Welcome to Connecting WithSpirit, the podcast where we
explore intuition, spiritualdevelopment, and channeling
wisdom from the higher realms.
I'm Lisa Brandis, and today Iwan't too take you behind the
scenes of an incrediblemilestone in my own journey.
My first live radio interviewwhere I shared messages from my

spirit guide, Anya.
On a much larger platform, butmore importantly, I'll also be
sharing key lessons so that youcan step into bigger
opportunities with confidenceand trust in yourself too.

So let's dive into what it waslike stepping into the genius
zone with the lovely TerryMessenger and host Aaron Malloy
from the Edge Radio and how youcan apply these insights.
In your own journey.

So this journey didn't startwith the radio show a few weeks
earlier.
I was a guest on Terry's podcastwhere she asked me to share my
passion for uplifting healersand light workers.
We talked about reiki and wetalked about intuitive healing
and how deepening our connectionwith spirit can create profound
(02:15):
transformations, not only in ourlife, but also with the clients
that we're working with.
And as we spoke, theconversation naturally turned to
my greatest passion channeling.
Terry noticed a shift in myenergy and she said that I just
lit up.
She recognized that I wasstepping into what she calls my
(02:36):
genius zone, that place whereeverything just flows.
I kind of call it the channelstate as someone who helps
people to elevate.
Uh, into their true power.
Terry saw the potential forsomething more.
She asked"Lisa, would youchannel'Anya' live on radio"
without hesitation?
I said, sure.
(02:57):
So my first tip for you is trustyourself.
And say Yes.
When an opportunity aligns withyour soul's purpose, trust
yourself and say yes.
Even if you don't feel ready.
Growth happens when we step outof our comfort zone.
Next time you feel that nudge,whether it's to speak or to
(03:17):
share, or to step forward oreven to run your very first
Reiki workshop, take pause.
Take a deep breath and say yes.
Before your mind talks you outof it, have you ever had a
moment where you almost said noto something really big?
(03:39):
So fast forward to the day ofthe show.
Terry and I met for a cuppa atof all places, a Christian
bookshop.
It was a perfect moment toreally ground myself, calm any
nerves that I had.
And I did have a few,'cause Igot lost on the way to Mount
Lawley in Perth here.
So that kind of threw a bit of aspanner in the works.
(04:01):
So I was a bit worried aboutrunning late.
So the minute I saw Terri, allof my nerves were just put at
ease.
Um, Terri is such a generous andloving soul.
She made me feel like I wascatching up with an old friend.
And so naturally, any lastminute doubts just melted away.
So next we ran across the roadand headed straight into the
(04:25):
studio where Aaron greeted mewith his signature warm smile,
stepping into the studio.
Felt familiar because I'd donemy research, watched interviews
online, and had prepared myselfas much as I could mentally
anyway.
So my tip for you is thatpreparation also breeds
confidence.
So before stepping into any bigmoment, whether it's a talk, a
(04:49):
reading, or a new experience, oreven that first Reiki session
that you're doing, take the timeto familiarize yourself with the
environment.
Give yourself time before aclient comes in or before you
begin a workshop, visualizeyourself succeeding, which is a
bit of an NLP tip, and that alsohelps you to feel at ease so
(05:11):
that you are just ready toshine.
Let me know how you prepare whenstepping into something new, and

So next, the red on air signflashed.
And just like that, we werelive, Aaron and Terri's energy
was electric.
It was warm, engaging, and fullof banter.
They introduced me as someonewith a special gift, and from
(05:34):
there we flowed effortlesslyinto the story of how I first
connected with my guide Anya.
Uh, it felt really natural,exhilarating, and completely
aligned with my sole purpose.
So then the moment I'd beenpreparing for arrived, I
channeled Anya live on radio forthe first time.
(05:54):
The energy in the room shifted.
Even Aaron, who admitted that hedoesn't feel fear was feeling
his heart racing, which Iactually think was because the
presence of Anya had alreadystarted to come in.
The energy in the room shifted.
It was.
Powerful and a little expansive,and filled with love.
(06:18):
The messages that came throughfelt like a real gift, not just
for the audience, but for me aswell.
So my tip number three is whenyou do feel nervous, shift from
a state of fear to a state ofservice.
So when stepping into somethingnew, focus on service rather
(06:40):
than fear.
Instead of asking, what if Ifail, ask, how can I serve?
This shift in mindset changedeverything for me.
The energy moves away fromself-doubt and that monkey mind
that starts to engage into yourpurpose.
So let me know if you've everexperienced the magic of
shifting from fear to servicelike I did yesterday.

By the time the interviewwrapped up, I was just on the
biggest high.
I had a deep sense of knowingthat I'd stepped into something
bigger than myself, and I have afeeling that this is just the
beginning because at the end,Aaron asked if I would like to
come back on.
And of course.
I'm sure you know already myfirst response was Absolutely.
(07:23):
This experience was a powerfulreminder that when we say yes to
opportunities, when we trust inour gifts and show-up fully,
magic happens.
And the best part is, if I cando it, you can too.

they feel a little scary, leaninto them.
