I mean, listen confirming any story that happened in Spain.
What goes on in Spain stays in Spain.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I totally understand this, but I got this tics This
said Shine has traveled four thousand miles and slip and
field in Spain.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Tell me how did you end up on the ground
in Spain?

Speaker 6 (01:36):
That is true, and I'm having narrow I'm have to
narrow it down to only a few people, telling Anna,
our producer, that I know it was Anna because you
and Anna super tight.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It was.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
It was a slippery grate that.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
I crossed, it was raining and next thing you know,
I end up on my back.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Man, And what I would have did to beat up dude.

Speaker 6 (02:00):
I'm telling you why you gotta pop up fast because
London was reaching in his fat pocket. You're trying to
get trying to get the phone out of take a
picture and start laughing at me.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
So I had to get up quick before.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Santanna got sant Tanna got an image.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Somebody told me they go.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
The crazy thing was as Sean is falling, Tanna anticipated
was already reaching for his phone.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I'm like, how in the world quick.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
And Santana's upset because they got him bad sleeping on
the couch out there.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
No, no, I got I got the pictures of Tanner
sleeping on the couch. That's normal, Tanna, one of them
people almost knock eleftic. He would just pass out on
you no matter where you are. That's that's normal. But you,
I know, you a stand up guy for so you
the follow like that. Oh, they would have did me
so much goodness and greatness.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
And if I could have been hurt, seriously, you wouldn't care.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, yeah, like if you'd have came back on crutches,
they would have did me.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Well, we missed you over there, and it was crazy
from the jump and we got First of all, we
got to.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
The rental car place, Sean.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
It took us for ever to get there, and then
they said, hey, when you're filling up the car, there's
two types of things you need to put in it.
We're like, what are you talking about? They're like, don't
let it run out of ad Blue.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
They're like, what blue?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I sort of got a.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
D, just not a D d Ad Blue were like,
what is that?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Like?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
If it gets to zero, your car is not going
to start. And all of us were looking around like
what does this mean? And sure enough the renal guy
came over and he adjusted something on like the dashboard
so you could see how much ad blue you had.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
It was crazy blue additive to the gas.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yeah, some sort of additive and I don't know, nobody
knew what it was, but they were like, do not
let that get disease.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
There for like pollutants or something like what is the purpose?

Speaker 6 (03:40):
You know that they are very conscious around pollution and
nex stuff that's coming from cars. So as you noticed,
there were no huge sev's over there with a few
bands and stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
They're all about putting in some type of additive to
reduce pollution.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Man, oh man, that's my type of place.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
You It was cool.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
It was your type of place. Although you're French, it
was your type of place.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Hey listen, man, you know I'm all about the environment. Now,
I'm a stiffling for environment. I recycle, I do it all.
I do my part to try to keep this thing clean.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I can't tell you how many times I would try
to communicate and I would say something in French and
I catch.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Myself and they would just look at me.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Like why why did you speak French.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
I know, but I took French in college for a
couple of years and so I always like, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
Get off right now to me.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I know, you know what I'm saying. The thing is,
why did you land on Spanish song?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I would try and then I catch something and I'm like, Michael,
like you're in Spain.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Stop more.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
They'll give me a look. They shake their head, like
where do you think, y'all guys?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Give me this?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
This restaurant each of y'all went to while y'all was
in Spain.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
This restaurant that dish, that's dish. This restaurant I seafood
Peah in Barcelona. I was on the on the water
in Barcelona, has a great seafood. I jumped up in
Barcelona State and it was really nice, you know, on
the water overlooking.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
That was one of them.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
And the rooftop at Four Seasons was a close second.
I was at Four Seasons hanging out at the bar.
You know, saw Magic gave had to put a pinky.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Oh god, you hang out, not at the Four Seasons
at the hotel right here.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Listen to me. So he left Madrid and said, you
know what, I'm going to barstool, took a Yeah, yeah,
you took a date.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I'm like, we're shot.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
He went to Barcelona, Barcelona maybe, Oh my god, what
was crazy?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
We could have used you.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
During the Flamenco dancing video.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I seen the guys up on stage be Mitch looked uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Santana looked like I don't want to be here. Uh. London,
for some reason, he got the Spain and take on.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Loved it.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
He loved it, like, what did y'all that happened?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
He was when we were done, Sean, you got to
back me on this. We were done, London wanted to
try again to make sure we were all on point.
And now the final dance, Oh yeah, he went for Brown.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
He's you know, London took on that persona international fletch man.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
That boy.

