Speaker 1 (00:16):
He's gonna get welcome inside the Big Bear.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Ai you answer studio. It is to get a Loud
podcasts for everybody.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Seegeek, the official primary ticketing partner of the Washington Commander's
Fine takets to Commander's games and more at seat Geek
Bradsboo yeah, Jenkins, bro, how are you doing this morning?
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'm making it. I'm coffee and lated. Let's say that.
Oh my god, it took the biggest call a cup
of coffee in America this morning for me to get
up because you know, it's three hours after the game
over with.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
The game went over with until like eleven is shit.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, you're talking about a guy working off a fumes
about three and a half hours a good sleek, four
hours a good sleep. Yeah, so it's fine. Plus my
glooteest Maximus is hurting. It is we got kicked in
it last Yeah, and it wasn't like they kicked it.
(01:13):
I kicked myself into glutiest Maximus. That's what I felt
like happened. We self inflicted wounds. We beat ourselves, and
that's the worst loss you can have as a player.
That's the worst loss you can have as a coach
because that means the game plan that the coaches put
in all week worked. I mean effort worked. That means
(01:36):
everything that you need to happen worked. And we gave
it up because we turned the ball over. That hurts
that things more than anything. Now I'm getting Texas from
Big Cat at three point thirty in.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
The morning, all kinds of stuff. Listen to me. File.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
So what I'm saying is I'm in a better demeanor
than I should be, Okay, because I understand and I've
been there as a player, and I know how that
pains the players right now, when you let one go
like that, that breaks your soul right there, Jeez, that
breaks your soul. That makes you feel a different way.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Well, let us know what you think. We always want
to hear from you here on the show. We play
your voicemails on the radio shows.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Yeah we do, we do.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
We do here.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah seven o three seven two six seven four one
nine seven o three seven two six seven four one nine,
or you could email us Washington get Loud at gmail
dot com. Isn't it funny how sometimes football is a
very simple game.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
It's so simple, you know what I mean. You win
the turnover battle there, you win the game. Yeah, simple
as that.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
First of all, we got past two turnovers. Yes, we
got past two. You ain't getting past three. The odds
of you winning the game with three turnovers to no turnovers,
it's like, what eighty plus.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Percent that you will lose, yeah, even at home.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
And it happened to us, and it was It happened
so quick that I was numb.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
I thought we were going to get that third and one,
and I thought this game is gonna be.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
The game is over. We went from just made a
what twenty point swing? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
To oh really? And I tell you what I gotta
get on the ship from love. I kind of like
seeing I enjoy at the light show before the game.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
And let's talk about that.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
I kind of enjoyed. Listen.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
They had the blackout right, yeah, the all black uniforms,
and then they handed out wrist bands to all the
fans that lit up.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
And they invested in sort of that light system too.
In the stadium.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
They had to did admit it all the way intil
the sweet that I was in.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
It was really cool, and.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
We turned the lights off in the suite that I
was in to be a part of the festivities, and
I thought, I was like, you know what, they never
did this for us. They never let the stadium up
for us.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
It's smoodiir chips and sauce.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Hey listen, nowhere good for We never got the light show.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
I played plenty of Monday nights. The Interests was banging.
It was electric in there. The atmosphere was set. I
could feel it coming in the air tonight, just to
lose it, just to have it ripped from your fingers,
(04:25):
just to just what what could I equate it to?
It's like drinking a cup of coffee and getting on
the beltway. You know, you just messed up, Like have
you're gone from the stuffing your toe?
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Maybe you're on the beltway. Listen, hurt. You know what
pain feel like, James? Do you know what pain feel like?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
PA feels like pain feels like going to the wildwire,
getting that twelve inch twelve hours of coffee, knowing you
got to sit on their beltway.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Lizen just gotta sit there.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
You have lots your mind. If you think that's a
good plan, right, it's not a right. I have felt
playing in many ways. Like I said, it hurt the
soul last night because it felt like.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
I let my little brother beat me up, knowing he ain't.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
He can't beat me up because the game plan was
on point, everything was, everything was there. And you want
to blame it on the rain. We can't blame it
on the rain. Was that Milivan Nelly?
Speaker 4 (05:28):
That was before we found out they couldn't see it,
before we found out they were fake.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
All right, I'm proud blame it on the rain. You
can't do it because the Chicago played in the rain too.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
And also you just you Football naturally is a game
playing the elements. I know there's dumb sayings.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
But if you make if you make the elements to
an excuse, then your all's gonna be making it.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
And that's what I love by Jayden hitting the poleum
do it and say, you know what, that's me, not
the rain, not nothing else. And I wanted to hear
that come from him. I wanted to hear they tell
you how mad I was. Tell me the truth. Yeah,
he told me the truth right, and it was just
like I say, the pain was so deep for me.
(06:10):
That was my whole theme on my show last night.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Pain.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Tell me about something that happens to you and it's
just instant pain. You bounce back from it because that's
what we do with pain, but you just it cuts
you deep. And I said that when I say stumping
my toe, it just pain. It's just unnecessary pain. And
(06:34):
that's what I feel like last night.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Let me ask you this then, well I got a
two part question. First of all, before we getting the pain, Yeah,
what wasn't that from clubber Lane? And was it Rocky three?
What's your prediction for the match?
Speaker 5 (06:46):
Pain?
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Instantly pain?
Speaker 3 (06:50):
So how is weakness leaving the body? There you go,
that's another good one.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Is weakness leaving the body.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
But pain is also weakness coming into the body, because
it's your body saying I'm weak at this it's your
mind saying I'm weak at this time.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Yeah, it's it is okay, So how do you get
rid of that? Because when you have a loss like this,
I mean, the guy said to a man, this is.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Heartbreaking because it was right there for the taking. So
when you experience this pain.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, when your heart is broken like that on a
football field, how do you get back in the right
mindset to recover and get a win? Because you know
how it is, you can only linger for so long.
You got another opponent coming up and this week is Dallas.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
You can take medicine, but it only numbs it. It
only numbs it.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
All Right, pain has to be fought through. Okay, pain
is the privilege to make it feel better. That means
why I got this window of pain. I do got
a window to reverse it. Okay, how do I reverse it?
