're together, We're in this.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
We turn to win the ball game.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
And I think that's that's again a testament to Dan
and a testament to Adam. Like you said, the person tell
they brought in so it's it's cool. And again this
is an ideal, but I think it shows you the
value of something like that in situations like that.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
I think before there was a salary cap, before there
was free agency, before or there was all these analytics,
there were good teams and bad teams in the NFL.
It's not the case anymore. I mean, the difference between
a good team and a bad team in the NFL
is so slim. And this team had everything go wrong
that possibly could have gone wrong, or their record would
be very different than what it is. And this is
what happens year to year, and it can happen to anybody.

(19:19):
I don't believe there's a bad team in the NFL anymore.
Is a very slim margin between there might be great
teams and there might be good teams, but bad teams,
oh no.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
The Raters pretty bad, man, Okay, bad is pretty bad.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
But yet, and then watch if they go get a
new quarterback with the number one, because there's the game
this weekend between the Giants of the Raiders is going
to be for the first overall pick. The loser is
gonna get the first overall pick. So they're gonna have
a quarterback next year with Ashton gent Y. And if
they lose with Astra Genty and Brock Bowers and all
of a sudden, depending on how that quarterback is, you
may not think they're so bad anymore. Overnight, right overnight,

(19:53):
that could happen.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
I think I think The Raiders are obviously a tough
example because they're offensive and defensive lines like need a
lot of work, and like that's usually to me the
better indicator of bad football teams. Like obviously quarterbacks important,
but I guess opposed to skill position guys. But I
do agree with you generally, like the parody this year,
Like I think it's so hard this year to be
like who's the best team in the NFL, Like it's
really hard to give a definitive answer because of the parody,

(20:16):
because like, these team's good, this team beats this team,
Like it's more matchup driven than ever, and again, like
it's so easy for teams to bounce back and do
different things and play well. So it's it's I think
it's like kind of the golden age of football right now,
because defenses are playing better, offenses are playing better.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
I mean, think about who's not going to be in
the playoffs this year. The Chiefs are not gonna be
in the playoffs this year. Detroit is looking like they
might not be in the playoffs this year. Tampa's in
trouble to not make the playoffs. The Ravens are in
real trouble not make the playoffs. They're not bad. None
of them are bad football. None of them would you
qualify as bad football teams.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
No, No, not at all, not at all. I mean
Kassas City, like, that's a given. You got you you
have Patrick Mahomes as your quarterbacks. Yeah, he's good for
ten withs just by him self. And their defense typically historically,
they've always been one of the best, better defenses in
the league and for whatever reason, it just hasn't worked

(21:10):
out for them. And then they just lost some homes.
But even before he got injured, they were.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
On the custs the division.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
No, not at all. Baltimore is interesting to me just watching.
I mean Lamar got injured again, he's been banged up,
hasn't been fully healthy. Their defense, especially the past defense
we're talking about the Ravens. Then if you say, what's
the what's the blood, what's the in the DNA of
a raven It's always been their defense. I think ray

(21:38):
Lewis and all the all the dominant defense they had.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
Yeah, they they.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Imposed their will on you as a as a defense.
And then you look and you see what New England
was able to go in there and do, and it's like, man,
this this is the Baltimore Ravens we're talking about.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
I mean to the point of, like there's no bad
good look at New England one year to the next.
They changed their coach, their made it his second year.
They're gonna get the one seat now, like they went
from where they were picking a year ago.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
Got some Friday they had a Denver now because Denver lost. Yeah,
they both got the same record, but don't have.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
To see Yeah, okay, yeah, all right, let's get back
to our game. Let's get into the offense a little bit.
Chris Rodriguez, nice game again. Fifteen carries, sixty three yards,
four point two touchdown run late obviously for them, there's
been a lot about what he's gone through this year, right,
changed his body.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Yeah, it's like a proud dat over here smiling every
time someone.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
You love him? I love him.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
I love Chris because of just watching him, especially a
year ago, bounce back and forth between practice squad on
the roster, off the route back to practice squad, and
in the way like I would see Chris and he
was always the same guy, just always smile on his
face and just like man where he could he could