Speaker 6 (06:29):
That boy was when when you call him international flesh.
He was doing the most man. He had a little
shoulder shimmy with it. He was pinky drinking. We got
all type of martinis he was drinking. Got a pictures man.
London was just showing.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
I know, no, I got a lot of London pictures back.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
That's why I started to like just color him out
and stuff like that I was just tired of seeing
London dancing and jumping and having fun his big back
just all over Spain.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Just representing us all over London was like mister commander himself.
Man he was.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
And then when I'm watching the game, they got the
nerve to show him on national TV now this international TV. Yeah,
talking to Roger for a minute, and I'm like, man,
they can't be giving him this type of love.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Do we have videos Niko dancing? All right, we gotta
run this video. Check this out. This is us Flamenco dancing.
And I'm telling you we were wearing those things in
the back, those shawls whatever they're called, but went up there.
Oh here we go.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Check this out. We're gonna learn a little bit about
technique inside, how we practiced.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
The guitar to see and dancing. And she'd say, at.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
About I need my quick feet over there, feet two.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Forget it.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
Oh look at these loves, Loo, get these.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Older in the pigeon. I don't know, to the world, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
There he is against the good Look at look at London.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
London was enjoying himself.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
You know what, It's good to see y'all boy, and
still enjoying y'allself at the ten day age of sixty.
It's a good thing man, to see y'all guy doing that.
The Lovely Cat was there.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I walk off the stage and she looks at me
and she goes, you're coordinated. I was like what.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
She didn't know, y'all you were coordinate.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
She was just like, you're coordinated.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
I was like, you're from the.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
South, jam crazy, You're from the South. You don't need
a land alone dancer too. A few times this is
whats like, you're from Texas, Like you've been there and
you've done that. When it comes to musical day, Yeah,
when it comes to like everybody, let's do the same thing,
because that's a big thing.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
You don't have South No, no, no, that's what we do.
So that doesn't shock me.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
But Logan.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Logan was like all right, looking like, you know, I'm
not supposed to be here.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
He was ready to go lift.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
He was like, you know, anybody got a gym or something?
Do y'all got gyms?

Speaker 6 (09:56):
This fan Logan might have walked back. Logan was like,
I meet you all there. Logan walked three hundred miles
while he was in Spain. Man walked everywhere.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Uh no, no, that doesn't shock me. He one of
those guys. He wanted to put a little elbow grease
in there. It's good, y'all guys took on Spain the
way y'all did. Y'all left a stain on Spain that
they'll never wipe off.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
I enjoyed it.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah, well we missed you, man, that's for sure. And
did you have a favorite story. I mean, you were
definitely doing your own thing, my mic on.

Speaker 8 (10:23):
I think so, uh okay, I think my favorite story
was when this is like right before Sean fell.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
But basically.

Speaker 8 (10:34):
It was you no, no, well, okay, no, sometimes you
got to stir the pot as a producer, but it
was we were Tannel went into the McDonald's. He wanted
to try the McDonald's in Spain. And we're waiting there
and as a group, we're like standing outside the McDonald's
with our equipment, and all of a sudden, there's this
loud commotion like maybe like five five ten feet away.

(10:55):
This guy comes over and flashes the people standing next
to us at the nuts stand funny enough, yeah yeah,
and then five minutes yeah appropriate, and he and then
he runs off, comes back slaps the guy in the
face who he flashed, and then he ran off again

(11:15):
and the police came over.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
It was a whole commotion. That was my favorite time.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
A Spanish hooligan.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
I had not I thought we was gonna have to
take him down.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
When somebody told me that story, they go the crazy
thing is Anna called it. She looked at guy and
she goes, yeah, this guy's gonna flash us.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
He's a giant. He had a giant was a cute.

Speaker 8 (11:40):
I'm a woman, I know, I know when something. He
had a trench whow And I was like, guys.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Like, this is why is the trench coat the diabolical wardrobe?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Probably because you can open and close it so quick.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
No, No, it's just something about it.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
Even when I'm walking out.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Just normal in DC and I see somebody go be like, oh,
we need to watch it. Why the trench coat, Like
the trench coat has got.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
This this I don't know. We just smile.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
And you can't wear a trench coat just to wear
a trench coat.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Yeah, that trench coat you are feeling, that's the clothes flash.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
It's like so y'all went four thousand my house again,
flashed my feeling.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Speedy gun times that what happened crazy. That's why we
take trips. You can't make this up. You can't make
this up. This is why we take trips. Right here,
I'm just so glad y'all can't blame fred.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
I will say the number of people like, where's smooth,
where's smooth? And then they go, you can't bring smooth
like immediately is their second reaction?