Is it mentally? Is it physically? Like that's what you
have to as a team, that's what you do, because
(07:57):
then you kind of soul searching, like we.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Did everything we need to do and we still lost
the game. So that's an US team.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
That's when you go into the locker room and you're like,
this is an US team right there. That ain't on
the coaches, that on the reffs, that ain't on nobody.
That's on us. We were the better team, we had
the better plan, we had everything set up, and we
let them come and steal.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
This game that brought pain.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
So you know, the old saying you heard this before.
Don't let a lost beat you twice? Right, Yeah, how
do you get out of this? I mean you can
kind of feel the funk here. You can feel it
amongst them. You can feel it like everybody needs to
get out of this funk and get ready for a
big game coming up this weekend.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
As a player, how do you do that?
Speaker 4 (08:40):
You turn the page?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Okay, you literally say, you know what the reality is.
We went out, we gave the game away. We got
to win this next game. It's a divisional game. And
the one thing I can say that I really stings
me to death. Stings me like going to the dog part.
You want no pain. Have you ever been to the
dog part? I have been to the dog park and
(09:04):
you come back and realize it's poop on your shoe.
Dallas defense, listen, it's proven to be one of the
worst defensive I've ever seen in football. Oh yeah, But
on the flip side, one of the better offenses I've seen.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
This is an offense.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Look at the numbers that Anna put down for us,
because she does an awesome job. I mean, they're number
one in passing offense, number three in rushing offense, number four,
and scoring offense the average more than four hundred and
six yards per game. So Dak is slinging around and ceedee,
Lam's getting close to coming back.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
And skinny deck. This is what I always tell people. Okay,
when Dak is skinny deck, he starts to run again,
and when he runs again, it opens up that third
dimension that allows him to be an elite quarterback. All right,
George Picking has turned into a grasshoper all of a sudden,
and he's catching the ball and jumping over everybody. So
(09:55):
they have the ability to move the ball on you.
Davonte Williams running the ball down out here. That offensive
line playing way better than I thought it would be.
They are legit threat, especially on our fence, and you
know eventually they're gonna have a good defensive game.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
It won't all be bad. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Well, you know what, you could kind of say that
about the Bears, right, because they had two weeks to
get ready and they had relatively and they got healthy, right,
they got healthy, that had a pretty good defensive.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
They did, but we still beat them and gave it
to them at the end. We gifted it to them.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
When you look at the Cowboys, even they don't have
an identity though right now.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Of their defense. They they I'm gonna tell you this.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
I remember one day pull into a stop sign, waiting
on it to turn green.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Okay, well yeah, stop sign.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Yeah okay, it never turned green.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
I bet didn't.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
I believe you. This what the This is what the
Dallas defense is.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
They had a stop sign waiting to go, yeah, waiting
on it to turn green when it will never really
turn green. All right, it has a word on it.
It's a side you stop and you go.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
They haven't figured that out over there right now. I
don't know what they're good at. Not cover one, not
cover two, not cover three, uh not zone like and
the best players that they have they're not playing well.
You're playing Diggs money, top ConA money. You're playing playing
top ConA money. Nobody on this defense is playing well
(11:37):
right now.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Well, this gives the Commanders a chance to take advantage
of that.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
And we saw some guys in the Bears game that
maybe can perform against the Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
What about Luke McCaffrey.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Once again, listen, I told you when a guy see
a ball go over the fence in baseball, just one
they started to really get into groove. That's been Luke
ever since he scored. And I hold people this he
I believe. Right now, he's leading the lead in return
yard and every time he returns the ball at the
(12:09):
forty five yard line, I'm starting to expect it. Luke
McCaffrey on the return forty five yard line, like that
goes together.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Yeah, like soup and cracks. It feels good. All right.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
I'm just telling you right now. And he's playing his
way into a mold on his team that even when
even Wilson n ain't come back, Terry come back. Yeah,
he it's the spot for himself. He's going to get reps.
He's going to make plays.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
He's not just gonna get replaced. He'll have a role.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
No, his role is see bending on the team right now,
like he's really in Jayleen Lane. Jayleen Lane is making plays.
Zach Ertziiton. I got him into the game. Jayden throws
three touchdown. Like I say, everything was set up for
this to be, especially with.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
The light show. Just walk off, just walk off to
It wasn't Jinx and two it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
You are cracking me up today?
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Why because I'm.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Hurt, Because you're so hurt and you're all over the
place because you're hurt, because you're pain.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
I'm literally going from A to Z.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I know, no, that's where I meant pain, right, Oh,
you asked me pain?
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Like what? Fred?
Speaker 6 (13:18):
What?
Speaker 4 (13:18):
But Chris Moore, I thought that catch was ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
It that was a dime from Jayden by the way.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
That's what we got to Jedi and he and Hic
goa think about it. We have yet to play four
quarters of pure football.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
And that's why I think really got the players wondering,
I you know, we're gonna hit this scride.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
And it got the coaches wondering, what is our silly
you know, because we haven't played four quarters of legit football.
We still started off slow and then we ring off
twenty plus points, changing everything, momentum swing, everything swings and
then the snap of a ball to do miss falling slowly.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
The ball just he initially didn't catch it. It never
was in his That's true.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
He had a haul of end I mean security just
the last second there.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
And never really secured it, giving it to one hundred
dollars bill.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
I got calls last night.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
It was out of dollar bill time I was like, well,
the Bears did have like eight in the box.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
They were daring us to pass.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
They sure were.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Everyone knew going in, what was the game plan? Right,
this is the worst rushing defense and one of the
worst rushing defenses in the NFL. They were thirty first
coming into that game. So the thought is, okay, feed
Bill and the Bears knew they had two weeks to
get ready. All right, We're actually going to stack the
box and make you try and throw the beatus.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Yeah, And people were like, well, why running game and
going I like, they said, no negotiation. They said, I
do not negotiate. I'm not here to negotiate. We're gonna
put eight in the box. We're gonna force you to
run the ball. And if you turn the ball over
three times, let me tell you, you don't need to
be an ex football player to know this. You're going
(15:12):
to lose. You turn the ball over three times and
the opponent turned the balls over none on the road,
you're going to lose the game. So that's why I say,
did the Bears take it? Did we give it? That's
the question. We gave the game away? That hurts that hurts.
