One complaint I often hear from clients who have ordered concrete leak sealing procedures in which an acrylic gel was used is that under some conditions, the expansion joint leaks again. This problem happens typically because of dry weather, which causes acrylic gels dry out and shrink. And when acrylic gels dry, they lose their elasticity, and ability to adhere to concrete walls. And that’s why water starts leaking.