Speaker 5 (12:47):
It was, we're smith.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Oh yeah, you can't bring in.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
Fred on French smood on foreign saw is a different creature.
All right, I believe that.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I listen, y'all didn't want none of fred Rigot, fred Rico.
Y'all didn't want Frederico over there. I'd have been over
that bull fighting and everything. I know how to take
the culture in, all right. I'm one of those guys
in Spianol. I get to speaking, I get to going out. Well,
it was an awesome time. Next time around, make you

(13:16):
come on with us, all right?

Speaker 4 (13:17):
Next time?

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Well, Blue was not the only person who made the trip.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Yeah, we had a receiver on.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Y'all still had our man Santanama's tennis here. Now, Tanne,
what's your favorite part of the trip. We all walked
away with a lot of stories.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
Man. My favorite part probably was not seeing but seeing
Blue take a spill. And we kind of ain't want to,
you know, blasting too much. We know Blue can get
in their feelings. But boy, look a here, I snapped
a couple of pictures just so I can show friends,
so I show friends today when I work, I.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Just talked to Blue about him taking the spell, and
only Blue could try to shrug it off.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
How did you get in your pocket quick to get
your phone out?

Speaker 5 (14:02):
So I was already recording, like, you know, cause you
know that's like something that I don't do. I don't
never chooishes and stuff when I'm away. Yeah, so I
was already he was walking so far to get back
to the car. I said, let me start taking picture
of you know, other streets and just you know how
different it is. And when I heard the bang, I
just turned around and it started snapping, and I had

(14:27):
to ask, wasn't he okay? First? And then when he
said he was good, that's not want to snap him.
But man, look here, man, I heard it and I
just saw him laying down, and you know that's not
like Blue Blue. I don't think I've ever seen Blue
in a compromising position ever in his life, because he
always find a way to get out of stuff. But
that was the one time I could see him in
a situation where I don't think he even knew what

(14:47):
had had transpired.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Listen, it just reminds me of that time Mike Allstock
ran and mold he, I gotta ask you to do this.
Look on the this stadium, look exactly, Tim, Take us
to that stadium. How was that stadium? First football ever
played in the soccer stadium in Spain? In Real Madrid?

(15:12):
How was that stadium town? To compare it to football
stadiums here in America.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
I mean one, it was huge. So, I mean you
can just see why those soccer games looked like they
look when we watching them from Afar, because it's just
like it's it's so many seats in that thing, and
when you see how they did it, it's like everybody's
sitting on top of each other. It's like if you
was up in the press box area where we was at,
you understand a little different. It almost looked like you're

(15:37):
sitting on top of the roll underneath you and you
can just fall right over. Like it was huge, man,
But it was a nice setup.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Man.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
I didn't think we was gonna pack it, you know,
pack the house. And when I heard it was like
seventy nine or seven people there. Man.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
That was that was that was crazy, man.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
But they treated us well man, great hospitality man. And
I kind of say the Dolphin fans did. Probably we
didn't think the Dolphins fans was going to kind of,
you know, outdo us when it came to our fans.
But until we got into the stadium, I saw so
many Dolphin fans sitting in those seats. But I think
as a whole man, both both fan base came and
showed out.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
You know what blew my mind about the stadium is
that the stadium goes back to nineteen forty four, but
like two years ago that did a one point six
billion dollar renovations, so it looks brand new. But the grass, yeah,
so that turf, there's an underground greenhouse. Those underground they
automatic mowers that mow it and then treated with water

(16:37):
whatever it needs.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
People, and then they lifted back up that surface. Was unbelievable, No,
unbelievable because they played soccer almost year round, right right, Yeah,
So it just it's one of the best stadiums of
all time.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
That's why I had it like take.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
And going forward, the NFL has already said that they
want to make all the new stadiums similar to that
when it comes to protecting the grass, that they want
to be able to build it where it can kind
of you do the same thing that their stadium does
when it comes to taking care of their field. So
I guess you can say we might have a little
bit of that in our stadium. Who knows, but I
believe we're one of the next teams up when it
comes to, you know, building a new stadium. So I'm