(15:32):
Hurts like my ex wife giving my old school away.
What she did, No, she did, she did.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Well. It hurts.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I tell you what. Let's read an ad.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
They're gonna talk about the NFC East and then Sean
Spreeze is.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Gonna be here.
Speaker 3 (15:53):

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Field, run out of the Eagles? What's wrong the Eagles?
Speaker 4 (16:36):
They they do?
Speaker 3 (16:37):
They like each other.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
I don't think they didn't know.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
What ours it's self inflicted. Their's is self inflicted.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Yeah, but I don't know if they're a team team.
They are.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
They have a lot of individual talent, star star power,
but they aren't playing together.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
All right. The worse than is this, okay?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Would you because whatever they're doing been working like they
still got to win it rend don't get it twisted.
Still one of the best rosters in football. But would
you alter what you call this evidently working to satisfy
one person?
Speaker 3 (17:17):
No, you can't.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
All right.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
The best player on the team offensively to me is yes,
slow start.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
That's the thing is that you can't saytiate Aj Brown
the whole office.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
It's not just Him's not performed. No one's performing.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
The offensive line is not what it was last year, right.
I think that.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
When we deal with AJ Brown, he got what I
called Tito's disease. Tito Jackson.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
He's not like is it the vodka or is it
Tito Jackson?
Speaker 2 (17:54):
And Jackson He's not Michael, He's not a j Brown
thinks he's Michael. He thinks he's the reason for the season.
Sat Quan is Michael?
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Yes? Say quad is Michael? Huh? And if Michael not nagging,
why are you nagging Tito?
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Why are you talking about the buses right while you
talk about the train, the travel.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
If you want people to hear your backup vocals, make
sure Michael singing first, we.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
We didn't come to see you. We came to see
Micha L.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
M J.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
I don't understand this. It started with the coaching. Huh.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
That's where that if your locker room fractures at any time,
and it's a locker room led by grown ups, meaning
the coach really leased the locker room. I have to
look at the coach when it ain't working. I gotta
look at the coach when we can't all just get
along all right. And I also think, as much as
(19:04):
I love Jalen, Hurt says a leader, his calm demeanor
ain't happiness.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
He needs to be more vocal.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
He need to emote more. Okay, okay, like emotionally when
he talks. Sometimes he feels detached. He feels almost like determinator.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
See, I feel like they're all sort of detached, right
like they just no one's connecting. Because even after aj
Brown came out and he posts that Bible Verse on
X because he was unhappy to getting the ball. Then
right after that then he had a personal meeting with
Jalen and.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Have right and then like.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Oh, it wasn't a big deal, but you did have
the meaning like they're all over the.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Plat and they asked DeVante Smith about it. He like, hey,
me and him, two different people, right Like, so it's
just one hit app But you know what, I'm good
with that because them bleacher creatures in Philadelphia deserve it.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
I mean, it's fine with me.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
It's just interesting to see a team that has everything
you would want not being able to connect, which is
why chemistry and playing for one another I.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Can take you.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
That's what makes a team a team. The best individual
players don't win the Super Bowl. The best team wins
the Super Bowl. And right now, emotionally mentally, they're just
not connected.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
They're not connected.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Like you could shatter that team very easily.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
With words right now. Me as a talker, trash talker.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
You let me talk to this team before the game.
I'm going to make sure it's battles happening on that team.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Well, I hope they continue to fracture.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
No, no, but I hope they are fracturing right now.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
And that's the whole thing stops a roster like that,
that's the only thing it has to rot from the
inside out.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
And it's rotting from the inside out, right.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
And they were beat up by the giants last time out.
So the Giants. Jackson johckson Cam Cam scattaboo and his
career is going to go about three or four years
at this point.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
He keeps running like that, but he is something to watch.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
He's very grunkish. He has this grunk quality too, just Neanderthal,
all right.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
He used to run into telephone poles as a kid
and his mom was like, yeah, that's how I practice.
I absolutely believe.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
And that's why Mom sit back sometime and say he
ain't got it out.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
At least he'd yeah, Mom sit back like, yeah, that's
my boy.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
I met his dad at Applebee. Listen. It is what
it is.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
But they have brung hope to New York, that's what
it is. They have brung swagger to New York. Jackson
Dart has shown that I went to Mississippi for a
little while and got that Mississippi swag. Did you see
that Misssippi swag steaming off of Jackson Dart?
Speaker 4 (21:49):
All right?
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Right now, the hottest man in New York is Jackson
Dot the wildest man.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
In New York.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Oh my god, it's some kids out there right now,
Halloween approaching quickly, gonna be cam scatterable.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Oh my god, yes, ah, taking their shirts off, break
dance in the middle of the screen, all kinds of stuff,
like listen to me, he and jack And it's a pair.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
It always better an offense when you get a pair,
all right, when you get a rookie sensation pair. And
you know how, when you're young, you don't know enough
to be afraid.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Yeah, you don't. You don't know what you don't know.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
You don't know what you don't know. And they are
right now, just.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
I'm seeing Jackson dart trying to run people over, running
out of bouth. They are just un least unchained frielry
right now. They just burning like a hot stove right now.
They don't need no direction, they don't need nothing, alright.
They pull up to the store with whatever be that
(22:52):
don't matter down that way. When somebody say down yonder,
down yonder, Oh you mean three whites in the lamp, Yeah,
down under scatterbu went in the tenth to get Jackson
dark like, hey, dude, did you see what.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
Rush just did?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Russ one played They boom off the field first of all,
Oh my god, have you ever seen the file from
Grace so quickly?
Speaker 3 (23:17):
It's been pretty quick for Russ.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
It's very is no one point you on top of
the world best selling group in the world. Second thing
we find out you can't sing, but you're a singer.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
At least Nelly could never sing.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
Maybe never play quarters. Oh my god, what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Listen it was never him?
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Listen. Richard Sherman said he was never hire Man.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Is it Richard just being I like riches from He's
a hell football player, but is he just being better
at this point?