(22:57):
have easily been frustrated with that situation because I think
the year before, you know, he had he played a major.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Role as a as a running back.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
So to have his situation happened like that last year
and then this year he wasn't even active. I believe
in the first game it was he wasn't active in
the first game.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
I think I'll tell you he was disappointed by Yeah. Yeah,
into the preseason, yeah right.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Right, and in that game. Chris is produced every time
he's gotten opportunity. This year, you talked about getting his
body in a different condition, different shape. He ran with
so much powered other than I mean just the body lane,
not giving the the egles a target to hit the
fifteen kre I would have loved for him to be

(23:38):
able to get more. But the game flow kind of changes,
and then Bill Bill ran well is what in.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
That ball game as well?

Speaker 3 (23:44):
I think I think we would have loved for a
little bit more production out of the run game some
of the some of the things the Eagles did kind
of mess with our blocking skin.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Yeah, I mean, that's that's my thoughts. Like I think
the backs ran hard. I think obviously they missed cuts
here and there, but I think there was sometimes getting
that like that six' one, Front it just is a
little bit difficult to deal with in terms of, targets
especially if you don't used to seeing. It AND i
felt like there was a little bit of that going,
on just interesting decisions in terms of combinations and where we're,
going how we're targeting, stuff and especially with a guy

(24:13):
Like Jordan, davis as you talked. ABOUT i think both
of you guys talked about it on the show on the,
broadcast like he's such a problem and so like can, you,
like how can you work your combinations to ensure that
you're getting four hands on?

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Him, yeah you got to get them pause on and
got the pause to get pause on, him.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
And so like it.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Was it was kind of it's, funny like two weeks
in a, row it's been kind of WHAT i would
characterize is like messy in terms of targets and like
some technical. Execution BUT i think it's again a testament
to kind of the grittiness of that group that they're able,
to you, know fall forward for, four fight for an
extra two, here and have a relatively productive.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Day Bill Krofsky, merritt it only got eight. Carries i'm
personally not surprised that that was the. CASE i know
people saw the game he Had New york and Remember
chris didn't, play and that's a bad rush defense this.
Year and they saw that and they, go, well you,
know here's a guy who's. Explosive he's going to get
the ball. More AND i was watching That eagles defense
coming in and early in the season one of the

(25:07):
things that they wanted him to improve on was protection
and these blitzing linebackers Ni Kobe dean was running people
over And Nolan smith has become a very good either
outside edge or blitzing. Linebacker they've been really strong at
this so it didn't surprise me that the bulk of
the carries didn't go his. Way at the same, time
he ended up scoring and maybe had one of the
best runs of the, day the one early where it

(25:27):
was for eleven or twelve where he got through a.
Crease he actually made the touchdown a little harder than
it had to. Be there was a crease that was
wide over. Him but were nitpicking he scored, Anyway but for,
him what are you seeing for him now as he
kind of heads towards year.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Two JUST i think there was that stretch and during
a point of the season where he was having a fumbling,
issues AND i think he got so caught up in
not wanting to fumble the football to he wasn't running
natural using his natural instinks he, was and he also
was trying to make everything a home. Run he started
dancing a little bit as opposed to sometimes you just

(26:00):
got to take what's, there put your head down and
run through the back of.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Somebody it might even be running through the back of
your own.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Blocker but since, then especially the last couple of, weeks
he's run with more like, power more, certainty just, like,
HEY i see, This i'm gonna Get i'm gonna get.
Downhill you can see him gain him the, experience his,
vision his jump cut that's always been, there but just
his running between the. Tackles i've definitely been impressed with

(26:29):
him over the last couple of.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Weeks, yeah and it has to BE i think one
of the things that is so important for young backs
coming in the league to know and understand is that
you got to keep the offense on. Schedule LIKE i
Remember Bobby, turner like when he was. Here you, know Old,
bobby the running backs coach With. Kyle it was just, like, hey, man,
LIKE i don't. CARE i don't really care about home.
RUNS i care about getting on base with. Runs, right
if you run for, two run for, three that's better