(17:12):
pretty sure how guys are taking notes.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Yeah, I feel to say that's real because the way
we was trending, everybody fin the head to turf because
nobody wants to make this int the grass. So hopefully
that trip over there kind of same football when it
comes to like are we gonna play on grass again?
And I will say this, I didn't know what to expect, Tanner.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
I don't know what you expected because you go overseason.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Of course it's about football, about soccer. But they stepped up.
They were really excited about the NFL.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Legitimately, Yeah, it could keep up with the game, and
I know that that was the big part, you.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Know, what wowed me the most. And I have to
mention it because, like, you know, I'm one of those guys. Man,
I'm not really floored that much about things that happened
or things that I find out, but to be talking
to a couple of reporters, young reporters over there and
to hear how knowledgeable they was of me and my
younger brother Sonarios, and I'm like, this guy wanted to

(18:04):
talk to me and he just went to talk about
how he had my jersey when he was six, and
I'm like, you have my jersey over here and he
was like, yeah, we're big fans of you. And then
later on that evening, I bumped into a guy he
telling me how big I am in Europe and I'm like,
you know, it's crazy because I forgot the Europe channel
is similar to ESPN. I've done a couple of you

(18:25):
know shows during the season, and I remember them telling
me that I'm a popular name in you on their
their sports channel. So that kind of floored me to
hear people tell me that in person, Like you know,
you hear someone you like, all right, he probably just
said it, but bumping into the young guy he was
about twenty three years old, said he had my jersey
since he was six. And then the older guy, gentleman

(18:47):
who told me how popular my name was over there.
You know that kind of was neat for me just
knowing that.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Man.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
You know, you think that that that europe based fan
base is mostly into soccer. They're tuned in with our man,
they tuned in with what we do over here, and
I think that's why it's something for us to have
those international games now, man, And who knows you may
have a team over them one day, not saying you know,
primarily in Spain, but just no.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
No, you're right now.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
I gotta ask you this, the taste tester of the world,
How does how does Spain McDonald's add up to American McDonald's.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Does the fries taste the same? What burger did you get?
And tell me does it?

Speaker 5 (19:27):
Does it? Metch up? I'm glad you asked this. Spain
McDonald's was like eating that Eddie h Yes, Spain McDonald's
like eating an Eddie Bee's over a regular steakhouse like
it was. Man, I can't even say really really what
was different? Was it? Fresher. What what's natural? What? What? What?

Speaker 4 (19:49):
What made it so top of the line, mcadee.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
Real meat, real beef, the beef. You can tell that
that thing was like angers or something. It was. It
wasn't that three days ago.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Man.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
Look here, when I say fresh.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Cheese, it was cooked. It was cooked.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
How when we was young going to McDonald's, how the
fool just tasted fresh and warm and it wasn't like
it wasn't sitting around you know. Now over here we
don't even tell. We don't even care about fast food,
like especially those fast food chains that's been around for
so long. You can go to one of those these
up and coming, you know, burger spots and get a
better burger, you know what I mean, a real burger.

(20:26):
So I will say over there that burger, that meat
tasted different, way different than our McDonald's here. And then
I doubled down and went and tried another burger. I
tried it at a different spot at all five guys,
and they floored me. I'm like, oh man, you know what,
it's just different over here. They're fast food may a
little bit maybe a little more authentic than ours when
it comes to just natural, real meat, and five.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Guys being a D M V. Burger place and they
got a five guys in Spain.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, we saw a few of them. That's that's unbelievable
that they had a big bag of fries and the peanuts.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
In the question.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
They had everything that we have and the fries was
good too. The fries was nice.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Heart.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
They didn't have too much salt on a lot of
this stuff either, Like you didn't you didn't go there,
And I mean like if you want a season and
they wanted't have been a season, it up for you
know that much for there. No, they didn't let you
do it. They just ain't putting much. They didn't put
much on there for you to even be, you know,
complain about it. You like the taste, but it wasn't
going to be overwhelmed with salt or seasoning, you know

(21:25):
what I'm saying. But it was just bro It was good.
And then we had we did go to lunch to
the steakhouse. I think it was Saw Saw Jea or
something like that. Be miss might know the name, sorry,
something like that. But the steak was great. I had
a I think I had forgot what it was, Sir Line.