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Come on, Marshaw and Len said the same thing.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
That's because nobody liked Russ.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
First of all, after he said let's ride, you should
have knew that.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
I just think the broncos I was after that was
post to see hark No.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
No, just imagine me calling you up Jinx boys night out,
all right, met you and three more of the guys.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Me you shunned Springs, London, Tricks.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Fletcher, all the guys all right, and I just know
you keep that check this out And then I say,
you know what, guys, we're gonna meet at ten y'all ready,
let's ride. You'll be like, I'm not going out. You'll
be like, no till Catherine, I'm staying home.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Right, Fred just dropped the let's ride. I'm saying I
was gonna go until I was gonna go.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
But this dude is saying this ride home. Yeah, I'm
not good with him.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Guys, can I tell you about for a second, is
the official primary taking partner of Hell to the Commanders,
here to help you experience all the action this season,
from football to Funk and other live events.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Seek Geek has the tickets.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Seek the official primary ticketing partner of the Washington command There.
Of course, we got to bring in our guy Sean
Springs to talk about Bears, talk about Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
How you doing, Sean?
Speaker 6 (25:17):
What's up fellas?
Speaker 7 (25:20):
I'm just glad to be on your show, man, you know,
I think you know, bring some professionalism to the show.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Professionalism, right, We need someone to sort of raise the
level here.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
So how do you recover from a loss like we
saw against the Bears When when these guys look back,
they're gonna say, you know, this is on us. We
had three turnovers, they had none. We we're the reason
why we lost this game.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
Well, and you don't want to disrespect the Bears.
Speaker 7 (25:45):
They played it. They played a good game. They forced
some turnovers. We obviously we had three turnovers, but you
know it was a get back game. Bears came in
a little chip on their should. I saw a former
teammate Randall El before the game and he was hyphing.
Those guys were confident coming off of buy in the
two game win streak, and we left some plays out
on the field for us. And next week, you know,
(26:07):
you gotta put that game behind you. It's a tough
loss at home on Monday night, but you now now
on to the next week.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Man Sun, We've been in locker room where we feel
like we literally handed the game to the opponent. And
we know how they could take the air out of
the locker room. We know how they could really like
some make the team kind of adopt himself in a minute,
what do you think coach day and Quinn has to
do to get this team back on the right track.
(26:33):
Of course, we getting Terry mclowin back. Of course, we
get salm Co's back. Of course we finished. You know,
we're getting some reinforcements. We send it for reinforcements, but
mentally what would you be talking to the team about
to try to get us back on track right now?
Speaker 7 (26:47):
The biggest thing is, you know, I like coaches Mantra,
He's always talking about the next week and just focused
on the wee can have.
Speaker 6 (26:53):
For me, it's all about you going your rights.
Speaker 7 (26:57):
You can be down after game like that because you know,
as in the visual like damn I left I fumbled,
or I threw a pick here that was an easy pick,
or we could have did this better. We gave up
this run, or I could have made that tackle. Was
a lot of reasons why we felt like we gave
the game away. And as an individual, you just go
back and you look at tape and it's like, all right,
I gotta I gotta make those plays and then the
(27:18):
whole team collectively will be better as individuals. And coach
Quinn is probably telling guys like, listen, guys, we are
getting some players back. We are gonna be better than
we were last week. Let's make these corrections, let's move
on with it.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
So what do you want to see more of when
it comes to this defense, because last night, yes, it
was tough seeing DeAndre Swift, especially late in the game
when you knew he was going to get the ball
and he was still having sustained success.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
And could not stop. I think that that was the
thing that was the thing about it.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
They imposed they wheel owners, if they ever did impose
they wheel owners.
Speaker 7 (27:49):
Last night, well let's say this man, and the reason
why I don't say want to give it away, I
would to give a smooth pro sometimes you run us
in courtingate is that just got your number. Made some
great cars. I thought Ben Johnson called a great game
last night. They made some plays. You know, it came
up on the edge. They knew they were a man
(28:10):
coverage or couple around a couple of rub routes. You
think about the uh DeAndre Hopkins play weight caught it
and fly and obviously Kualm messed tackle, but that was
a pick play. The deep overs, you know, smooth and
I played a lot of man, and you know, sometimes
it's tough when the team know you're gonna being man
with these rub routes, deep overs and stuff like that.
And then then a couple of runs, you know, we
(28:31):
would loaded up inside and Ben Johnson timed it up
with a quick toss and DeAndre swipt with that type
of speed hit it up in there, but smooth probably
can talk to you about like man, sometimes you run
into coordinators that they call a great game.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, And I think them having that bye week, they
having two weeks to really assess themselves and assess us
and say, what is their screenks, what is their weakness,
Let's figure out what they do. And I think they
kind of because I think they really got out to
a fast start and I think they had everything to
do with that bye week. But but they's saying that
with coach with in this run defense, what do you
(29:05):
think is the answer here? Is it a finding the
right rotation, is it finding the right call? Is it
finding everything in unison? What you think that's about?
Speaker 7 (29:16):
Part of it is just like the guys up front
when they play, we all our defense goes. You know,
we played great against the Charges, played great against the Giants,
and you know what I mean when I front seven
plays amazing and our defense is much better than the
back end. It seemed like at times we were out
of gaps, man Like, there was a little bit of
not people that sync. You know, when you see a
(29:37):
guys a fourteen yard run, a fifteen yard run here
and there, or when we know they're gonna run the ball,
and they steal gushes for you know, a first down.
That seems to me like there were some guys that's,
you know, maybe out of their gaps, not the right line.
But that's got to be corrected, and they got to
be in sync. The front seven got to be together,
whether it's an overfront or whatever front. They running the
(29:57):
big guys up front, the linebackers got to know what
gaps are here.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Well, I used to snitch on you all the time
when we was in locker about the fact that, uh,
you was download of Dallas fan the whole time because
your daddy played for Dallas. Right, So let's turn, let's turn,
let's turn the page to Dallas. Right now, Skinny Dack
is playing some ball right now. Like that offense is
top in the league in every category you can think of.
(30:21):
They can move the ball on anybody right now. They're
proven that defense not so much where you see Dallas.