(26:51):
than a negative one zero yard. Run AND i Think
chris does that really really. Well and AGAIN i Think
bill is learning how to do. That AND i think
you talk about you, know like And fletch just mentioned,
it like the.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Home run, element like wait for your.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Pitch it's so tempting to want to do that every,
time but you Gotta if the offense isn't on, schedule
you're in a lot of third. Longs like you really
as a back have a lot of control over that game.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Flow but, listen sometimes you might have to be on block.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Rolls there's a a song's supposed to go, outside but
that that thing parks like The RIA C i might
have to put my foot in the. Ground, YEAH i
see this, linebacker he's five yards. Out it's, mono way.
Mono i'm gonna get downhill and we're gonna have a
collision And i'm probably gonna get four or five yards
AND i might.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
That's an awesome run, Though yeah, Exactly, Yeah, YEAH i
think like early in Watching philly getting ready for the,
GAME i was asked by a lot of people In,
Philadelphia they, like what do you think is wrong with our?

Speaker 4 (27:44):
Offense which is a trap question for them to get
you to say something bad about the.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
Game but like for, me and maybe you agree or,
DISAGREE i actually think it's their inability to run the
ball well on the early downs where they actually become
like everybody.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Else that to me is the.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Difference AND i don't know if that's they're not disguising
where the ball is, going Because i'm Seeing saquon get
blown up over and. Over it actually happened in our
game as, well a little bit more than you would have, expected,
like and that's their problem to deal.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
With but that's what sticks out to.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Me so to your point about you got to take
what you get to keep yourself running on, Time philadelphia
is like everybody else when they don't run the ball
well on the early downs.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
Too it's one million.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Percent AND i think if you look at the biggest
difference between last year and this, year it's like his
explosive run. Percentage and you mentioned this on the broadcast
yards before, contact, right AND i think they have they
have do you have a new offensive. Coordinator like even,
man we talked about run targets. HERE i talk about
it to you quite a, bit you, Know texan and,
stuff like they target runs And i'm, like why would
you target it this?

Speaker 5 (28:38):
Way you know What i'm.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Saying and, again like you can tell they're still feeling
out new, combinations new points and emphasis for the. Offense
and again there's probably a lot of. Carryover you can
tell there's different. Priorities like last year they were this
kind of, like, hey we're going to be like a
tight zone counter. Team we're going to run like bounce the.
Perimeter and now it's a lot more duo really tight
zone you know WHAT i, mean downhill runs and you
could tell that the tight, ends the, tackles they're not

(29:02):
used to that, distribution and it's really negatively impacted the
offense to your, point and they're good enough to survive
it because they're one of the most talented teams in.
Football but, yeah to, me that's like got to be
like high in the list in terms of the biggest
difference from last year to this.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
Year, yeah the the offensive, line they've had some health
issues as, Well but ALSO i don't think they're blocking
their playing as well as they were a season. Ago
either so whether it's a new offensive coordinator or, NOT
i mean sometimes they're just not winning their individual, matchups
not consistently enough like they used.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
To and that's been a big.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Difference you see like and like good Football, dickerson like
you see it with good football.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Players, YEAH i wonder if we've we've all of a
sudden given them some. Confidence with Say kwan the last
he'said rush fol four hundred yards two out of the
last three.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
Weeks, yeah he only has three hundred plus yard rush
days on the, season but two of them have come,
recently so they're coming. Around and that is Without Lane.
Johnson he's missed like well over a month of the foot.
Injury so we'll. See we'll see them in a. Week
let me get back to our team for a. MOMENT
a couple guys all just want to point out to
you and see where you think they. Are Jacob martin
came in here. Veteran every week he's given them a
play That logan's. Boy, yeah he forced to fumble this past.

(30:11):
Week Unfortunately hurts was able to get it, back but
he forced to fumble this, week and he just seems
to be bringing a lot of energy to the edge for.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Them so what have you seen from?