(21:46):
I think it was something surtline and it was good.
We all had the same steak and it was fresh.
It was good. So I didn't just eat burgers. I
just felt like at the particular time of when I
was trying to eat, you know, we ripping and running
all day and I got so much to do. I'm
not trying to look for something, you know, I'm I'm
like the first first thing I see I wanted, and
it was the Burgler's joints that was going to do

(22:06):
it for me. Because, like I said, at the end
of the day, I'm just trying to be satisfied. I
want to mill it. I can say, Okay, I'm full,
now I can go rest and do it. That's what
I want to do.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
This that's so funny because they told me you went
into the McDonald's, and after you went into McDonald's, everybody
got flashed by ll.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Protected. As soon as I leave, something crazy happenings. So
I was blessed enough not to have to see that.
But I came out of everybody was just laughing. Man.
Everybody was trying to know something about the old man
who got slapped. But you know, unfortunately he picked on
the old guy guy who had a king, So I
hope they caught that guy, but they were just trading
to hear that. That all went down when I was.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
And the fans traveled too, That's what because you never know, right,
because you're going overseas and we had the watch party
on was it Friday Ana the Irish.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Rover in Madrid.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
The line around the block like.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
That, two thousand people.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Two thousand people was in there. They say, wow, this.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
This I gonna believe.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
But from all the pictures I saw America travel not
yet the d and me the Miami fans. It was
just a ton of fans over there, and to me
that made it feel more like a field trip than
a business trip, right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
And no, it was great, man, it was great seeing
both fan bases. I had a fan tell me that
I look better than Turk course, and I'm like, man,
i never woked Dolphin, cause what are you talking about.
I'm just some Miami.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
They know you grew up.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
I say, man, we grew we got I'm orange and green, man,
that's not no damn turk coise.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
But that was funny, man.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
It was funny just dealing with those fans because so
the same spot that Jean's talking about Iris Rover. I
had the tailgate party there hours before the game, and
they showed up at that party too. It was both
fans basis and it was a nice event, you know
that I did right before the game started. So man,
like I say, as a whole man like overall, I

(23:58):
enjoyed myself. It was a rake trip for us, or
we trying to got on you a little bit.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
We kind of you know, no y'all, y'all, y'all kept
ripping me anew what I told him, But you know what,
you know what's.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
So crazy though, friend, And I'm I'm pretty sure you
know this.

Speaker 8 (24:11):
Man.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
I'm telling you this because I think we've had these
talks before. Bro, people love you. When I heard more
where it's fred at than any thing else when I
was out, you know, touring and going to other places,
they asked him where you was at. So I just
let you know, man, that even though we got on you,
we didn't miss it. That's why we was getting on you.
We did miss you, but they missed you. You know,

(24:34):
they wanted you there just as well.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Most I missed them too, man.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
I had to get their work in Chicago, had my
name on it, so I had knew what I had
to do next time. Next time.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Tanny was great seeing on the trip. Man, thanks you
been on the show.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
You said, you.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Guys, we got to talk about TIK before we get
into the actual game. We're gonna talk about it. Commander's
Fan seek is the official primary ticketing partner of Health
the Commanders and here to help you experience all the
action this season, from football.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
To Funk and any other live events. SEEKIK has to
take it.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
SEKK the official primary ticketing partner of the Washington command somebody,
you know, it's foray the second half of course, or
four fans from everywhere. And I'm not great at accents,
but there were two guys behind us talking about the
game and just listening to them. One guy goes, I
don't want to say that's pass interference, but.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
It's probably pass.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
And then of course, like ten years up, some guys
like if you I'm like, that's an American right there,
because so you can tell you can tell the differ
between the American fans, yes, and in the foreign fans.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Yes.

Speaker 9 (25:41):
The guys behind they were so polite, like is that
a really rotten? Like yeah, it was just crazy Oh
my god, it's so funny.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
Listen to me. No, lie, no lie. The guys they
were called it the game called it so well? Did
they so well? I'm sorry they just did. I want
to hear them call all kind of game.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
Like, it just had this worldly feel about it, very
worldly like. It was good. And like I said, the
stadium looked aweso like. The stadium looked like it was
like walking into the coliseum in Rome. It looked like that.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Hey, I am so glad that the two fan bases.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
And it was a hell of a game.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
It was.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
It was a hell of a game. I thought the
game was played well.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I was so happy to see Dad Quinn calling defensive
again because I have always been one of these advocates.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
I hate this. I hate it with all my soul,
and I say it all the time.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
I hate when defensive coordinators get head jobs and go
into CEO mode and stop calling defense.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
The offensive coordinators never get ahead job.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
David came a head coach by getting it done offensively.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
This is how you became this right.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
One of the best coaches of all time, New England
Patriots Bill Belichick called his defense every year he coached
football so I'm one of these advocates. You can have
a defensive coordinator and I could be the head coach.
Still called defense. They do it on office all the time.
All right, if you coach for McVeigh right now, you
offensive coordinator, you're gonna get a job.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
But we know McVeigh called him plays right.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Sometimes it's it's just and we talked about this on
the pre Aim show and get loud on Game Day.
Great job by int producing a ways yeah internationally yes,
international a yeah. Where just sometimes having a different voice
just it triggers something a little bit different. Like not
only is it the head man or the boss. It's like,
oh but it sounds different. It's communicated in a different way.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Communicating in a different way, but the standard sit by
the head coach.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
This the guy that hired and fire right. I ain't
gotta ex nobody. I got nothing that's applied.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Pressure without applied and pressure that My presence is pressure.
Like I said, anybody out there working in their job,
if your boss walked in, you perk up a little bit.