What problems do you think they pose for a team
right now? Did you say skinny d like, no skinny
deck like Dak Prescott. When Dak is skinny, he runs
more like right now, he brings that third dimntion he's
running more right now.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
After the show, we're gonna talk about Skinny Luthor or
Big Luthor, but you're saying Skinny DK Man.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Yeah, yeah, Skinny Deck.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Skinny Deck two years removed from surgery on the ankle.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
He's adding the element. I always tell him.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Dude, when you run, you make it harder for people
to stop you when you pass.
Speaker 7 (30:59):
Yeah, and that you know, you know, he's playing the
MVP quality football right now. Man, he's you know even
with you know CD Bazar. I mean a couple of
throws he made even not this last week, but two
weeks ago to Pickings, this was outstanding. Dak's throwing that
ball around, moving around Dallas. Their problem because you're you're
(31:19):
actually right, the guys they have like a Pickings. He's
a lot better than most of the people are in
the homes, you know. I mean, he's a game change here.
Record and then you know it's just the run game,
the physical upfront. You know, those guys they run the
inside zone, outside zone. They can run the ball and
(31:39):
they'll take shots on you.
Speaker 6 (31:40):
Man.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
Defensively, do they have an identity? I mean they're as
good as they are. They stink and and without Michael Parsons.
They're just kind of out there and you know you
can outscore Dallas because they don't stop you.
Speaker 6 (31:57):
Yeah, and that's the key. But they still got guys
out there and get that ball.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
Man.
Speaker 6 (32:01):
You still got to be careful, you know.
Speaker 7 (32:03):
You know, you got Digs back there, who you know
if he get his back and got playing in those
guys in the back end and the defense, like you know,
you know, it's funny like Jerry Jones comes on ESPN
or it goes on and say we got the pass
rushers and everything, and I'm like he's in denial about that.
Speaker 6 (32:20):
But the best the best defense is a great offense, man.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
Yeah, yeah, most definitely.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
And when I look at that team as a whole,
because I think we got to turn the page because.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
I'm sick about the game, man, Like I'm sick about it.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Like I like I'm tossing and turning all night because
I'm like, I can't believe we gave a game away.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
But turn that page to Dallas.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
When I look at them, though, that's a team that
I think we can get back on the good foot
on because I think they did so one dimensional when
it comes to offense and I think we are actually offense,
special team man defense, but bluefoot we have yet to
put four quarters of football together. What do you think
the problem with the slow starts and not playing a
complete game right now?
Speaker 7 (33:00):
Yeah, I mean that's one of those things, man, like
you try to put your finger on't. I don't know
if anyone has the answer to that, because you know,
you know, one game we played excellent, and the special
teams and we play you know, I mean, if you
think of what I'm just going back to the back
of the games, think about the Giants game after we
got after Russell, like by d line or week one,
(33:21):
we're like, man, well we don't have any turnovers and
then we get one of you know, play Atlanta and
Mikey get his first turnover, then to get another one
in against San Diego. So and then on offense we
can say, well, Jaden was out two weeks and you know,
but we're still scoring twenty seven points and you know,
so you can you see it there, whether it's offense,
defense and special teams, and even with Jayden and on
(33:44):
special teams, we got young guys who are making plays.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Yeah, Luth McCaffrey is leading the league in return right now.
Speaker 7 (33:52):
And it's like, man like, the one way to look
at it is if we put it all together, damn,
we're a pretty good team.
Speaker 6 (33:58):
Were the team we expect to be.
Speaker 7 (34:00):
But until you do that, like you get a little
like word like why haven't we had that complete game yet?
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Sean, When you talk about this team, one of the
things that they need to prove on is starting quicker.
I know we mentioned that, but came from ten points down,
againt the Chargers had to come back from thirteen against
the Bears. Is that something you can script or is it?
Is it more of a mindset.
Speaker 6 (34:21):
I think it's more of a player.
Speaker 7 (34:22):
Okay, you know not how you know you get you
get Terry back, that makes it difference. We all know
like Deebo has been carrying a load, and even McCaffrey
and this guy is stepping up.
Speaker 6 (34:34):
And we got Dollar Bill who had a you know.
Speaker 7 (34:36):
Hunting yard rushing game against the Chargers his first one,
and I don't know what his final stats were last night.
But you got to have players, man, to have fast start,
you gotta have you got to have all your weapons
out there. And and I think we scoring points and
were moving the ball, but it feels like we're just
missing that guy, you know, and oftentimes when you were
fast start, it's like because you got you got, you
(35:00):
got Chase or Jefferson or somebody, just that guy.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Well, we are missing Terry, were missing that number one
what I'm saying, that's what it feels like.
Speaker 6 (35:08):
We're missing that guy, you know, like a difference.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
So how much better can this offense be when they
have Terry, who's slated to come back soon when Sam
caused me, is back in the line. Because as they
get healthier, I feel like, now we'll see how dynamic
this offense can become.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
And in just the right time too.
Speaker 6 (35:27):
I think there's gonna be an offense we thought they
were going to be.
Speaker 7 (35:30):
You got to improve Jayden Daniels, who's the playbook has
been expanded for him. We found a gym, a dominant
rough and dollar Bill you know, you know where he
can run the ball. I think he's becoming the dominant
you know, running back. And you know when the receiver
Cord get healthy. And I mean the bright spot is
(35:52):
you know, with Terry out, some of the younger receivers,
they look good.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Lane is out there making plays.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Micafrey is making play.
Speaker 7 (36:03):
So I think when everybody comes back in the offensive
line for cost me back in, they start to jail man.
Speaker 6 (36:09):
I think it's gonna be the team we wanted to
be and smooth.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
No.
Speaker 7 (36:12):
We played some years, man, where some teams just aren't
gonna be fast started.
Speaker 6 (36:17):
Some teams are just gonna grind through it.
Speaker 7 (36:18):
Some teams are just you know that coach Gibbs, you
just to put that a hard hat on.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Man.
Speaker 7 (36:23):
You might just be a hard hat team and just
grind through it and just win. Some figured out a
way to win.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Well.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
I think it's a methodical team. I think they find
their way doing the game. I think they feel their
way doing the game and they make take them accord.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
I think that.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
I think they're more of a Floyd Maywell to when
it comes to their counterpuncher. They're not an initiator. They're
not the one that comes out swinging throughing blows. They
more of a counter punching team that lets you show
them what you're gonna do, how you gonna try to
attack them, and then they come aways to attack you.
