Trauma is universal. It’s something that we’ve all experienced to some degree if we’ve lived on this earth long enough.  Over the last few years, people have become more comfortable with sharing their trauma, which is a good thing, I think. But just like a lot of things, it can become watered down and not hold as much weight as it used to. If you’re a loyal listener of this podcast, you know that I like to have real and unique conversations about all sorts of topics and this is definitely one of those.

In this episode,  I’m joined by Rae Leonard who has experienced her share of trauma and addiction.

Rae Leonard is an author, intuitive guide, and coach. Her latest book is titled High Sobriety: A Trip Out of the Bottle Into Your Intuition. She draws on several areas of expertise, including Jivamukti Yoga, VortexHealing®, Conscious Language, and Master cleansing, to help people who are ready for post-traumatic growth. Rae combines her coaching practice with frequency work, biofeedback, and transformation to help her clients intentionally change their deeply rooted patterns and unearth a carefully calibrated inner compass.

Rae is truly a ray of sunshine and I loved our conversation. Rae and I talk about trauma and how we can grow from what we’ve experienced. What I took away from our conversation was so much more than I expected and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised once you hear it.

In this episode of the Contagious Confidence Podcast, we talk about:

  • What is trauma?
  • How to heal from trauma
  • The importance of self-love
  • The power of our words: words are wands
  • Stepping into the beingness of who you are
  • What is post-traumatic growth?
  • How helping others helps us grow