Speaker 10 (28:05):
Absolutely, production goes up. Everything happened because he's here. So
sometimes it's very new it's a late by no.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
No, we needed this buy more than ever because we've
been having early bides, early bies that don't really help us.
This would help us lock our wounds. We are wounded
duck right now. When I say beat up, we are
beat up from the flow up. So this this, we
can get a couple of soldiers back. You can get
Terry back out of this, you can get Jaden back
out of this, you can get like, you can get
a couple of guys back that can change how this

(28:39):
team look significant and how this team performs. We're gonna
get some you know, some guy that can change how
Vegas looks at the games. All right, So it's at
appropriate time, much needed. But as a player, I would
I would be kind of confused on what I needed
to do for this one because I would like to

(29:01):
go and enjoy myself on vacation if we lose it.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah, I'm just gonna ask you how do you balance
that out? Because look, you're still middle of the season,
so you need to break mentally and physically. But then
at the same time, you can't take a week and
a half off. No, no, So it's one of these
things like a right, do I need to get away?
Do I need to am I not playing good? And
I need to, like I need to troubleshoot, And that's
even worse. Like if I need to stay here in troubleshoot,

(29:27):
I ain't going nowhere. I'm gonna stay right here in
the DNV and I'm gonna come to work every day
even though it ain't no work.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
I'm gonna come and try to get myself better. Man,
it's all about keeping my job. And the only way
I can keep my job is I got to play
at a certain level. So it's a guilty conscience when
you go out and I'm finna go to Hawaii for
four days and I'm sitting out here drinking Coca coconut colotters,
and I feel like I ain't did my job.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
You see what I'm saying. Yes, so time level.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
I always love like when you say something and it's
funny and then out of my periphery I.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
See and a go.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
I'm just like cause it's a gifted pleasure right there.
For sure, it's one of them things. Where did I
earn this vacation? You gotta you gotta be good.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
To yourself, give yourself some grace. But if you're not
playing well, you gotta.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Get yourself account no doubt.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Also, and I gotta be like, you know, so some
guys that get away, and it's good for some guys
because some guys just need to mentally check out. For
some guys, they'll be like no, they might be antal
and be like you know, no, like no, I'm just
gonna stay and I'm gonna do my thing. So I
think it's whatever your personality is. And on the season

(30:36):
like this that's been emotionally draining, I would probably go
back to basics. So I would probably take a trip
back to Mississippi.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Okay, try to reset.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Reset, So I go back to Mississippi, go to my
aunt's house, go to my grandma house, all the stuff
that motivated me to get to get out of there
in the first place, right, So get some reality, go
back to my old neighborhood, like, get some renewed energy
in like this is why you play the game. Yeah,
So I would probably reset in Mississippi this week before

(31:09):
I go to Hawaii.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
So mentally, how important is it if you listen to
Sam Cosby.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
I think in particularly had some really interesting quotes about
how the team knew it had what an eight nine
hour flight back, but then they had to sit and
wait an extra three hours and the whole time he
essentially said, it is a hellscape and we had to
think on this the entire way back, and it's.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
A long trip anyway.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Yeah, I mean everyone here is exhausted because we were
up for twenty two hours.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Yes, yeah, yes, everybody here has red eyes. Yes, beside me,
everybody here showed up dragging in. Everybody got coffee in
they back pocket. I'm just laughing because I ain't then laughing.
I'm fine, I'm energized, but I can understand how going
there fighting a hard, losing the game, coming back dead energy.
Now I gotta go through customs, I gotta do this,

(31:56):
I gotta do that, do this. I can understand why
they could be that one thing on top of another.
And that's why I say this can come at a
better time right now. We needed this week off right now,
and if enough for health reasons, mentally, mentally.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
I was gonna say, especially coming off losing in this way, Yes,
because they had multiple chances, particularly in the red zone,
and then even laid it looked like maybe they would
get a field goal that didn't happen.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah, So my Gay's gone now he's been cut.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Yes, And I wasn't.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Shocked that the game started out for all field goals
in a soccer stadium. I was not shocked that it
was a battle of kickers. And like you said, the
best kicker one the one the other one is gone.
Like this football, this football to the te But like
I said, if I'm the team right now, I either