Speaker 7 (36:55):
Yeah, for sure, exactly what I'm saying. I'm glad Mississippi
State using methodical like that. That's a great word for
for while.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
See, I was trying to play so nice. I was
playing nice the.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
Whole time, and then you go, you had to come
out and poke me, right, Yeah, come out to stick
me in the back right there.
Speaker 7 (37:17):
But one more point to that. You know, we gotta
get turnovers, turnovers. You know, obviously last night you saw
what it did for the Bears, But man, we gotta
get some turnovers. And then you know that that that
can change the game and hurry too.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Yeah, And I thought Frankie Louvu stood that. I thought
I thought some guys actually played some good ball. I
thought Trey Amis played some good ball there. But like
you said, if you're not going to major and ball
retreat with, if you're not gonna give your offense a
short feel, if you're not gonna turn the ball over,
you're not gonna take it away from the team that's.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
On the road.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
You know what, I'm not gonna get mad because we
gave Caleb a lot of hell last year. I thought
Kayler Williams played a pretty damn good game.
Speaker 6 (37:55):
Yes he did.
Speaker 7 (37:55):
He looks like a whole new dude with Ben Johnson, Concha,
That's what I was saying, man like, I mean you
could see the noticeable different from this year and last
year with Kayla Man and that shows you what you know,
play calling and coaching and weapons round.
Speaker 6 (38:07):
You know, they got some they got some dudes, you know.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
More Roman dudes. They got dudes.
Speaker 6 (38:12):
They got some dudes, right, And so DeAndre Swift he's exciting. Now.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
I'm glad we don't have to play him seventeen games
a year because he seems to love to play at
Northwest State. Like every time he comes to Northwest State
and he puts a show on like Swift like that
that the catch and him tight working the.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Side man that broke the game open.
Speaker 7 (38:36):
Broy A gear too. I mean he got me, he
got you know, he got to get that way and score.
Speaker 6 (38:44):
He can score.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Man, I've never heard that before in my life.
Speaker 6 (38:47):
Get that something.
Speaker 4 (38:48):
Get that way State right now?
Speaker 6 (38:52):
Look at score man.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
How did you go from Ohio State the horse down?
Speaker 4 (38:59):
I don't like either, you know the end of the day,
He's one of those things. We're family because we s
CC you.
Speaker 7 (39:05):
Know, Jake, you know, Ja's not everybody like winners Man.
He's got the underdog missip State got that like underdog
mentality in the world against h you know, the little
brother to old.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
What is a buy you know? Really what what really
is a buok? Guy?
Speaker 2 (39:19):
Like nobody has really brought that definition to the forefront.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
What is the Ohio State Bucky? Because I still.
Speaker 6 (39:26):
Don't know it's a treat? Is an that goes psous?
Speaker 4 (39:30):
That's just terrible? Like you know what, I thought the
Terps had the worst mascot. Uh.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Indeed it's this team in Mississippi, a college team depth
the state.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
They are to fighting. You know that state mascot, the.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
Fighting yes, and the buck eye is a nut me
finding that out really just changed everything.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
That's our guy, Seanpras.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
We love having him on the show.
Speaker 3 (39:55):
Sean, thanks for being here.
Speaker 6 (39:56):
Brother, Hey, thank you man.
Speaker 3 (40:01):
And then you're gonna see Sean later. I did have
a good time today.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
He's terrible. He's one of my friends, but he's terrible.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
You know what's time for now?
Speaker 4 (40:11):
Talk to me? Cole.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
What are confessions yours? Last week? You set the tone.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
I don't think anybody else leap it out. I don't
think anybody go here in in my confessions.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
Yes, so it's not r rated.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
No, like when when you confess your soul.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
When you're trying to let some out, you're being honest.
And to be honest is to be vuluable. It's to
be open. It's to say, you know what, I drunk
this cut water. And I want to tell the truth.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
I want to tell the truth about what happened that day.
I want to tell the truth about what I was
going through. All right, let me set the picture for you.
I'll do this, all right, all right, it was a
fall day, right, you can see the dude, Is this
the same stories last week?
Speaker 4 (40:58):
No? Okay, I can see the dew on the window
of the plane. Beautiful. You know how sometime you.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Get on the plane and it's hot, but then in
the fall it's kind of cool when you get on
the plane. So I was getting on this plane, and
this trip it was to San Diego. I think San Diago,
where it's always seventy five degrees, one of the most
beautiful places in the world.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
I could not wait.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
And we talked about earlier about the belt Way in
the coffee. Okay, Now this is about planes, trains and
automobiles and coffee.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
All right. I was getting on this flight from DC.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
So I'm going from East coast to west coast for
our flight, right, no stops in between straat flight. As
I get on the flight, as I sit back, and
this is back in the day before we had all
the you know, your phone do everything.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
So I got my magazines.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
You rememb when people used to buy magazines and the airport.
So I got my magazines. I'm ready for the long haul,
planning our going to sleep all right. After I could
tell that we're about halfway there, all right, you know
it was two hours left on the flight.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
I feel something okay in my stomach.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Oh all right, And you know, and you know how
small an airplane bad?
Speaker 4 (42:23):
Oh yeah, tiny? I was forced in there.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
I don't know what turbles. I don't know what it was. Turbles,
I don't know. We hit a bump, what it was
I did we did? Okay, It's the worst time I
ever had on the flight. I left some snakes on
the plane.
Speaker 3 (42:52):
I bet that was the worst flight for a lot
of people, not just you.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
And watching you just sit there.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
I was like, I know exactly, but this is going.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Oh my god, God, listen in the mortal words of
one Semuaale Jackson, really.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
Crying you're literally crying right now.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
Tell me your story because I can't.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
I can't continue back, and let's hear your story.
Speaker 5 (43:22):
It's nearly I won't be nearly as tearful as friends.
Speaker 4 (43:26):
But oh my god, it's awful.