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Him, YEAH i MEAN i, think, like so obviously he
has a good pass rush field pass rush. NUANCE i
think the thing that sticks out. Most and IF i, was,
like you, KNOW i coach high school, FOOTBALL i go
has a go Watch Jacob. Martin it's not because the
pass rush. Nuance it's because he plays. Hard he's, Conditioned
he plays every down like it's his, last and he
and he makes plays because of. It, right he's in,

(30:42):
pursuit he's chasing the quarterback, down he brings a bull
rush and he like there's something about, like if, hey
we got forty snaps in the, Game i'm.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
Giving you EVERYTHING i got in all, Forty like you're
gonna make.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Plays and so that's that's the thing that gets me
juiced About Jacob martin is, like is he the most
is he is He Miles garrett talent?

Speaker 5 (30:58):
Wise?

Speaker 2 (30:58):
No but who is like he just he has made
a niche for himself in the league because he plays
hard and he gets me fired up physical.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Too he set he sett hard.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Edges that was A i noticed that even early in
the season when before he started kind of turning the
corner as a pass. Rusher he was setting hard edges
as outside as, defender which is big when you talk
about stopping a. Rum he has a couple of he
has a variety of passes rus moves.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Too he's he's, nuanced like he's, like he's, talented, Right
he's got a great cross.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
Shop he's got great, power good long.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Arm you'd said the story about when y'all were in the.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
Dude, yeah SO i.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
WAS i was In. HOUSTON i was just got cut From.
Atlanta i'm in the bus with this. GUY i never
met him before HERE i Am jacob and he literally
from the. Airport we had to sit and wait for
somebody else from the airport to the. Facility he talked
to me about. PASTOR i played tight end talking about
pass rush forty five.

Speaker 5 (31:49):
Minutes yeah you know WHAT i. Mean, like, so, dude
dude gets fired up about it the whole.

Speaker 4 (31:54):
Time are you holding like your earbuds like?

Speaker 2 (31:55):
WEED i was, like, oh, yeah you, know it's like
WHEN i went in the bust with you and question to.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
Look at his, all like, man can my wife called, me.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
But but you love that kind of, passion like a
guy that's motivated by his craft and like you see
it and how he plays so like, that those are
the types of guys get me super like like emotional about,
football Like Bobby wagoner playing hard when like really nothing's
on the line for. Him And Jacob, martina guy who's
found a role for himself because he just does.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
Things bobby was outstanding in that. GAME i think he's been.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
Good Since, miami to be quite honest with, you like.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
He's, uh he's played extremely.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Well And i'd say it's fresh legs because lately he's
only been practicing maybe once a, week and he's on that.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Old you know.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
PLANET i used to used to practice that and before,
MAN i was, like, MAN i don't want to ever
miss a. PRACTICE i want to take every repin. Practice
THEN I i was injured one week AND i couldn't.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
PRACTICE i, Went i'm.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Not, Bald And you're, like all, right WHAT i might
be on to? SOMETHING i remember you doing walk through
is with the walking.

Speaker 4 (32:54):
Boot, yeah like you know WHAT i.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Mean So Bobby's bobby's discovered, that you know, what once
a week PRACTICE i can go out and play extremely
well because you, know these legs, man you only have
so many snaps on them.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
All, Right one other PLAYER i want to get to
AND i want to ask you About Traylon burks had
a couple of nice. Catches one of them got reversed
by a.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Hole let me go back To berks for a.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Minute, yes, Okay so he's catching passes from who knows
what quarterback every single. Week he came in here mid,
season he was coming off. Injuries new you, know new,
environment new. Everything what have you seen From? Ember what
can you learn about him as they think about him
as being part of the receiving core potentially into the.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
FUTURE i, MEAN i THINK i think if you see
a guy who's got a great catch radius in good,
hands he's competitive at the catch. POINT i think you
see some some stuff technically as a route, runner in
terms of, breaks decelerations that.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Are that can be improved.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Upon he's a big guy, Though BUT i THINK i
think you can call plays to fit his skill, set,
Right and you, know maybe he's not your you, know
Like peregar's on great comeback, runner, right, Uh Deshaun jackson
not so much, right a little bit. Loose so like
let's call stuff that he's good at and the other
thing that gets me super fired up about him is
like when he's inserting in the run, game like he's
trying to block. People SO i feel like THE i