(32:53):
stay here I go back home. I just try to
just clear my head for a couple of days. Okay,
clean my head for a couple of days. And I
want to end this season. If I'm the coach, I'm
telling these guys, let's end this season different how we
started it. Yeah, let's leave a good taste in the
fans mouth. Let's go out here and with the players we.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Do have, Let's have some momentum going into the off
season where it's like, all right.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Because when the season's done, when the season's done, so
you at least want.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
To feel like because I would imagine that the last
thing you want is to have to stew an entire
offseason after struggling at the end of.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
The Yeah, no, no, you don't want to steal.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
You want to say we on the up and up,
and guess what, It's a seal of a lining in
this every year. Every year, it's one team that does this.
Every year is one good team that something goes a
ray and they have this bad season and they end
up drafting Jalen Carter. They have this bad season that

(33:51):
Tom Brady gets hurt and tears me up, and they
end up drafting the guy that you never thought you
was gonna get. He was set up too good for that.
All I'm saying is this is a silver lining into everything.
Everything happens the way it's supposed to. I dropped in
the draft because I was supposed to be here. I
wasn't supposed to be anywhere else. I was supposed to

(34:12):
be here. And my grandma told me that night, because
I was sitting there crying, tears dawn my face. She's like, boy,
watch them tears. You're supposed to be in Washington, DC.
You ain't supposed to be in Miami. You ain't supposed
to be in New Orleans. You were supposed to be there,
And the only way you was gonna get.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
There is getting drafted in the second round.

Speaker 5 (34:32):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
And that is the truth.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
And that's the truth.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
So and I took it and I stopped crying at
that time. I said, Grandma, you right. They know I'm
gonna go ahead, and so sometime just take it how
it comes, because how it comes is how it's supposed
to be.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Yeah, let's talk about some positives.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
It wasn't look when you suffer a loss like that,
I mean, it's a gun punch, right, because I thought,
all right, thought were gonna win on the last rived.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Listen, I've married Marcus. Marioda played his tail.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
He did.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
I'm gonna give him that. He played his tail off
until one mistake he made it then, yes, a tough one.
One mistake he made at the end. But I thought
Marcus played it but off. I thought the offense Chris
Rodriguez ran their ball downhill with a tough aggression. I
thought the offensive line played well. I thought the defense
showed you the best being but don't break defense you

(35:27):
could ever see.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
I thought they played well in spots man.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
I thought they fought. And that's what I want to
see you. I want to see him fight. I ain't
mad that Mike Tyson beat you up. I'm mad because
you ain't fighting back. I'm just saying it is and
imagine the pressure on DQ.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
And we can go back to the offense too, but
the defense in particular, Yeah, in the red zone. Yeah,
I mean had a couple of fourth downstop stopping these
guys in late situations or at least late in the drive.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
That's the ultimate being don't break. Yeah, you drive a ball.
Think about it if.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
You're a Dolphins off the offense that drove the ball
eighty five to get to the two and for us
to say no, yep, like twice. Let me tell you
somebody that Ken Law, Javon Kinlaw is a monster. I
don't know if it's Frankenstein how to wear a wolf,
but he's a monster. I watched this grown man throw

(36:17):
other grown men out of Spain, threw them to you,
threw them in London. He was kicking some butt in
those trenches him and it gold. I think there was
one play where he was leaning. I think he was
on top of Devon a chen and it just took
a while.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Oh talking about he got hurt.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
Yeah, and I was like, folded him up.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Yeah, it's gonna take him a while to get up.
He just had a three hundred plus pound man just.

Speaker 4 (36:47):
The ground, just him.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
Yeah, just in goped him and to see that, that's
satisfying to me. I'm sure they were satisfied too, the fans.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Finally, my defense fighting back. That's all they wanted. That's
all they wanted.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
And like I said, sometime the right voice in the
room can change the way that everyone plays. I saw
everybody flying around. I saw DB's flying around. I saw
linebackers flying around. I saw people And that's what happened.
When the big man come in your room, the head
coach is here, the head coaches here, That changes the
way you look at it. So is this the game

(37:23):
plan from here on out? Which is the high DQ?
Keep doing this and keep right.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
Don't break but don't break this. When you are on
third screen, guys, you gotta come with a plan.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
And they're playing probably gonna be let's simplify and play
fast because we can't get complicated. Yeah, we gotta simplify
and we gotta play fast. Do you remember the years
of one Sep and Derrick Brooks Temple too?

