Send us your thoughts!

Who are you without the stethoscope around your neck or DSM, without the title "Mom," or without that "Clinic Director" badge? If asking that question makes your chest tighten or panic rise in your throat... good.

That panic is just the doorway to the greatest adventure of your life. For decades, you have confused your worth with your paycheck and your role with your soul. But the rules are changing. You aren't fading away into retirement; you are finally finishing the prologue of your life so the real story can begin. If you don't define your own legacy now, you risk falling into the "Invisible Woman" trap, which is a silent but powerful driver of midlife burnout.

In this episode, we guide you through the ultimate identity shift. You will discover why the Japanese concept of Ikigai is the secret to preventing Alzheimer's and how to activate the mystical Soul Star Chakra to download your true blueprint. We also walk through the powerful "Future Self Handshake" visualization, which will reveal the one specific thing you must let go of today to finally be free.

You aren't "too old" to start over; you are just now qualified to do your best work. Press play to meet the woman you are becoming.

This podcast supports women healers over 50 navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, and midlife transitions with strategies for nervous system regulation, trauma-informed boundaries, and chakra alignment to heal resentment and self-neglect while cultivating soul joy, radiance, and a purposeful next chapter of freedom and inner peace.

Welcome to the 12 Days ofRadiance Reset.
We're ditching the holidayoverwhelmed to take you from
exhausted and trapped to radiantand free.
This is your end of yearreconnection.
So who are you without thestethoscope around your neck or

(00:21):
the DSM in your hands?
Who are you without the title?
Mom?
Who are you?
If you aren't the head nurse orthe clinical director, if that
question makes your chesttighten, if it makes you panic,

(00:43):
well, good panic is just thedoorway to the greatest
adventure of your life.
You aren't losing yourself.
You are finally meetingyourself.
Empowering brilliant women inhealthcare over 50 to transform
burnout and compassion fatigueinto renewed passion.

(01:05):
Reigniting your spark to createa life that energizes you every
single day.
I'm your host, Dr.
Jules.
Let's get to it.
Today we are riding your nextgorgeous, exciting, adventurous
chapter.

(01:26):
I talk to so many women who areterrified of retirement or empty
nest.
You know, y'all, they think it'sa cliff they're about to fall
off of.
So today we build the bridge.
You need to listen to the veryend of this episode because.

(01:46):
I'm going to debunk the toxicmyth that you're too old to
start over.
P I'm going to show you whyneurologically and spiritually
you are just now qualified to doyour best work.
We are going beyond the body.

(02:07):
We are activating the Soul Starchakra, the energy center that
sits above your head and holdsyour true legacy.
And reason number three, I'mguiding you through the future
self handshake.
Now y'all, this is a powerfulvisualization to meet the woman

(02:30):
you are becoming and get theanswer to the biggest question
on your heart.
Mm.
Well, let's start with thepsychology of purpose, shall we?
In the West, we have confusedpurpose with profession.

(02:52):
We think our purpose is what weget paid to do.
So when we stop getting paid orwhen the kids stop needing us
daily, we feel like we'veexpired.
We feel like the milk that'sgone bad.
But in Okinawa, Japan, one ofthe blue zones where people live

(03:17):
the longest, happiest lives, they have a different concept.
And I'm probably gonna say thiswrong, they call it L-K-I-G-A-I.
I'm gonna try to say that, butthat's what they call it.
It translates to your reason forbeing and here is the very

(03:40):
fascinating part.
Hard we women over 50, y'all.
For us this L-K-I-G-A-I.
Rarely has to do withproductivity.
Research shows that women intheir postmenopausal years who

(04:02):
have a really strong sense ofpurpose, whether that be
gardening, mentorship, painting, are simply being a presence of
peace in their community.
They have significantly lowerrates of Alzheimer's and heart
disease.

(04:23):
See, your brain needs a purposeto stay healthy, but that
purpose does not have to besaving lives in the ICU or
screening people into the psychunit.
Not anymore.
It can be saving your own joy.
It can be mastering watercolor.

(04:43):
It can be writing a memoir.
The shift is moving from doing Iam what I achieve kind of thing
to being I am valuable justbecause effing I'm here.
You are not fading away.
You're just finishing theprologue, y'all the real story.

(05:07):
The one where you're the maincharacter, not the supporting
actress to everyone else'sneeds.
That story, girl, it startsright now.
So let's take this higherenergetically.
This transition is governed bythat soul star chakra.

(05:28):
Now most people stop at thecrown chakra.
The one at the top of your head, but this soul star sits about 12
inches above your head.
Think of this as your personalAKC record.
It is your library of wisdom.

(05:48):
It holds the blueprint of whoyou were meant to be before the
world told you who to be beforeyou became a therapist, a nurse,
a physician, an educator.
Before you were a wife, beforeyou were a mother, who were you?

(06:10):
What did your soul come here toexperience?
Mm.
What a lovely question.
When we access that soul star,we step out of the roles we play
and y'all, we step into ourlegacy.
This is where we find courage toreinvent ourselves because we

(06:33):
realize our worth has.
Y'all.
Our worth was never tied to thejob title in the first place.
So how do we access that wisdom?
We are going to ask the expert.
We are going to ask you, I wantyou to do this visualization

(06:55):
with me so I know you'reprobably driving or exercising
or cleaning, but listen throughthis and circle back.
Step one, you just close youreyes and take a deep breath.
Step two, I need you to imaginea beautiful, open space.
Yeah, it could be a beach, aforest, or a, just a beautiful

(07:20):
room.
Step three.
Now you imagine a woman who iswalking towards you.
Girl, it is you.
10 years from now, she's 60, 70,80, 90.
Look at her.

(07:42):
She is not frail.
She is not invisible.
She is radiant.
She's glowing with freedom.
Look at what she's wearing.
Look at that smile on her face.
She looks like a woman who hasput down the heavy burden.

(08:03):
Step four.
Walk up to her.
Feel the love emanating fromher.
Reach out.
Shake her hand.
Hell give her a hug.
Feel the warmth of her skin.
Step five.
Now I need you to ask her onespecific question.

(08:30):
Ask her.
What is the one thing I need tolet go of right now to become
you?
Step six.
You simply listen.
Don't think, just listen for thefirst word or phrase she gives

(08:53):
you.
Is it guilt?
Is it the job?
Is it fear?
Is it the need to be right?
You take that answer, that isyour homework, so you open your
eyes and whatever she told you, that is your Ner whatever she

(09:19):
told you, that is your Northstar.
You are not too old.
You are just getting to the goodpart, and I have to ask you, as
we close out this time together, are you afraid of the future
because maybe you have acontroller archetype.

(09:41):
Are you terrified that if youdon't control everything, maybe
you won't matter?
Girl, you've gotta find out.
So right now, go to the shownotes and click watch your
burnout, compassion fatiguearchetype quiz.
It's in the show notes.
Two minutes.
You're gonna find out.
Your next chapter is waiting foryou.

(10:04):
So write it.
Write that chapter.
We rise together.
