How to TRUST your Intuition and begin your Healing Transformation NOW

On today's episode with San Qing, we welcome incredible healer and teacher, Irina Webster. 

My name is Irina, a Russian variant of Irene, which means ‘peace.’ I love my name because, to me, being intuitive means being at peace with myself and seeing the world through a peaceful lens. I am a healer, a medical doctor, and an intuitive.

From a young age, I was extremely sensitive. My parents often told me I was “too sensitive” and that I needed to “toughen up.” At the time, I didn’t understand that I was born an empath, a highly sensitive person. This heightened sensitivity led me to develop severe eating disorders—anorexia and bulimia—that persisted for decades. Conventional medical treatments failed to help, and I felt the key to my healing lay deep within me. I realized only I could heal myself by connecting with my body on a profound level.

Wanting to understand the nature of my sensitivity, I pursued a medical degree after high school, graduating in Pediatrics (children doctor) in 1993.

My curiosity about human conditions drew me toward Immunology, and I later completed postgraduate studies in Immunology and Allergy at the Medical University of St. Petersburg. During my postgraduate studies, I discovered a new field called Psychoneuroimmunology, the study of how the mind, nervous system, and immune system interact. I began researching how emotions and the psyche influence health, which eventually became the foundation of my book, The Secret Energy of Your Body.

In 2001, I emigrated to Australia after marrying an Australian. I passed the medical exams and worked as a medical doctor at the Canberra Hospital for about three and a half years, but the intense stress led me to fall ill. I developed severe uterine bleeding caused by fibroids, which left me fainting and collapsing at work due to blood loss. A specialist recommended immediate surgery, warning me that I could “bleed to death” if I didn’t have my uterus removed.

Initially frightened by his words, I then heard a voice from deep within my body—not from my mind—that told me, “You’ll be fine, don’t go.” This was the voice of my Intuition. I chose to trust it and entered a vibrational state, a heightened state of consciousness where I could feel the energy running through my body. After the first day, my bleeding was reduced by half. I continued this process for three days while on sick leave, and by the third day, my bleeding completely stopped. The problem never returned, and this happened 17 years ago. I had healed myself.

This experience became my breakthrough, transforming me from a conventional doctor to a healer and medical intuitive.
