Recientemente el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía, el INEGI, dio a conocer la estimación oportuna del Producto Interno Bruto, el PIB, de México, el cual muestra practicamente un estancamiento en el primer trimestre del gobierno de Claudia Scheimbaum.
El PIB creció solo un mediocre 0.2% en términos reales contra el trimestre inmediato anterior, que había tenido una caída del 0.6%, evitando con esto la recesión técnica. Para que haya una recesión técnica tienen que ligarse dos trimestres consecutivos de caídas en el PIB, con lo que la economía cae de forma generalizada en todos los sectores y actividades. Pero no se puede cantar victoria, ya que estás cifras oportunas del PIB pueden ser revisadas más adelante. De todas formas, sería una victoria pírrica donde la frase “si seguimos ganando así lo vamos a perder todo” es adecuada para nuestro caso.