Speaker 5 (37:47):
I do.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
That's a legendary defense right there. But they also told
you we're gonna play Tempa too.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
We're playing nothing else but meet us. It didn't matter
it didn't matter. You're gonna have to beat us. It's
one thing did we do. We played fast. We don't
have to think. We don't even got a huddle covering
do what you playing third?

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Now?

Speaker 4 (38:09):
Covering two? Like they didn't. They don't hide anything.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
That's the ultimate mastery of something. That that's when you
say we're gonna get great at this. We don't want
to do nothing else. All right, Well, they simplified, they
played fast. I thought we simplified this week, and I
thought we played fast.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
Yeah, it's like you hear those stories about you hear
this with great groups, tamp A certainly one. If you're
just about the hogs all the time. Yeah, they would
line up and they would look at someone say.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
Tell them we're gonna go right there, we're to o curtain.
And it didn't matter. They were like and they would
right there.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Success every single time.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
I got ask you this, Yeah, I didn't ask you.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
How was the coffee incredible? Did you drink it out
of small cup with your Absolutely? Did double espresso?

Speaker 1 (38:54):
You did all the time. It was it was truly
work hard, play hard, like that's the way it was.
So your coffee just was you just needed it and
it was great, and it's everywhere.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
It's the beauty of it. Yeah, of course, that's just
part of the culture. You gotta get your coffee, Spanish coffee.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
It was.

Speaker 4 (39:11):
It was just did good.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
It wasn't like Maxwell House dripped at home.

Speaker 11 (39:15):
Don't be ripping Maxwell. I like Maxwell's I'm just saying
it's not ripping. Don't be ripping the wild. Why don't
you don't come back to American with your piggy yup
the same thing, Like you literally just threw Maxwell.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
The half is it is that still around? It's still around.
I drink Maxwell coffee.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
You drink Maxwell House coffee if it's on sale.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
Listen, when didn't come to coffee. I'm not really a snob.
I'll take any cup of coffee.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Okay, I mean I will too, but I prefer if
I can to get a better cup. It's one of
the few things I'm kind of snobbish about.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
You a coffee snob.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Kind of See, I'm not like I refuse to get
stop books my money. Oh really, I'm not paying that
much for a cup of coff They got great coffee here.
By the way, I think it's Starbucks.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
It's Starbucks. Coffee. Yeah right, That's what I'm saying. I
will take I'm not picky on coffee because I feel like.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Once I put my cream and sugar in here, it's
a car.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
I'm fine. I'm gonna drive it if I just need
to stay up.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
Yes, But sometimes you want a rich cup of coffee,
you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
We're like, but you're like, oh, these are folder's crystals.

Speaker 4 (40:20):
Hey, listen, I don't care. I'm just not picky.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Let me say I'm not picky when it comes to
my coffee. I'm picky when it comes to my vegetables
and stuff like that. I like to grow my own
vegetables and stuff like that, so I'm picky with that.
But coffee beans I take whi wah. I mean, I'll
drink coffee, turn it down.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
I'm not turning down any gas station coffee.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Actually, gas station coffee is sneaky good.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
No, especially when it's the old Texico that hands the
old where you're.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Just like yeah, oh, because then you got someone you
got mad behind the counter who just made a fresh pot, just.

Speaker 12 (41:02):
A fresh Then they'll be like, oh, this has been
there for a second. Let me make you make me
a fresh with yes ma'am and that immediate respect. You're like,
yes ma'am, yes ma'am, Yes ma'am.

Speaker 4 (41:12):
I'm gonna sit right here right.

Speaker 5 (41:15):
It's fine.

Speaker 4 (41:15):
That why I say, I'm not really a coffee.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Snub, but I want to know how was the coffee
because it was delicious and I needed to drink it up,
but I didn't know. Did you see a Starbucks old?

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Oh yeah, tons.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
I wouldn't say tons, but they weren't hard to find,
let me put.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
It that way.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Did they have any brand that you saw over there
that you was like this the Spanish Starbucks? Well we
went to this one. The crazy thing about Madrid is
a lot of it's underground. Whoa.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
So the hotel that we stayed at where you know,
you're looking on the maps, restaurants near me, bars and
I'm like, it says they're all here, but I see nothing,
and I'm like, I see it. But then you walk
downstairs and it opened.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Up and it's like Chicago.