Speaker 5 (43:34):
Thanks for sharing. Okay, I mine is not. It's okay, Well,
my confession is going to be. So we have an
employee break room and they are really great about having
really good snacks in there, and they'll refresh them. But
every once in a while, like all the snacks will
(43:56):
be gone, I'll still see people with the sack back,
like where are you getting those? So, like I did
my own little slew thing, and I found that there
is a stash by a certain group of employees.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
You know who you are.
Speaker 5 (44:12):
They didn't know that I knew about the stash, so
they're like wondering where their snacks are going.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
But I also feel.
Speaker 5 (44:22):
Like you can't take you can't like steal little bags,
hide them away and then be like, well they're just
for us now.
Speaker 3 (44:31):
It's like this has to be fair game.
Speaker 5 (44:33):
You can't hide the employee snacks.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
You can't hide the employees snacks.
Speaker 5 (44:38):
They hide just some for yourself because you think people
are going to like eat them faster than you do.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
You don't think they fought with thinking people saying you
know what, I'm going to eat this Thursday, so let
me stash it.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Then it's like they get all the Oreo cookies.
Speaker 5 (44:55):
They get the good cookies, and then they leave us
with like got to share the well, yeah, like they're
leaving me with like the notch.
Speaker 4 (45:02):
Shit happened in all workplaces.
Speaker 5 (45:05):
But anyways, they didn't know I was taken from their stash.
But it felt a little bit. I felt a little
bit of satisfaction.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
And the person that feels disrespect when people put their
name on stuff in the refrigerator.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Oh I don't.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
I live with like four other people.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
So it's like I hate when people put their name
and stuff. I'll erase it for just for the hell.
Speaker 3 (45:24):
Somebody else's leftovers out of your fridge.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
Like that's the I would eat they leftolds. I would
scratch their name out and put my name. I do
all kinds of just furious stuff, like I don't I'm
a demon when it comes to people just putting it
on front street, Like I feel like, okay, like if
you put this in here and be like Tad's potato salad.
Speaker 4 (45:44):
I'm like, my god, like.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
You're eating it because they labeled it.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
I'm only eating it because they labeled it with their name.
Because if you really want the name, you're supposed to
put potato salad on that. That's the name of the
food in there, not.
Speaker 4 (45:58):
Not Tads potato salad.
Speaker 7 (46:00):
Right.
Speaker 4 (46:00):
And it also it makes me feel like you're trying
to one up me.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
By the way, I got Bob's barbecue today, Bob, No,
this is not your barbecue's mind, Bob his mind.
Speaker 4 (46:14):
So yeah, I get a fit.
Speaker 2 (46:16):
I feel a fist when people put names on food,
just name the food.
Speaker 5 (46:21):
I feel like, if it's their food, absolutely put your
name on it. You spent the money, you.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
Just put it in the front. Because the word about
people stealing it, yeah, well.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
And that's what because you put your name on it,
I steal it put on it. I would not touch it.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
But what about the other people who are definitely going
to seal the food. If there's not a name on it,
then they're gonna gt their food sold no matter what.
Speaker 2 (46:44):
London Fletch, That's what I'm saying, London Fletch, he's the
guy that steals food. I just feel like, once you
put your name on it, it's like you didn't stake
your claim. It's like you got to the moon first
and left your flag just to let me know you've
been there.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
If I'm an alien, I don't care. Yeah, no, just don't like.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
I feel like you don't have to do it me
as a human being, just because I know it's not mine.
Speaker 4 (47:12):
That's all the reasons I need to not touch.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Yeah, but you inviting me to touch when you go
out of your way, because I mean you sit at
home and said, you know what.
Speaker 4 (47:22):
I'm tired it is. I'm gonna put my name on here.
I got a cut work professional for you.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
Yeah all right, So it's back in my TV days?
Speaker 6 (47:29):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (47:31):
Is it deep? Black man? Is it deep?
Speaker 7 (47:33):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Well, if it's deep, I would say it's more palatable.
So do you remember this is old school? But you
know you used to have mail rooms. Maybe they sell
mall rooms.
Speaker 4 (47:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
Suggestion box, right, it's a suggestion, but I remember the suggestion. Yeah, right,
so you're dropping your suggestions. So this is back in
like two thousand. I have to date this because it
makes a story. But around like twenty ten, there was
just one person I didn't get along with. Yeah, and
I was like, nobody listens to me, nobody listens to
anyone else, and they complain about this person.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
I'm going to put a suggestion in the suggestion box, right.
Speaker 4 (48:10):
You know what as a worker, I have never put
anything in the suggestion but.
Speaker 3 (48:14):
Well, here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
So this is like twenty ten, right, So every day
the mail room is going in, going in, going in,
suggestion box just sitting there locked. Yeah, And I'm like,
two years later, I'm like, I wonder if anyone has
ever checked this suggestion box.
Speaker 4 (48:31):
Who job is?
Speaker 2 (48:32):
It?
Speaker 4 (48:32):
Isn't the matter, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (48:34):
It's twenty twelve. Like I'm gonna find out. Now it's locked.
I'm like, how can I get in here? So what
I did was, I was like, I'm in the mail room.
Speaker 3 (48:40):
I took a paper clip, unfurled it right to a
straight Then I took some tape, right, and I put
some tape on the end, and I'm like, I'm gonna
dip this down in the suggestion box and pick move
it around and pick up a suggestion and see you
a criminal mass. So I go down there and I
jag a little bit. I'm like, all, let's see what
I got here. Twenty twelve.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
Yeah, I opened it up.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
It says, hey, are we ever going to get a
good copier in here? It's two thousand and four, for
God's sake.
Speaker 4 (49:12):
And I was like, they've never so it had been
six years.
Speaker 3 (49:16):
It was two thousand and four. This was eight years later.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
They were looking for a copier from eight years early.
I'm like, they definitely didn't get my suggestion. They get
anyone's suggestions.
Speaker 4 (49:27):
First of all, there's nobody job to go open this.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
They put that in there, and they never opened it
up again. And then one day I went in at
the end of my tenure, it was just gone, Like,
first of it's never checked it.
Speaker 4 (49:38):
It's like the house fault. It was supposed to be gone.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
It was time I they never checked it.
Speaker 4 (49:43):
I'm first of all, why would your boss want to
hear your suggestions? They don't thank you, Like, what are
you saying?