(34:07):
feel the passion for the game that's. Coming AND i
also see a tremendous skill. Set LIKE i see his
skill set, again it's maybe not the most refined and
nu once like the same way That terry is or
some of those, guys BUT i think there's there's definitely something.
There and then with the right, coach right, situation right,
utilization could be pretty.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
DYNAMIC i, say first thing that jumps out is his.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Size big until about six to, TWO i don't know
what what he is white, wise he got long, arms long, arms,
athletic he can he can, jump He's we had him
on a on The Players club and then you AND
i interviewed him after one of the, game after the
game where he made that correct catch and he's, LIKE
i make plays like.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
That all the time and.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
Practice so it wasn't he wasn't being he was just
saying LIKE i do this all the, time like making
one headed catches or acrobatic. Catches so so the size to,
athleticism the ability to grow across the middle and the
the past they got called back because of the factom
hole man that was a phenomenal catch.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
Between, defenders no.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Fear so those are the things THAT i like about,
him AND i think he's in a great room with
the starting off With Bobby, ingram the wide receiver. Coach
he talked about he'd shared with us How bobby is
just always so positive for, him to him and to
all the, guys it's, like.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Hey if they didn't run the route.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Correctly instead of you, know getting on, him he's, like,
hey all, right, man you, know don't worry About let's
hey the next, time let's move. On all, Right we're
gonna get it right the next. Time and just that
confidence and then be in that room With debo And
terry and and some of the other. Guys he's definitely
benefited from being.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
Here all.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Right as we close, today let's Unusual dallas. Week it's
A Christmas day game. Here records are what they. Are
team is very. Injured Sam cosmey unfortunately went on ir,
Today so another shift on the offensive line will have
to see With Laramie, Tunzel Brandon coleman got hurt in the.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
Games we'll have to.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
See with him as, Well so there's going to be
a lot of moving parts there upfront. End, obviously we
don't know About Marcus. Mariota the team Signed Jeff, driscoll
who was with the team a year, ago to the active.
Rosters he's probably the primary backup To Josh johnson If
marcus can't.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
Go so let's do a forget. Review let's do a preview.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
Here, okay if you're on offense And mariot is not,
playing which we don't know is the, case how are
you thinking, about you, know whoever the quarterback is with
a very different offensive line and trying to manufacture something
this week against The.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Cowboys, YEAH i think it's about for, me like when
you kind of like start taking pieces off the, Board
it's about what is the quarterback the most comfortable with
from a past game. Standpoint so that's going to move
to the top of the, list, Right and then we're
really going to take a deep dive on the run, game, right,
like how do we optimize the guys that are in
the backs that we, have how do we make sure
we have good angles in the blocking surface because that's

(36:54):
got to be hyper. Efficient and THEN i say this every,
week but like, what like where do you manufacture your
losted plays? From like is it trick?

Speaker 5 (37:01):
Plays double?

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Passes if if you're trying to put like put points
on the, board like this is the game where you
really got to kind of dig to the bottom of
the barrel there and say this is what we got to.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
Do i'd say one thing, though that's to our advantage
as an, offense Assuming marioda is not able to. Play
first of, all they won't know who are starting quarterback
is Until.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
Thursday until Until by the, way it's.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Hard it's, difficult especially in a situation like when when
From jane and And marcus not so not as difficult
because you're a similar. Offense you're gonna you're gonna run
the same. Offense you, know basically you might run a
little bit more of certain concepts with with one guy
as opposed to. Another so that's not as. Difficult As Josh.

(37:48):
Johnson you really haven't seen him in this offense at,
all so what is the offense going to look like with?
Him and then With Jeff. Drisco you you have to
go back to preseason to watch him in this, offense
so you don't, Know, hey what what are the stress
of weaknesses of these two quarterbacks in this? Offense and
you won't find that out until game. Days so that's

(38:10):
so as a defense now we're just trying To we
don't know how to kind of develop our game. Plan
what are we going to major in from a defense? Standpoint,
yeah we weren't major in stopping a. Run but are
we gonna blitt this? Quarterback are we going to play
a little bit more? Coverage does he have the arm
to go deep against?

