(00:00):
Hey guys, what is going on? My name is Lily Monroe and you're listening to Escort Confessions.

(00:06):
And welcome back. I know it's been a month since my last podcast. I mean, I haven't really got
much to talk about that I haven't already talked about. So yeah, I guess this podcast is becoming
kind of like a travel podcast now. I was thinking of doing a separate travel podcast, but it would
take so much time and like to transfer everything. So I'm just like, it's fine. I'll just keep it that

(00:32):
way. So yeah. So recently I came back from a trip from Saint Croix, which is in Virgin Islands.
Two years ago I actually went to Saint Thomas, which is a much bigger island. It's more populated.
It's, I would say like in my experience, the water was clearer in that island than it was in Saint

(01:00):
Croix. But still, like I actually liked Saint Croix better than Saint Thomas because Saint Croix is
more like laid back. People are nicer there. I mean, people are nice to me everywhere because
I'm nice to everybody. Unless I don't have to be nice. But if that makes sense. But yeah, Saint

(01:22):
Croix, so it's very laid back. It takes probably like 50 minutes just to get to the other side.
Only 50 minutes. So it took me more than like it gave me more than enough time to explore the
whole island in two and a half days that I was there. Usually like if I go somewhere, I spend
more than two days there. Like sometimes four or five. And depends how big the territory is.

(01:47):
Not that it's the size that matters. But yeah, like those two and a half days were more enough
for me to go explore. Like pretty much the whole time I went, so pretty much the whole time I was
just beach hopping from one beach to another beach. And that sounds probably weird on your

(02:08):
guys aside. But beach because one... Yeah, anyways. So yeah, I went to beach hopping and
good experience. It's like one beach is smaller and there's nowhere to lay down. And then another
beach could be more intimate and you can go skinny dipping, which is exactly what I did actually. But

(02:30):
we'll get to that a little bit later. So the first day I arrived and the first day I arrived, I
landed at about 2 30 ish. And they have an hour difference. So it was like earlier. Yeah. And

(02:50):
time traveling, you know. Anyways, and I had to... Okay, so I rented a car. I like to rent a car
anywhere I go somewhere, which is great idea if you want to explore everything. Instead of just
like staying in one place. So I rented a car with the center line company. Y'all, y'all.

(03:12):
I booked a car in advance. And the family before who were in the line before me, I talked with her
because we both had to wait like a freaking hour to get a car. She reserved like months in advance.
And people after us, they got their cars ASAP. So I was like, what the hell? Like, why is this

(03:34):
happening? So that was like a first red flag. Like, I never rented with them before. And we had to
wait like an hour like, no, no, not okay. I mean, I was not in a hurry. But they were they were
thinking of buying a house and like that woman she was flipping off on her husband and the kids were

(03:56):
just hot. It was humid. Like, it got it got humid because it was 89 degrees. I get their frustration.
But I mean, I was I was pretty much chilling. So I was on my phone, I was writing on my diary while
I was waiting. Finally got my car. I changed in the car. I and then Virgin Islands, because they

(04:18):
are owned technically by British as well. You drive on the left side. So yeah, gets used to but
yeah, gets used to but it's pretty doable. So yeah, and the first destination was like a
Sandy Point wildlife refugees. So I went there, I had to wait like 12 minutes because they won't

(04:42):
open their doors until 4pm. And when the gate was open, everybody, everybody started going like
there were three cars in front of me. So I went at the gate, I was stopped. And the guy said,
Oh, today's actually the fishing day. And I was like, Oh, well, I'll just take pictures real quick.
Like, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that I'm just visiting. I'm a photographer and he let me in.

(05:08):
So I was like, Yay. If I say I'm a photographer everywhere, who knows how far can I go? And such
a good excuse. I mean, I am a photographer, I consider myself photographer, I take really good
pictures, I just have to market it more. So anyways, um, yeah, so went to the Sandy Point
wildlife refugee, the water was really clear. Unfortunately, I could not swim because it was

(05:30):
for fishing. It was only fishing day. So they had three beaches at the wildlife refugee. I went to
the first one where everybody went. They began to set up fishing, I took some pictures, I saw
really big seashells that are as big as my head, pretty much. So I took pictures with those big
seashells on the seashore. And then I went to another point, it was more intimate. I could have

(05:58):
stayed there. But I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna respect the rules. It's fishing day. As much as I
didn't want to go dip in the water, I decided not to. And then I went to the last point and I gave
like a city view and it was just, it was gorgeous. So yeah.