Speaker 3 (49:53):
I don't know what I was even thinking at the time.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
In the fact that you came up with a scheme
to see to ram a God, the only suggestion that
was in there.
Speaker 4 (50:04):
You came up with a way to get it out
of there.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
And it had been even funny if it had been
my own, like, oh yeah, I need to fire the
dude beside he stinks.
Speaker 5 (50:12):
I would have loved to go through a suggestion box
just to see, like, yeah.
Speaker 4 (50:16):
What generation don't know what a suggestion box is?
Speaker 3 (50:18):
We do, yes, of course we do.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
What what do? What do y'all have comparable to a suggestion.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
I mean, I don't feel like we have.
Speaker 5 (50:27):
It would be like a digital suggestion box, which or
an anonymous survey that's not that's the new suggestion. An
anonymous suggestion box with like a piece of paper. I
bet that's like you're like, what's it gonna be? Or
like like that's a lot more satisfying than an anonymous
survey really a suggestion but I would have thrived in
(50:49):
two thousand and eight.
Speaker 3 (50:50):
Oh man, I'm telling you it was exciting.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
Could you just say what the suggestion box name should be?
The snitchbox?
Speaker 3 (50:58):
I was going to say the complaint corner, like a yeah,
it's the snitch box.
Speaker 4 (51:01):
Like basically you the snitch out of the work force, man,
very bad out of you.
Speaker 2 (51:09):
With the suggestion box, I'd be like, you know, Bill
doesn't clean up around him. Neither does Kathy. I'm just
I have a suggestion that you fire these people you
have been like, I'm tired of Tom laying his potatoes. Yes, yeah,
So it's basically a snitch box, and I think that's
why the Boss has never checked him.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
And you really had to be the scum of the
earth to put a suggestion.
Speaker 1 (51:34):
It's the last resort box through all the proper challenge,
and nobody listens, and you're like, all right, of the.
Speaker 5 (51:44):
I will say, I would love to know. A suggestion
box would look very different for like an NFL t
like a football team, than for like an offense.
Speaker 4 (51:53):
We couldn't have no suggestions. It's too raw.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
We we don't have the emotionally intelligence at the time
to watch out for people feelings. So it would be
suggestion send the kicker back to an article. There it'll
be something like it's gonna it's not gonna be the fluff.
And because it's no fluff, somebody feeling it's gonna get hurt.
(52:20):
So pro teams, basketball, football, golf, none of that. Nobody
can have a suggestion.
Speaker 4 (52:25):
Boss.
Speaker 5 (52:25):
If you guys want to leave a comment and leave
your suggestions, leave your suggestions. Leave your suggestions.
Speaker 4 (52:31):
Oh, yeah, you can leave your suggestion. It's an email.
Speaker 3 (52:35):
No, you know what are the comments?
Speaker 4 (52:40):
My suggestion is Fred doesn't drink coffee and get on
a plane.
Speaker 3 (52:44):
Oh my god, and nobody gets on that plane after Okay,
you want to get you out real quick for it.
Speaker 4 (52:51):
Wrap it up.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
Oh let's see what we got if my phone got
in the juice. It didn't sleep like I didn't sleep
last night. You got realized it was a long night.
Speaker 1 (53:02):
Man.
Speaker 2 (53:02):
We lost a game. We felt the pain, but I,
like I said before, I really did enjoy the light show.
I thought that was And we just said in the
suite with the other Venturan, I mean older players, and
all us was looking around at each other.
Speaker 4 (53:17):
Like we never got that.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
We never got anything like that. It started to kind
of be like little brother, big brother things like.
Speaker 3 (53:26):
You're starting to feel it.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
No, we kind of felt left out, like you know,
we never felt like that. Nobody showed us that love.
It happens what you got for us? All right, let
me ask you this. Okay, do you know when we're
in the Olympics, right, we always think about the players.
(53:48):
We never think about the other things, like the horses,
that's in the Olympics. Okay, how do you think the
horses get to the Olympics?
Speaker 4 (53:55):
No matter where? It's Hell that Greece Athens. They fly.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
What do you think they're air They have a seven
fifty seven jet made for only horses. No passage of sheep,
only stalls for these horses.
Speaker 4 (54:12):
What do you think the name is? Oh?
Speaker 3 (54:15):
I was gonna try and guess this Pegasus Air.
Speaker 4 (54:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (54:20):
Maybe that's a good one. What you got, Oh, I
have nothing, there's nothing in there.
Speaker 4 (54:25):
Air Horse one.
Speaker 2 (54:28):
Air Horse one is a seven twenty seven with padded
stalls and the horses got passports.
Speaker 3 (54:37):
The horses have pass.
Speaker 4 (54:38):
Come on, you know if they Olympic horses.
Speaker 2 (54:40):
You know these are high breed horses, you know, like
like they are top of the top, right, Yeah, so
they're not they're not mincing any dollars when they come
to that. And did you know this fun fact, no
hurricane has ever crossed the equator?
Speaker 3 (54:58):
Really that's interesting.
Speaker 4 (55:00):
Yeah, it's never crossed the equator, so.
Speaker 3 (55:03):
That makes sense.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
It's never came from the Southern humans.
Speaker 3 (55:07):
Yes, oh, okay, that's good.
Speaker 4 (55:12):
That's good. Ones down, Yeah, one's up.
Speaker 3 (55:14):
Also a huge one of Oklahoma.
Speaker 4 (55:16):
You know that was a huge win.
Speaker 3 (55:17):
Art looked pretty good.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
No, no, literally, I'm not down on Arch like everybody else.
I think Arch just trying too hard.
Speaker 3 (55:25):
Is also by the way, Texas CIPPI state, I think.
Speaker 4 (55:28):
In two weekks. Yeah, I got Florida this week, so
I got Maddie.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
So oh you got mad got me? Yeah, weeks ago.
You know, Florida got nothing in the chair about Listen
it happens. I could listen to sec we beat up
on each other, goes, this is where it goes.
Speaker 3 (55:44):
That's it for this edition of to Get My podcast
was anybody's sea geek.
Speaker 1 (55:48):
We're gonna strap it up, get back on the field,