Speaker 4 (38:28):
Us is he a?

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Quarterback is gonna take? Shots will he? Scramble all those
types of things we're here.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
With you were here when we Played minnesota and the
starting quarterback went, Out Adrian peterson went, out and they
put like web in and Then Toby gerhart and we
were up by two. Scores, like is that part of
the difficulty is like you just, stylistically it's.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
Different i've lost different.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Pitch i've been on a defense where we've had more
than our fair share of kind of losses when a
backup quarterback has come in because for one reason or,
another we may take our foot off the. Gas like perfect,
example we're playing The Pittsburgh Stillers monday, night. Football we
came out of that all Burgundy. BROWN i know you remember.
This two thousand and, eight we Knocked roethlisberger out of the.

(39:11):
GAME i, mean we come Out you're talking about starting
the game off on. FIRE i think we had a
couple of takeaways early in the. Game just like, man
this place was Electric monday night. Football roethlisberger gets, injured
doesn't come back in the. Game Byron, left which comes
In fredd, smooth, smooth being.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
Smooth oh, man they got left with your, here we're
about to. Eat we're about.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
To Eat Man, left which came in there with that,
long slow. Delivery he got to lighten us up and
he was light freed up, mainly and we lost that ball. Game,
now it helped That pittsburgh had the most probably one
of the most legendary defenses in the history out of
THE nfl that. Season but from a defensive, standpoint we're

(39:57):
pretty darn good defensively as.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Well that.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Season you finished number four in the league and the
backup quarterback came in there and lit us.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
Up all, right let me ask you on the defensive
side of the.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
Ball so last time they Played, dallas big explosive plays of.
Courage George pickings had a couple down the. Sideline there
was a miscommunication on the back. End ceedee lamb at
a very long explosive. Touchdown so how are you, thinking
how do you think they're thinking about? This this is
this is when they were healthier on the back. End
how are you thinking about trying to Limit dallas's?

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Offense, well we're better on the back end, now we're
more connected than we.

Speaker 5 (40:31):
Were can you elaborate on?

Speaker 2 (40:32):
That?

Speaker 4 (40:34):
YEAH i was going to.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
Labor you're just gonna be, like, hey we're more connected than.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
This, no, no, NO i was going to.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
Elaborate, Yeah so back then we were trying to a
bunch of different.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
Things there wasn't great.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Discipline we weren't connected in disguises and knowing your depths and.
Communication we didn't Have Will, Harris so having, him, yeah
Having Will harris as a communicator back, there we stand
situations we're calling let's, say probably from a defensive. Standpoint

(41:05):
D q has really, said we're not going to give
up the, Explosives so we may play a little bit
more off may play a little bit more zone, coverage
put a little bit more traditional. Structure we don't Do
we still do our inverted, too but we're just doing
it in a different. Manner that one that that we
gave up the BIG CD lamb play on that was
an inverted, too and we didn't play it the way

(41:27):
it was supposed to be, played and that's HOW i
ended up being so wide. Open so we're we're a
better secondary than we were back. Then AND i think
they're just the emphasis and the intention of detail has
wrapped up over the last several.

Speaker 4 (41:41):
Weeks so that's that's the big.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
THING i DON'T i don't see Not they may still
have some yards in the passing. Game they got some
hell of hell of a football players and hell of,
receivers BUT i don't expect it to be the big
explosives like we, did like we had in that like
they had in that.

Speaker 5 (41:57):
Game, YEAH i, MEAN i totally.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
AGREE i think like when you just look at Since,
miami really like they've done a really good job of,
communicating getting things uh spaced appropriately in the back. End
AND i, think, Again i'm very confident in that. GROUP
i know they've.

Speaker 5 (42:11):
Improved it's Just Dak Prescott's, yeah you.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
Was, different he'd be up FOR.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
Mvp it would help man to be able to get
a consistent rush on a quarterback and made it to.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
Kind of what we're the hand we've been. Dealt.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Now vin has shown, flashes he's been able to get some,
sacks and we Have Jacob martin Then Draca. Jackson he
did some things that you can be proud of and
kind of, Like, okay maybe there's something, there but we
have to be able to get. Pressure hopefully you can
get it with a four man rush so you can
have you, know seven guys back in.

