Bible references:

  • "Ethiopia shall soon stretch forth her hands unto God." - Psalm 68:31
  • "I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth" - Isaiah 45:1
  • "And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship" - Acts 8:26-27
  • "For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:11-13
  • "And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates." - Genesis 2:14
  • "And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan." - Genesis 10:6
  • "The land of Cush, and the land of Egypt, and the land of Pathros, and the land of Ethiopia" - Isaiah 11:11

It's important to note that while the Bible does not describe the physical appearance of Ethiopians or Israelites, it does not suggest that they are white. The Bible is a spiritual text and does not focus on physical characteristics but the physical references that do exist frequently depict physical characteristics common to the African continent such as bronze skin and wooly hair.