Speaker 4 (42:49):
Coverage you, know we Mentioned bobby.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
Earlier If von does get one more, sack he ends
up in the top ten all time after this season as.
Well so he just needs one more in the last
couple of.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Games all.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
Right last, Thing i've always wanted to ask this, because
like we've we've had a million holiday games Against. Dallas
ninety nine percent of them are down there For, thanksgiving you,
know put aside the everyone is missing out on family
stuff when you have to play in situations like, this
but they are. Special SO i wonder how you remember
Playing dallas on a day like What thursday is going

(43:18):
to be where there's this big, holiday everybody's paying, Attention
like what do you what do you? Remember what do
you think about when you think About Washington dallas on a?

Speaker 3 (43:25):
Holiday, MAN i JUST i just know everybody's. Watching it's.
It that's that's the. Thing and WHEN i say everybody's,
watching it's just LIKE i want to put on put
on a great performance to help my.

Speaker 4 (43:38):
Team win a football.

Speaker 3 (43:39):
Game like the whole's gonna be one game being played
at one o'clock On. Thursday they're gonna be watching, us
and you want to you want to play for, yourself
play for your. Team you, got you, know your your
friends and family members who may not necessarily always be
able to see you, play they're gonna be tuning in
watching you.

Speaker 4 (43:57):
Play so you want to Represent.

Speaker 5 (43:59):
YEAH i don't know IF i don't know if you
felt this way.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
PLAY i got like football calendar, mode where like it
didn't really feel Like, christmas it didn't really feel Like,
thanksgiving just because you're you're you're like so locked into the.
Schedule NOW i agree With, fletch like you are a
primetime game all of a, sudden and, like SO i
remember twenty twelve playing down In, Dallas like that's one
of those things that just kind of pops immediately in
the memory bank because it's a big. Moment but, again
like it's it's a great opportunity right play some football

(44:24):
and again nation's watching someone as.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
Well make, Think And i'm sure there will probably be
some type of as you're coming into the stadium the,
fan you'll see some product people dressed up Like, saturday
having the stocking caps, on all that type of. Stuff
so they'll be elements that, show hey, man this is
a different type of game to where you, know it's
not your normal regular season, Game Sunday sunday.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Football whatever that. Is, uh It's.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
Christmas And i'm sure they probably may even be some
stretches or some performances within the stadium to kind of
bring out That christmas.

Speaker 5 (44:56):
Spirit you're gonna dress up for the, BROADCAST i Might.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
Santa, fletch you. Might i'll introduced you to several iterations of.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Me there's a lot of kids that are gonna be opening
presents that morning around the. WORLD a lot of them
will be football. Related some will have, burgundy some will have,
blue and some of those kids might cry at four
o'clock On Christmas. Day so let's hope it's the ones
where the bluest stars on.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
A.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
Poet, yeah the bar's like my entire. Life on the
rare occasion it's gone the right, Way but many times
that team has ruined My. Thanksgiving SO i don't mind
ruining Their. Christmas even when you're little is worse when you're.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Little the football teams, though, yeah Damn brown even So,
COWBOYS i guess they Were.

Speaker 4 (45:44):
You can't lose to, them but it just makes the
turkey taste.

Speaker 3 (45:47):

LIKE i felt, like, hey someone The washington, team they
weren't able To.

Speaker 4 (45:54):
They, did but the record down there is not. Great
okay not.

Speaker 1 (45:58):

Kid he was a big baseball fan. Too his heart
was broken when The senators moved away FROM.

Speaker 5 (46:35):

Speaker 3 (46:35):
Senators Ottawa, senators BECAUSE i THOUGHT i Thought Washington senators
could have been in play when we uh.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
With the, Possibility, yeah that was. POSSIBILITY i guess they
just did wrong show to talk about, it BECAUSE i
don't know how they ended up with.
